openunknown show Film
It was a tv show like night gallery or twilight zone where it was mandatory for everyone to stay in contact with a cell phone and it was illegal to turn off your tv.
openIndy-Like Movie Film
This movie had an Indiana Jones-like character. He has a private collection of legendary artifacts in an apartment including the Fountain of Youth, and a sword that was alive, and could fight by itself. The one scene I remember was him buying a vase in an auction and destroying it so he could get a stone inside, and then got into a fight with his archenemy. Oh, and his old butler was in the Fountain for a while, as a young man, and when he stepped out of it, he reverted to his proper age.
open007 Rip-off Film Film
There was a 007-ish film I saw once. All I remember about is was during the opening credits, there was a blonde in high heels (I think) with a silver pistol and she fired it straight at the screen.
openMovie about some sort of giant spider Film
So I saw part of a movie a while ago, and even though I have no real interest in watching it (being somewhat arachnophobic), I'm still curious as to what it was called. I know at least part of it took place in a jungle, and the spider itself wasn't seen much (at least in the part that I remember). There's a group that goes looking for it, and at one point, webs shoot out of the trees without the spider being seen and someone gets hit in the face. The only other thing I remember is that some researcher finds the spider's web and starts examining it, but the spider sneaks up on him (only showing the shadow). The group finds him tangled in the web later, and I think he tells them that the spider is using him as a host for baby spiders before he dies, kind of like in The Mist. I can't find it in the Giant Spider section. It might have been a Sy Fy movie, but I'm not sure.
openOuter Space Jumanji Film Film
I remember watching a film where these two (step?)brothers, along with an older sister were staying home alone. The younger of the two boys found some space adventure board game in the basement and insisted the older one play it with him. I think the title of the game, which was the title of the movie, started with a 'Z'. As they play, elements of the game come to life, like in jumanji, such as the older sister being frozen, an astronaut showing up, and the house ending up in outer space. The boys and the astronaut finish the game after it is revealed that the astronaut is trapped in the game because he and his brother never finished playing it as kids because they were fighting over it. They complete the game and everything returns to normal, and when the parents come home, the two brothers are really close(at the beginning of the film, they hated each other). I was a kid when I watched it, which would've been early 2000s. Anyone know what it is?
openFantasy movie that might not actually exist Film
Anyone aware of a fantasy film (possibly based off a book) focused on a girl who gets transported to another world wi a lot of cgi. One of the characters (her sidekick/companion I think) was a redhead boy from the other world with a pointy nose. The climax involves her arguing with her reflection (which is actually a different character who took her place in the real world) over who should get to stay in which world. The very tail-end of the movie involves her finding the real-world counterpart to the redhead boy and saying something that makes him chuckle before he just goes "....what?" Cue credits.
openDisney Movie Film
Should be fairly easy. There was this Disney movie that I think had Scrooge Mcduck as the protagonist and the villain was some kind of evil sorcerer or shapeshifter. At one point near the end he takes over Scrooge's mansion and turns it into this spiky fortress thing.
openA couple come to inherit a house from dead/dying aunt/uncle, but get attacked by cannibals. Film
So, I'm not sure if aunt/uncle was already dead by the time they arrived, but I remember that nephew hasn't talked to him/her in a long while, and he was surprised to be a heir to the house. So, he and his wife arrive and almost instantly meet some neighbours/relatives, they get to know each other, and then it turns out that neighbours/relatives are cannibals. I don't remember how it ended, but there was a scene when wife got kicked into the pool.
The movie was rather old (1980-1995?), seemed to be American, was made in color, didn't have any magic or mystic stuff going on.
openFantasy/Sci-fi made for tv(?) films Film
When I was younger I seen a few films from what appeared to be quite a long series that were playing over consecutive late nights on BBC 1(I can remember seeing a good 5 or 6 in the tv paper). I remember them appearing a bit low budget, and I feel that they had some sort of opening that repeated over each one, which makes me think they were tv films. It was definitely a fantasy or sci-fi and had the main character travelling between different worlds or times. I'm sure the opening shows a scene in a medieval setting where someone is fighting a dragon or similar lizard monster. There's only one moment I can picture clearly and it's where the main character (late teens boy) gets betrayed (I think) by a guy (black, older. Maybe a professor?) who is in a large brown metal suit. A sort of cross between a space suit and an old diving costume.
I'm sorry that's exceptionally vague, but it's a memory from early childhood and it now and then comes back to mind. I'm Questioning whether it's even real or not! Any help would be great, thanks.
Edit: I should add that although they were shown on BBC, they seemed American/Canadian.
