openGiant Aliens Film
So, this is a movie I saw years upon years ago, and details are fuzzy, but I can remember bits and pieces. The movie took place either in like southern-North America (Nevada, Texas, Mexico, some region in there) OR somewhere in South America. The movie followed a man and a woman traveling across some region where alien monsters had landed and begun living in - at least I think they were alien. The monsters are contained within the region and have not been able to spread outside it. I think the man is being paid to take the woman to somewhere on the other side of the region? And the movie follows them trying to avoid them. A big scene which stood out to me was one near the end, where the man is standing outside like a ruined gas station waiting on something and he notices two monsters floating towards him from different directions. I think he gets ready to leave or something, but at the last second he realizes the monsters weren't heading for him but for each other. They show affection to one another and leave. The man realizes the monsters aren't evil or anything, they're just animals - and that whatever group has been depicting them as evil or whatever is wrong. The monsters looked kind of like... jellyfish? Actually, look up a "Netch" from Skyrim - they look like them, but bigger, darker coloring, and bio-luminescent (I think). They glow blue I think. I remember the movie may have had some kind of name like "Quarantine" or something along those lines? I think I remember the title being on like a radioactive sign with barbed wire in images? I saw this movie before, I want to say... 2018? I know it was most likely made in the 2000's or 2010's is what I mean to say. Hopefully someone knows this movie or has an idea.
resolved Stay look at me, or I'll disappear. Film
Hello, comrades! I remember a horror movie, where a group of young people found themselves in some abandoned mansion or motel, and this place had an ominous feature: a person, who was not in anyone's field of vision, will be disappeared. Those, who guessed what is going on here, were forced to keep an eye on each other.
Edited by treluxeopenSome film about a girl and her father and it had this candle Film
There was this film I saw about this girl and probably something about her father, and it often showed a candle. The last time the father (I think it was the father) is shown, there’s this white wooden structure (I don’t know what they’re called) and at that point it’s falling apart, and the father is killed. Then I think the candle is last shown fully melted saying someone died in the deepest part of the earth.
Edited by Kramirez0113resolved Christmas Carol Romantic Comedy Film

Edited by StalkerGameropenTown held hostage by mercenaries or criminals Film
A Die Hard -esque American live-action film from c.2019-2021 about a town held hostage by these mercenaries or criminals (I forgotten which) in their town hall. The lead protagonist is the town’s Sheriff, who intends to take back his town one villain at a time.
Can anyone here please help me figure out what this film is called as it’s starting to really puzzle me…?
resolved Woman fights kids in a bounce house to get a pregnancy test back Film
There’s a movie I saw the other day where a blonde woman takes a pregnancy test, but before she finds out the results, a little girl steals it thinking it was a marker and brings it into a bounce house full of kids to stop her from getting it. At one point, the blonde woman zips the bounce house shut and starts throwing kids, and finally get the test back from the girl by telling her that she peed on it. It looks like it was from the mid 90’s-Late 2000’s. I just want to find out the name of it.
Edited by Mitsy56openChildren's musical about teeth Film
I've only seen an advertisement for this, but bear with me.
A musical film about a village of teeth and the importance of toothbrushing. The actors wore full body costumes with animatronic faces, creating a very uncanny look.
It was probably from the 90s or late eighties, because I saw the advert on a VHS when I was a child. I think there was an advert for woody woodpecker on the same VHS, so it might have been from Universal studios?
openRobbers wearing fox and hare masks Film
I believe that I saw this movie is either late 90’s /early 2000’s (basically around the turn of the millennium)!!
All I remember about this movie is that these 2 guys wearing fox and hare kid’s facial masks hold a security depot and its staff hostage. They force their way in by using a hapless pizza delivery boy in order to trick the security staff inside into opening the door. Their hostages include the aforementioned hapless delivery boy, along with the staff, which include 2 security guards, a woman (possibly a secretary) and an auto mechanic (who wears a red hat and looks similar to the actor, Roy Schneider). I remember that the security depot also has a CCTV room, where the security guards monitor the various buildings around town.
openOld kids' summer movie Film
I was watching a compilation of old Kids WB commercials and I remember seeing an ad for some kids movie about a group of boys doing stuff during summer. I don't remember the title (I'm like...50, 60% sure it included the word "summer", but I might be wrong), but I do remember looking it up on IM Db and discovering more than one review complaining about it playing ad nauseum in the kids' area of a furniture store chain.
resolved Kids Movie about insturments Film
I had this hardrive which i watched a shitton of content from their. I would sometimes check it out to see the bizarre content their, but i since got a smart TV which (it think atleast) makes it unable to watch the drive. Now one of the movies was a badly CGI movie anthro insturments. I forgot what was the plot, but i rememeber the title had X somewhere or maybe started with that. But there was a scene in which (I think it was Fairy tale/bedtime story in universe) their insturments (like xylophones I think) and notes, and then their were evil insturments who would steal the notes in bubbles. And I rememeber being weirded out by that. I think this movie came out on dvd in Czechia, and released in i think 2006-2009. The main protagonist was a kid insturment. Help would be needed to find the movie's name.
open2000s comedy - "nerdy" character has a crush on Seven of Nine, who is depicted oddly Film
I remember reading a recap / review of a comedy film I think was from some time in the 2000s, and given the snarky nature of the site, probably a flop with poor critical reviews. A minor character is depicted as a nerd with Perverse Sexual Lust for Seven Of Nine, which becomes plot relevant somehow - but the strange thing that the recap points out is that the character is mentioned by name in dialogue more than once, but at one point they cut to a supposed picture of her that the nerd character is ogling and it's just a stock photo of a generic Green-Skinned Space Babe: the review didn't speculate on an explanation, but I imagine the filmmakers couldn't get the rights to the character and/or actress' likeness, and it was either too late to rewrite or re-dub dialogue to refer to some fictional, in-universe science fiction character instead, or they just didn't care enough to do so.
