A military AI controls a futuristic looking plane and gradually starts thinking and actively killing the main cast. The three main characters are a black man who dies while trying to shoot down the AI's aircraft, a white woman who somehow ends up in an asian country after her plane is shot down, and a white man who almost gets killed when trying to stop a missile from destroying a building, I think in said asian country.
There is also a scene where they try to stop the AI by not letting it recharge fuel but the AI solves the problem by shooting at the fuel container and somehow filling its own tank. The AI also starts downloading tons of songs after being hit by the lightning that makes it sapient.

This is a film I constantly get mixed up with The Last Starfighter, but it's not. It's about a bunch of kids who find a crashed alien warsuit (a la Iron Man), and at least one of them gets stuck inside it when they mess around with it.
Then hostile aliens show up, and I think the suit has an AI or something that the kids befriend, and I think I remember that - like The Last Starfighter - while it was in general an upbeat action movie for kids the film could get quite gruesome at times.
It's been killing me for ages...

There was this live-action film that was about this insane mix-up between a bunch of people staying at the same hotel who all owned versions of the same plaid bag. The main protagonist was an award-winning absent-minded professor who was studying the connection between geology and music who keeps getting trailed by a shameless swindler whose father is the local judge.

A mid-2000s live acction adaptation of a 1980s anime that has only a vague similarity. It has a stylized kind of industrial look to everything as made possible by every scene having not terribly convincing CGI. A couple human-looking robots (maybe genetically modified people) exiled to die in a desert randomly stumble upon some lost floating castle with the resources they need to wage a war against regular humans. The main character is some guy that gets mortally wounded and ends up sustained through a cyborg body that gives him super powers.
I distinctly remember that the iconic image of the TV show that also made an appearance in the movie is the hero cleanly karate-chopping a robot in half vertically. The TV show had more of a sentai look to its hero with him wearing a white suit and helmet, which also got a quick visual reference in the movie.

This one can best be summed up with a line that was in the trailer: "Your voice brought them out of the book?!"
Okay, there was more to it than that: there was a character from a book-within-the-film that had a ferret as his animal companion, and a plot about bringing an eldritch abomination/Sauron expy into the real world to reek havoc by killing the author.
Before anyone asks, no, I don't think it was Stranger Than Fiction.

I'm looking for a movie about an airplane race around the world. I don't remember much, except one scene where a pilot skipped a refueling stop (there was a quote something along the lines of, "And this pilot...is on his way to Scotland?!") and the very end (some years later, a commercial flight is canceled, and one of the people in the waiting room turns to the camera and begins to flap their arms.)

I saw it on television. It looked like a film but might have been part of a series of made-for-TV film.
It was many years ago, probably early to mid 1990s. I only saw a few minutes of it. The setting appeared to be an English boys' school where the boys wore uniforms. The boys spoke in with a British accent. One boy bullied by other boys, and the bullies had put a sign on his back with the word "biter". The victim was unaware of the sign on his back, walking through the corridors when another boy suddenly asked, "Is your name Biter?" and the victim boy didn't know what he was talking about until he was told of the sign on his back.
I only saw this one scene, I remembered it for many years because I thought it seemed so ridiculous. When I watched this as a boy, I thought it seemed a very odd thing for a bully to do, and I also thought another boy would be a fool to think that the kid's name was Biter and he was wearing his name on his back.

At school, sometime in maybe second grade, there was a rather disturbing educational video. (Counts as a film, right?) It was about emergencies, opening with some kids riding their bicycles, one of them helmetless. The helmetless one rode his bike into a mailbox, ending with a gash in his head graphic enough to traumatize your average nerdy, sensitive oddball - namely, me. SECOND. BLEEPING. GRADE. Each time something bad happened to someone (e.g. car crash), a clock popped up on the screen and everything froze. During this, the narrator asked what we thought should be done in that situation instead of the stupid things people actually did. What the heck was this‽ Not the interrobang, stolen from wikipedia, but the video?

There's this one movie my sister saw a long time ago and neither of us know what it is. She says it has something to do with some "Ring of Doom" or something. (No, it was not The Ring.) She distinctly remembers some monsters talking to each other and chanting "If there's a will... there's a way" repeatedly. It could just be a dream, but...

I remember seeing a film about TIME TRAVEL, they use a "fossil claw" or "fossil footprint" of a LIZARD LIKE humanoid that lived among DINOSAURS to go back in that time... Then they kill a TYRANOSAUR there, I think by accident or by self defense. When they try to come back, the PRESENT IS RULED by those lizard creatures... So, they manage to go back in time again and kill the humanoid-lizard in the past. In the end they come back to present and everything is fine... Looks like a 60's-70's or early 80's movie...
Anyone??