Edited by GenericSnakeopenMovie my mother watched Film
She said it was called "Thomas Sina" but she wasn't sure on the spelling, tried looking it up and couldn't find much. Other than that, it'd have to at least 50 years old and she saud it was about a girl and her cat.
openAnimated film or show Film
I've been trying to remember the name of this animated movie (or show) I used to watch. It may be early to mid 90's. The basic plot I remember is that this group of girls somehow end up in some strange place and it smells really bad, and they are trying to get back home and they have to get passed a villain. The part I remember the most is the villian's face before the screen cuts to black. She has like a purpleish gray face and a toothy grin. I also remember the only way they escaped was by singing.
There was another one I couldn't remember the name of. It was a live action about 3 kids who travel with a bear (person in a costume) and they fly on a flying curbed. It was just be an episode I thinking of but they sing. The boy sings about a green and yellow zoot suit. Sorry if this is vague.
Edited by ColossalSealopenComedy Wuxia Film Film
...with some Mel Brooks-esque humour like random anachronisms and homages to films like Titanic, such as in one scene when a female character used an axe to free the male protagonist off a post which he was tied on. Another scene had an attractive woman being filmed on by a bunch of males, with one brandishing what appears to be a modern camcorder. A dubbed version of it was aired on GMA News TV in the Philippines some time ago.
openfilm about migration from romania Film
I remember watching a film on Polish TV (most probably it was one of the TVP channels) sometime during the early 00s (might have been late 90s but I doubt it) about an illegal immigrant from Romania. The plot was as follows: the film began with the main protagonist, the kid named Petru Milanieu (as I’ve heard it) riding a Dacia 1310 (or similar) together with his father, then they skidded and ended up somewhat blocked on a bridge. The father was some kind of a scientist and then some bad Ceausescu guys came to interrogate them, asking about the stuff the father allegedly poisoned the sheep with and they all decided to leave Romania. Then they traveled to the West, crossing some border hidden among the crates in a semi-trailer attached to a Volvo FH tractor (I remember that one guy in the semi-trailer told his son to shut up or he’ll kill him), then they arrived in West Germany, some older told the protagonist the sausage doesn’t grow on trees there and you don’t find stereos on the street („Tutaj kiełbasa nie rośnie na drzewach, a wież Hi-Fi nie znajduje się na ulicy”). Then the kid rode somewhere on a backseat of a Mercedes W124 (might have been a W201, I wasn’t distinguishing them yet) drinking Coke from a can and chatting with some girl telling her he wanna be the next Beckenbauer. I forgot the title, perhaps somebody recognizes the movie?
openOLD MOVIE FROM CHILDHOOD Film
I so vividly remember the very smallest bits of a movie whose name nor premise I am hopeless to remember... All I remember about it, is that it was an adventure film, and it was entirely CG animated, and had a lot of colorful characters, the main character being a shaggy, dog-like creature with hair all over his body, and, another character being a train, which was red, and had eyes. I remember it from my childhood.
openLive action movie featuring macaw Film
This is a tough one and I wouldn't be surprised if nobody here can find it, especially since I didn't actually watch the movie, I just remember seeing it in a video-renting store. This would be around the late 90s/very early 2000s - almost certainly between 1996 and 2001. I'll always remember the cover; there was a side-view of a young woman's (I think) face leaning in towards a macaw. I think it was one of the red ones but I can't remember for sure. The background was kind of yellowish, probably a sunset. It was called something like "The Secret/Promise/Legend of the Macaw" or "The Macaw's Secret/Promise/Legend" but I haven't been able to find anything by searching those up. This has been driving me crazy because I'm certain I didn't imagine this, but it must be really obscure since I've never found so much as a trace of it. I remember thinking I would have really liked it, since I was really into birds as a little kid.
openCGI animated film with alien invasion Film
I'm trying to remember this movie I watched years ago which I'm pretty sure was CGI. There was an alien invasion with giant robots and people were hiding underground and for a while we followed this kid with a small yellow robot. And one of the aliens made a Heel-Face Turn because I think their leader was possessed by some sort of Eldritch Abomination or something
openAn old fantasy TV series Film
Trying to find a TV series. I watched it like a 15 years ago or even 20.
First scene I remember: a girl is standing in some cave and talking to a voice from somewhere. Shortly after the voice says that she is in his mouth and she really is.
Next thing I remember: something about... getting sword from a tree? This one maybe from a different show.
And there were some witchcraft like one bad witch was attacking a good character with a flying auto-aiming dagger.
openLATE 90S TO 00S LIVE ACTION FILM Film
I think this was the beginning, a young woman visits her parents with her husband or finance, who looked like Joaquin Phoenix, can't remember what she looked like. The father was mad about something and started beating the young husband or finance's car like crazy, and his daughter pleaded him to stop, I can't remember if the mother did anything. I think this was the Hunt for Red October, but maybe it wasn't. It was in color. I think I saw it around the late 00s on TV. Can anyone please help? Thanks.

I watched a tv show when I was younger (2000). It was about some kids who I think got back in time in some way, and they met a mysterious man and I remember a owl too. I think they took a boat out to an island too, but I'm not sure.
