openLate Show With David Letterman Skit Live Action TV
I'm hoping someone with a better memory or better Google-Fu can track this down for me.
In one of David Letterman's "CBS Mailbag" skits, he reads a letter from a viewer asking how a computer or the Internet works. The camera cuts to his announcer, Alan Kalter, who is wearing a superhero-like suit. Alan says he can answer the question. He shouts, "Follow me!" and there's a bad special effect of him shrinking and entering the computer. The camera goes back to Letterman who asks, "How were we supposed to follow him?" Letterman then reads a few more letters, and the announcer "unshrinks" at the end, saying "And that's how it works." (All of this dialogue is approximate.)
I thought of it while on the "Inside a Computer System" page, thinking it should be on the list. I also checked "Incredible Shrinking Man" with no luck. I'd love to find a video of it, or at least know when it aired. It was definitely The Late Show with David Letter, and definitely Alan Kalter announcing, which narrows it down to 1995-2015.
openGoldfish.... rain...? Live Action TV
Here's another one with a little more to go on. I'm sure it was British and would be from the mid 80s to late 90s. It's possible it's a segment from a compilation children's program/vhs tape rather than a series, and it must be for very young children considering how simple and bland it is but here goes:
There's a lady, a goldfish in a bowl and rain which starts and stops. She seems to be inside and then outside and we see the goldfish and her standing in her living room and then standing outside. I have no idea why.
Any ideas?

openLooking for an old kids show Live Action TV
I'm trying to remember the name of a show that I think was live action. The characters were giants that were furry. One was green with a butterfly net, one blue with a red striped hat while sleeping and one was orange. Two girl ones had flower dresses.
openLong Shot for Live Action ... Something Live Action TV
I was watching "Guy On a Buffalo" the other day, and it triggered a traumatic memory of something I saw on TV when I was a kid in the '80s—though the show or miniseries or movie on TV may have been from the early '80s or '70s. All I remember are two scenes: 1) A man and woman—sort of country types, between Mountain Man and Little House on the Prairie—having a picnic, and the woman getting upset because the man put a frog in her food (a sandwich?) as a prank. 2) The end, with the man cradling the woman's lifeless and bloody body. In my memory, she was killed by a mountain lion or something similar, but I may have supplied that detail from my imagination. These scenes have that sort of grainy and washed-out look of the late-70s in my mind. And they have stuck with me for 30 years.
Edited by jesteramopenKids show with circus animal puppets Live Action TV
Hi, I am trying to find a kids show from the late 90s or early 2000s about circus animal puppets. There were three of them I believe, but I only remember a zebra with orange and pink/purple stripes. I believe it was on Discovery Kids (The Discovery Channel’s kids block) and I believe was produced by Hi T entertainment, as I remember seeing ads for it on Thomas the Tank Engine DV Ds. Please help.

openChildren's show from the 1960s? Live Action TV
Trying to find a show where a kid would draw some random lines, and the host would use those lines to draw a picture. Probably a Saturday morning show, may have been local to New York/New Jersey. Does anyone remember this?
openMusical Episode of a TV Show? Comedy? Live Action TV
I have part of this song stuck in my head. Here is what I think I remember: It is from a TV show that is family-centered, comedy sitcom It's part of a musical episode or spoof and everyone is singing or taking turns singing a chorus that goes something like "never never never" sang really fast then abruptly stops. It could be a kids' show, for some reason I think there could have been puppets too... I think it's live-action and not cartoon.
openPlease help me find this show, and this movie. Live Action TV
There is a movie and a show I am looking for. 1. The movie was live action, probably from the late 80s to early 90s. All I can remember is that there were 3 siblings (I believe), possibly and older brother and sister, and then a younger sibling. They either traveled back in time and made friends with dinosaurs, or they some how met the dinosaurs in present time, but I'm leaning towards the time travel.
2. It was a live action tv show, again probably from the early 90s. It was a group of kids that would go with this bear, human sized bear, on adventures on his flying bed. One episode they went to the wild west to find out who stole a bag of cookies or something? It kinda felt like a knock off of Barney.
Thanks in advance!
openObscure Kids Science Show Live Action TV
There was this really obscure childrens science show that would come on really late at night. It was similar to Bill Nye, except it explained weird stuff with science like why pets stare off into seemingly empty space be it ghosts or the fact that they can hear from far away & even through dense walls. I just wish i knew what it was called, I checked & it isn't Weird Science, nor that Beakman show. Please help me so I can relive my childhood. :')
openShow from the 90’s Live Action TV
I’m trying to remember a show/movie from the 90’s. I keep remembering two scenes. One where a girl floats at night in a row boat, maybe in a storm? Another scene she inherits her moms old doll and lives in her room. It might also be a movie.

