openComic about a man who gets thinner no matter how much he eats? Print Comic
I'm trying to find this comic that started out with a story about this older gentleman who lived in the city and was suddenly struck with a supernatural hunger. He runs up to a burger stand and orders several burgers, eating them all in one sitting and then running off to a restaurant where he orders a ton of food, but no matter how much he eats he just gets thinner and thinner. Eventually he becomes so desperately hungry he jumps at a lady and tries to bite her leg, but then quickly dies starved and emaciated.
I can't seem to find what comic it was- I feel like it was a Sandman comic for some reason. All I know is that this little story was at the beginning of a much larger comic overall. I know it wasn't an adaption of Stephen King's "Thinner"; the plot is far shorter and it's implied that some greater power is at work through the narration boxes.
openA graphic novel series that ive forgot the name of Print Comic
There were these kids and there was this device that resembled an old fashion movie projector that makes a portal to another world and there were these shadow creatures that can kill you by touching you and the only way to kill them is with light and i remember a scene with sand whales. Also the main character got sick at some point and her grandpa knows alot about this world and they thought he was dead for a while. Also the main character has a clone that according to her grandpa "is the source of her sickness"Does anyone remember what its called?
openComic book with a scratched cheek - ANSWERED Print Comic
I don't have much to go on, so I apologize in advance. It's a memory that popped into my head a couple of days ago, and I'm going crazy trying to place it.
The comic in question is almost certainly published by Marvel, and probably published in the 80s.
The page that's stuck in my head is of a character (possibly Wolverine???) that has saved an injured adversary from death, or is trying to give some comfort in their final moments. The adversary wordlessly expresses their hate for the character by reaching up with their right hand and scratching deep gouges into the character's left cheek. The scratching is depicted in three panels as the adversary digs their fingers down.
It's the adversary's final act, as they die after doing this.
Does this sound familiar to anyone? Thanks for your time.
Edit: The answer came to me while I was doing some housekeeping. It was Captain America and the Red Skull, in Captain America #300. My apologies.
Edited by kensouopenOld Superman story Print Comic
This is an old Superman comic, published before the 90s. It might have been in the 60s, 70s or 80s. An old man in an isolated community tells stories about a fictional character he's made up, called "Superman". What he doesn't know, unlike almost everybody else, is that Superman actually exists, and that every story he tells is a real adventure that Superman actually has experienced. At the end, the old storyteller meets Superman who's right in the middle of an important mission (to stop a bomb, I seem to remember), and the storyteller has to come up with a story where Superman gets it done and saves everybody.
openMarvel Comic Print Comic
I’m trying to find a Marvel Comic Book. It was the first one I ever had as a kid (not sure how I got it though) so it has some sentimental value but I lost it at some point when I was little. I remember it had Spider-Man, the Hulk, and I think Captain America fighting the Leader on a Submarine. It was also one of the older ones where they put the featured characters’ heads on the top left corner of the comic cover. Ring any bells? I really wish I could set notifications for these posts.
openComic: Donald Duck VS absorbing robot Print Comic
I've been trying to remember a Donald Duck comic I've read in the early-to-mid 2000s in collections of Disney comic stories published in French. The particular story involved Donald Duck facing against either a robot or an alien entity that can absorb the stuff around itself and grow as a result. I think it also sought more and more power, and spoke only in disconnected words. I also remember the climax, where Donald convinces the enemy to launch itself into the sun.
I've looked up some Donald Duck series where this could have happened, but my search hasn't yielded any results. Any help would be appreciated.
Edited by IamabrawleropenMarvel character with Friction powers Print Comic
There was this Marvel character I read about a while back in what I think was an issue of The Amazing Spider-Man. He or she had the power to remove friction. I believe it was a bad guy, who Spider-Man had some trouble with.
I don't think this was the character Charlotte Beck, AKA Friction, because as far as I know she never appears in any Spider-Man comics.

openThis one superhero comic Print Comic
So, I'm trying to remember this one superhero comic that's basically another Genre Deconstruction of superheroes, but it opens with a superhero just rolling up with an announcement that he just murdered the president and his reasons fall within the lines of "he wasn't doing a good job protecting the nation" or something. That's the most I can remember. I know it was featured on The Spoony Experiment.
openTransformers Print Comic
I'm trying to find a specific issue/storyline of the Transformers. When I was young, in the 90s, I read a comic with an image that burned into my mind: Megatron holding another transformer, who is Optimus Prime my memory, by the innards of his chest. The transformer (Prime) is exceedingly damaged with its "guts" in Megatron's hand, while Megatron says "He's finished." Then a few car transformers show up with the dialogue "it's our party now!" and the comic ends with one of them seeing Prime dead/damaged and says "Optimus?"