Edited by MikeKresolved It's not the golden boy Film
1 - There's a little boy said to be the reincarnation of the Buddha, he even punishes a villain sending him to a frozen hell... 2 - There's a girl from whom the boy is freeloading because she thinks she can profit from it... Even asking if he can predict the lottery numbers to which he answers that he can make the numbers he want appear in the lottery... 3 - There's a guy that acts as the Buddha guardian, but he keeps falling from a window with a loose frame, even coming back with the frame... and somehow the thing I remember the most about him is that he enjoys dog food...
The worst is I don't remember if the movie is japanese or chinese...
resolved Horror film about some people inside an abandoned building Film
The general setting: A group of people using white hazmat suits are researching an abandoned building inside some forest. I only remember two scenes:
- At some point some guy is piercing the walls with a nailgun to leave "proof" that someone searched the room. After leaving that room he decides, for reasons beyond my understanding (that, or I didnt pay attention), to pierce a water pipe above him, and acts shocked after getting wet, and uses a radio to tell a workmate to search for the valve and close it.
- One woman discovers a corpse hanging and the end of some stairs. After a bit she founds out that the person is still alive and uses the radio to call for help. Other people arrive and put the guy in the ground, trying to know what happened. The guy says something, one of the researches recognizes the language as german, and then the guy dies for real.
The reason why I have a hard time finding what movie it was it's because I don't recognize the language the characters were speaking: it's not english, spanish (or any romance language) and I strongly believe that is not german (based on what one character said). The movie looks relatively new (I mean, it doesn't look like an 80's film).
Other than that, I only remember that the woman in charge is named after a common english word (I think her name was "Love") and the word "hilfe" was constanly shown written on the walls, sometimes changing the letters to spell "lifhe" or "lihfe".
resolved Live-Action thriller film about kidnappers Film
I only saw a few minutes of this movie, in about 2008 or 2009. This is what I remember:
- A woman was searching someone's house, not her own house.
- She found a room with videos and watched one, and realized they were videos of child snuff films. Whoever was living in that house was making them.
- The woman found a child, I don't remember if it was a boy or girl or if the child was her offspring.
- She was confronted with a man and woman who lived there, who appeared to be very average white adults.
- The woman was horrified by what was going on in the house, and she might have pointed a weapon at the couple while backing away.
- The couple wasn't violent, but pleaded with the woman for understanding, in fact they were apologetic and admitted they had a problem and needed help. I think the woman told them they were "sick" and they agreed.
- The woman still didn't trust them and took the child and left. I'm pretty sure it was at night as she left the house into the night.
This looked like a thriller or horror movie, certainly it had horrific themes. I don't remember any on-screen violence, but I'm guessing from the subject matter it was rated R.
openVampire(?) con movie? Film
I just remembered a poster I saw for a film screening at a convention years ago. The poster depicted a voxel-style (I think) boy and girl holding each other's hands, except the boy had also torn the girl's heart out of her chest and was feasting on it with what looked like vampire fangs. I think I might've looked it up later and the description said it also took place at a con, but I'm not sure.
resolved Chinese action movie with a giant hovercraft at the end Film
I recall this Chinese action movie which at the end, a giant hovercraft rampages through the city, so the hero "borrows" a sports car and uses it to keep up with the hovercraft and uses a sword to cut through its skirt to try and stop it.
I think this other scene was in the same movie where the villains attach chains to a supermarket's inside and rip it to pieces from the inside.
openAnyone know what movie this is referring to (if any) Film
Ok, this is a weird query, but in the song "Break My Heart" by ATB, there's a line where the singers says she feels "Like a ghost in an old hotel", which sounds like its a Shout-Out to some movie (or maybe a book?) Can someone tell me what movie/book/whatever has a ghost in an old hotel?

it was this weird animated show
ok, so it was a brother and a sister living together. they were young. the sister was older. they were always in bear costumes, boy in blue and girl in pink. they lived in a tree I think. like it was a giant, hollowed out tree that was now a house. no adults were ever present. anyways, they had a slide that went from their bedrooms to the living room. i remember that whenever they would go down the slide, either the girl would crash into the boy or the other way around.
i remember that in one episode, they were playing a chalk game, where it was basically hide and seek, but the hider had to draw arrows and clues to where they were hiding.
i remember that this was on hulu, but checking recently i couldn't find it.
I'm almost positive this was made in the 2010's. it was definitely made before 2017.