I'm trying to remember a horror/mystery film. It is about magical black cat who bring good luck to person who capture him. Film consisted of several stories, with the said cat as a link between them. One story is about a man who desperately want to quit smoking, so he turned to some shady company. A clerk shows him the room with black cat inside then starts electrocuting poor animal. After this demonstration, he threaten the smoker, saying that next time he smoke, they put his wife there (and they did it). At the end, magic cat found new home and a loving family, then he saves the girl from monster who steal children's breath.

I remember watching this on TV.
The film centered around an advanced military stealth aircraft and the pilot who fly it.
The plot really kicks off with starting with scene of the pilot waking up amidst the crash site of said aircraft. However, the pilot had no recollection of ever boarding the aircraft or even being near the location where it was kept the day it crashed.
In addition he is now treated as a criminal for hijacking military equipment. Then through some series of events, he was blackmailed into performing some mission for some rogue military/government official by flying a bombing mission using another one of the stealth aircraft.

So a few days ago I had saw a show on a Canadian Network and I thought it was pretty good. I just can't find the name of the show. I'll go over several things that happen in the episode though.
-The son of a man comes out of a detention center after a few months because of him stealing a car, crashing it, and killing a friend of his in the process.
-There's an autistic character who was run over by his own brother and hasn't left his apartment in two years
-That same guy who ran his brother over is having problems with his wife and has sex with a student in one of his classes who also happens to be a weather/news reporter
-A women's son who had been killed is having a mental breakdown because her son is gone, her husband is uncaring, and the fact that her currrent son isn't anything like her late one (She does fix her act by the end of the episode though and decides to go to her sisters house with her son so they can reconnect)
I could name other events but I believe with these descriptions alone, someone will know what I'm talking about.

I remember watching this film, it was probably made and set in the 60's or 70's. Somehow the main characters end up on an island and they are pursued by pirates. The pirates are all dressed to look tough for the time, but they are actually dressed like the gay biker guy from village people. I can just remember the pirates driving their boat up onto the sand then maybe 20 of them in their leathers jumping off in pursuit of the main characters.
resolved Slasher movie who kills those who cheat at university Film
Solved thanks to Bernd - it is Black Serenade
A non-English slasher movie set at a university (I think I watched it on SBS so I’m not sure what the original language was). Some of the parts of the movie:
- Movie starts with a girl coming in late to test in morgue and there are cheat notes written on the underside of the cadaver she is dissecting. Killer comes in a black cloak and dragging a knife along the metal dissection tables then kills her
- One of the characters is captured by the killer in an ally and tied to stake and set on fire. The other characters find her but due to the fire are unable to get close enough to rescue her.
- At the end, the murderer is revealed to the main character/Final Girl who enrolled in university to kill students who cheat on tests.

Remember seeing in a nightclub an action sequence of a smaller starship being chased by a much larger one. Both ships used actual beam lasers rather than energy bolts - the smaller ship eventually eluded their pursuer by faking a crash on an icy world using a missile. The ?Captain? of the smaller ship was killed though - he resembled Ray Walston (Boothby in the Star Trek franchise) but nothing in his filmography seems to match.

It was 2006 or so. Little kid me was riffling through the bargain bin of the local US Midwest grocery store. Even though I was a pretty sheltered kid at the time, I knew one of the DV Ds I happened to pick up wasn't something real wholesome. Now, I don't think it was something you'd have to go to the backroom of a video store to get, but it seemed pretty shockingly sexual in nature.
What I remember was a cover that seemed to be a young, attractive woman looking horrified as she was being transformed into a blow-up doll. I don't remember what any of the text on the case said, but it seemed to be painting it as a disgusting 'dirty, sinful slut gets punished for being a dirty, sinful slut' type horror movies.
Now, I could be getting this way, way wrong, and it's not nearly as alarming as that, but even as a kid who new nothing about porn plots, I was deeply, deeply disturbed by seeing it.
I really, really don't think it is a porno though, since I found it in a grocery store, in a pretty conservative town?
Any ideas?

This was likely a made-for-TV movie from the 90s or mid-late 80s. An American (possibly) Godzilla-like movie about a boy who finds a young dinosaur, then the mother attacks the island. His father is a marine biologist I believe. The dinosaurs came from a deep ocean trench, there are a few scenes of them watching radar and submersible footage and if I remember right the adult dinosaur looks a little like Gorgo. I'm dead in the water on this one and it's driving me crazy.

A million years ago, I got this dinosaur-related video at the library. Some kids are walking around and find a dinosaur bone on the ground. I barely remember the plot, but I think that the climax takes place at a science fair and has something involving a trash bin.