Any help would be appreciated, but since this is a single issue of a long-running series with multiple comic lines and adaptations, I won't be surprised if no one knows this one. Not to mention it happened so long ago that my memory might be conflating different things into one memory that aren't real. Can't hurt to ask, though!
openCartoon Strip Monster Gross Exaggeration Print Comic
I remember seeing this comic strip few years back with I think a girl standing in front looking up at an enormous green monster (maybe there was not a child, cannot remember). I think the text read "gross exaggeration" or "gross caricature", I think the monster looked pitiful and wore a jester's cap. It might have had some clown features as well, such as a clown nose. I cannot remember where I saw this on the internet, maybe it was Gocomics, but for the life of me, I cannot remember the artist. Can anyone please help? It would truly be appreciated, thank you.
openGraphic Novel of a boy who is also a secret agent (SOLVED) Print Comic
Back in either elementary or junior high, I rented a book that is a graphic novel about a boy who is a secret agent. Can't remember the exact title and plot, but I do remember some key details. The graphic novel might be an adaptation of an existing kid's book novel...that I also forgot the name of, and the main character is blond. The main villains are some rich people I think. Two things that stood out are that one of his gadgets is a Nintendo DS with extra nifty features such as a smokescreen and communications device and a copy of Mario Kart DS which does nothing but hey free game. This also zeroes in a specific timeframe which might be around the early 2000s. Another event was an eel who was in an aquarium which zapped a fish into bones and later on in the story, a woman was knocked into the aquarium glass which shatters and an eel landed on her, though thankfully she wasn't electrocuted to death. The genre is spy fiction, kind of similar to Totally Spies or Spy Kids but slightly more grounded. Anyone might know what the book is?
EDIT: Solved, it's Alex Rider. Specifically, an adaptation of the first book, Stormbreaker.
Edited by WarioGuyopenComic with mouth-erasing scene? Print Comic
I remember this one comic book that took place in a futuristic/sci-fi setting where a girl has her mouth temporarily sealed up by another woman during a meeting involving some councilmen or otherwise higher authorities. The girl was upset with a decision the authorities made(I think it involved her brother being sent on a dangerous mission) and was starting to speak out of line, so the older woman removes the girl's mouth to keep her from getting into further trouble. Her mouth is restored immediately after the meeting, but I seem to recall it getting sealed again not much later under similar circumstances.
I checked the page for Wipe That Smile Off Your Face, but none of the examples in the comic books section fit the description.
openManga about a homeless boy and a homeless girl Print Comic
As the title says, it's a Manga about a homeless boy and a homeless girl living in the streets.
It barely had any chapters back when i read it, but i think it was a slice of life type of manga, also remember the main characters looking pretty young but thats about all i can remember.
resolved Autobiography comic book about a little girl in former Soviet Union Print Comic
There was this comic book I once got my hands on briefly. It was an autobiography about a little girl living in one eastern block country. I think it was either Poland or Ukraine.
The front cover depicted the girl holding a plush toy while standing among soviet soldiers who were only shown from waist down - the upper halves of them were beyond the frame.
openComic strip about a girl talking about road trip games Print Comic
In my middle school art class, my teacher would keep some supplies in old cigar boxes. One of the boxes had a comic strip taped, possibly in an attempt to censor a tobacco reference.
In it, a girl was doing a show-and-tell presentation about games to play on road trips. Among other things, counting all the strange brands of potato chips encountered and all the kid who flipped you off on the way. (How this was allowed shocked me as a kid.)
The art looked, for lack of a better term, “underground.” It may have come from an art or comix magazine of some sort.
openA show involving assassins, a family, and love Print Comic
Okay, so this show is basically one where the guy's known this girl for a long time and she suddenly gets taken back by her assassin family, so the guy goes to her house and kinda just does a couple of stunts all just to save this girl and eventually, to make sure they don't keep attacking him and preventing him from being with her, I believe he puts on a ring and decides to be inducted into this family of assassins as the bride of this harmless girl who's being hunted by pretty much all kinds of terrible people, and so, this moment begins his life as a part of this family of assassins, fighting off bad people and doing his best for his sweet, sweet bride. Am I making sense here?
openDonald Duck wishes for 'coconuts' instead of money Print Comic
I am trying to locate a particular Donald Duck/Uncle Scrooge story. I think it is by Carl Barks but I wouldn't swear to it.
In the story, Donald keeps aggravating Scrooge by continually referring to money by various slang terms: 'coconuts', 'bananas', 'clams', etc. Donald and the nephews accompany Scrooge on an expedition to the South Seas in search of some sort of magical stone (my memory is bit vague on the details here). They travel to an island were the natives are depressed because no traders have come to buy their coconuts, so they have a huge glut of coconuts and no money. Donald does not pay attention to the islanders' plight as he is obsessed with finding the stone. When he does locate the stone, he wishes for 'a million coconuts' (meaning dollars). The islanders hear this and immediately pelt him with their stock of excess coconuts, then tell him he has till sundown to pay them for the coconuts. When Donald asks what will happen if he doesn't pay, they say they will gather up the coconuts and throw them at him again. The nephews save the day by finding the stone and wishing for a trader to show up and buy all of Donald's coconuts.

Flipped through a horror graphic novel somewhere during the 2000's, most likely black and white
Family finds a black stain on a wall in their home that can't be cleaned, removed or covered up.
Anger and madness start spreading amongst the family. May have caused the Murder-Suicide of a neighbour and his Mail-Order Bride
The stain starts growing with the bloodshed and I thinks leads to the protagonist burning down the house to destroy the stain