Edited by willofoneopenGOOSEBUMPS-ESQUE SHOW - EPISODE WITH 2 BROTHERS, PARENTS GO OUT OF TOWN... Live Action TV
I'm looking for an episode of a show—I think "Are You Afraid of the Dark?" or "Goosebumps," but I have looked through episode synopses for those series to no avail. There is a pair of brothers whose parents are going out of town for the weekend. The parents hire a nanny/babysitter—an old lady. But once the parents have left, the older brother draws red chicken pox-like dots all over his arm and, when the old lady arrives, pretends to be his father and tells her they're sick, they have canceled their trip. She goes away so the brothers have the place to themselves. Then turns out there is a monster in the house. Please help!
openUnknown show about teenagers with some sort of powers Live Action TV
Ok im honestly unsure if this is a dream or a real show
The main thing i remember is that a villain in it can shapeshift into a large black snake and there's a scene where one of the protagonists wanders into his office and hes shed his skin in there.
I feel that this scene happened in an office
I think there was a blonde girl on the villains side who the protagonist has a thing for too
I know its not much to go on but if this sounds familiar id appreciate any help
Edited by JiendoopenNetflix show, female killer, psychological rehab Live Action TV
I'm trying to remember the name of a tv show that I saw a trailer for on netflix but forgot to save! It was about a woman who had killed her whole family, or she was a servant that had killed everyone she worked for and was deemed insane, has no memory of the act and it follows a psychologist tasked with rehabilitating her... Did I imagine this?
open1990s live action hero show Live Action TV
There was a tv show that I barely remember from possibly the 90s. The only episode I remember is a guy in red armor has to battle a clone of himself. When he ends up winning, he gets an upgrade with better armor and/or weapon. I believe he was part of some hero team but could be mistaken.
openLate 70s/Early 80s UK Christmas Special About Rejected Toys Live Action TV
I remember a Christmas special about a bunch of rejected toys, called "rejects" scheduled to be incinerated. After the staff left, they came to life as live action adult actors who then interacted with other non rejected toys - a bunch of toy soldiers who believed it was there duty to get "smithereened" by cannon fire and a bunch of dolls who arrogantly sang about being perfect and looked down on the reject toys. When the staff returned and they returned to being toys all hope seemed lost until a bunch of yelling children invaded the factory (toy store?) and grabbed the rejected toys and saved them from the incinerator. I recall some lines from it - "What's wrong with a reject?" from the lead reject toy and the line "We are perfect. Perfect. Absolutely perfect." sung by the arrogant male leader of the dolls. Any ideas? Would have been a BBC or ITV broadcast.

I have this weird vague memory of a TV-series I saw as a kid (around maybe 2006-2009?). I don't know where it originates from (my guess is that it was a Scandinavian series, but it could've been a foreign series simply dubbed into one of those languages), but I recall it starring a young woman who sits down near a campfire with some other people and tells a story about a girl who found a dragon or something like a dragon and raised it. I also remember near the end of the series, something happened that forced the girl to let go of the dragon. Then I remember the silouhette of the dragon flying by in the background as the woman telling the story went to do something.
Just a note that this is not "The Water Horse" as, like I mentioned above, the dragon could fly, and it was a TV-series, not a book or a film.
Anyone who knows who I'm talking about? Or am I just imagining it?
