openVampire movie where a guy gets his face bitten off Film
I can really only remember the climax of the movie:
A group of people (maybe scientists trying to study vampires) awakens a vampire, who proceeds to kill most of them before they can take him down. One guy basically dares the vampire to bite him and make him immortal. The vampire responds by biting the guy's face off, which turns his whole face into a sort of fanged, vertical mouth.
If I had to guess, I'd say that the movie came out around 2010ish, and was set in the modern day.
I already checked all the relevant tropes I could think off (Monster Mouth, Tear Off Your Face, Our Vampires Are Different, stuff like that) and couldn't find anything.
Thanks in advance.
openA neighbor knocking at the door, complaining about loud music Film
I need to find the title of the movie sampled at the end of this song. Sounds like a Blaxploitation film
https://youtu.be/841DCy9Xz_8?feature=shared&t=242
"- Yeah, it's Cecil, your neigbor from downstairs. - Yeah? - Every night I hear this loud music, ya playin' this music, over and over and over again, I can't sleep! - Boy, I'm gonna tell you: screw you, buddy!"
Edited by FarwyndopenLate 90s/Early 2000s stranger danger PSA Film
Watched this several times as a kid in elementary and middle school (late 2000s, USA). It was live-action, and judging by the aesthetics/fashions, as well as the technology shown (internet chatrooms), it was likely made in the late 1990s or early 2000s. Definitely was on a VHS.
I remember it being a series of vignettes. I don't know if they were all one video, or a compilation of multiple, but here are the ones I remember:
- A middle-school aged boy messaging someone in an online chatroom about trading baseball cards, and the trader offers to meet in person. The boy leaves for the meeting, and when his mom asks where he's going, he says "nowhere, mom." He goes to a park, and the guy offering the trade is waiting in a windowless white van. He opens the door and the kid climbs inside.
- A little girl on a playground is approached by an old man with a missing dog poster. He says his dog Sammy ran off into the nearby woods, and he wants the girl's help because Sammy "loves the sound of children's voices." It ends with the man leading the girl into the woods while she's calling out for Sammy.
- Two middle/high school aged girls are approached by a man in a mall parking lot, claiming he's a talent scout who wants to have them audition for a new reality/competition show. He leads them to a van where he says there's a film crew ready to record. He opens the back, there's a cameraman and a boom mic operator in there, the girls get in, and he shuts the door behind them.
- Some boys and their dads are gathered around a campfire. One of them, uncle Johnny, talks about how much he loves spending time with his "favorite nephew" and tousles his hair. That night, the kid's asleep in his tent, and awakens to the sound of someone unzipping the door. "Uncle Johnny, what are you doing here?" Then it cuts to uncle Johnny holding up a finger to his mouth and going "Shhhhhh..."
It's not Saying No! To Strangers
, it's not the TV series Missing, it's not McGruff the Crime Dog, it's not J.J. Bittenbinder, and it's not Never Be a Victim
. It may or may not be Feeling Safe, Staying Safe
, but I can't find any footage to confirm.
openNightclub scene with telephones Film
OK, I am old, and asking a question about a movie even older than I am! Black and white, a scene in a nightclub where each table had a telephone on it and you could reach out to others by asking the operator to connect you to Table 7 or Table 23. Can anyone help? THANK YOU!
resolved Movie Where Man gets sent to life in prison for attacking his Wife's murderer Film
I saw this video on Facebook of a movie where a man gets life in prison for attacking the man that killed his wife, Grey.
All I know is that the guy who killed the wife is named Kovic...I don't know the title though.

Edited by Professional_NoobopenOdd memory of an movie ad on the radio. Film
This is probably gonna be a hard one but when I was a little kid (this would be about late 80s/early 90s) I was in the car with my dad and this scary ad for a movie came on. All I remember for sure is hearing some woman screaming something like "We have to escape"! At the time I asked my dad why she was screaming like that and he said something like "This bad guy showed up at her house and had some kind of monster with him". Seeing as I was a little kid he might have been lying to me for some reason (e.g. maybe the bad guy was really a Serial Rapist or something and he didn't want to tell me about that sort of thing), but whatever it is, I'm still curious. I know this is really vague, but maybe someone can figure it out.
openLollipop knife Film
The main character is pursued by 4 assassins. One of them is introduced as often dressing as a teenager to lure her target. There is a scene where she is on the bed of a man and use her lollipop to stab him. Another scene has the main character trying to steal data from a computer when a security guard or policewoman finds him. To distracter her, he have intercourse with her near the data center.
openChristopher Film
I recall the name being Christopher, but I looked it up and nothing came up. It’s an animated movie about a kangaroo that gets kidnapped by an eagle, dropped into a supermarket, gets raised by two mammals of some kind, and then has a bittersweet ending where he reunites with his family when he’s an adult.
openSomething about an age-changing carousel Film
I really only remember the end parts, because I don't think I caught the whole thing. I do remember distinctly that there's a magical carousel or roundabout or what-have-you that causes people to get younger or older when they ride on it.
I think the main group of protagonists were looking for some people, and when they found them they had turned back into kids. One of the protagonist kids (I can't remember if they were all kids or a mixture, but there was a kid) got on, went around, came back off as an adult, and was enthralled by the fact he had stubble now. Then there was a maybe-side character who got on and turned into a kid, I think in the post-credits he got put through the foster system or something? He continued to smoke and/or drink as a kid, it shocked them.
If it helps, the first kid I mentioned was white, and the second guy I think was black.
It's been in my memory for a long while, and I've tried several times to figure it out before. Maybe this will work
Edited by TrueEnderopenMovie Scene Where Guy in Suit Plays with Kids Film
I'm not thinking of John Travolta in Look Who's Talking Too with "All Shook Up"—though maybe I am. I'm actually thinking of another scene at a kids play place in a movie where the man plays with the kids while I think the song in the background is "Chantilly Lace". Maybe it was something I just imagined I saw all these years and was never actually real though, so there you go. Haha.
resolved black-and-white action? film Film
a black and white film about a British military base in Africa where the native soldiers rebel/go on strike, and the main characters (an officer and a soldier recently transferred) have to stop it. the revolt is eventually stopped bloodlessly when the main characters blow up a jeep.
openAn animated movie regarding a kid with a marble [SOLVED] Film
I recall the movie taking place in a house/orphanage with multiple bunk beds, All the kids were wearing green shirts, I recall a scene where the protagonist was playing catch with several other kids and the ball rolled into the basement, the protagonist kept a marble that was cyan or white, I recall this one who was ginger or had brown hair stole his marble. The protagonist noticed someone took his marble and yelled who took it. It was 2D and I never finished it
Edited by ZvlphvropenA little boy, meets a junkie, dies in a peer fight, candlelight vigil Film
An English-language movie I watched somewhere in 2013 or 2014.
It's about a 10, 11 or 12 year old boy (probably with long blond hair)
All I remember is that he meets a poor man addicted to drugs. There's a scene where the boy knocks on his door and the man doesn't answer - maybe he's so high or he died of an overdose.
The boy is attacked (perhaps outside the school) by his peers and dies.
At the boy's house (where his distraught parents are) gather people with candles in the evening, perhaps singing something.
resolved Girls controlling the weather Film
I think it is a Disney Channel movie, but I'm not sure.
I remember a Christmas movie about two girls that find Santa Claus' weather machine (don't ask), and decided to make it snow in their city, so I assume it was set in California for it to be special.
openSex Comedy About Guy Who Can't Feel Pain Film
I remember seeing a trailer (or maybe a part of the movie) about a young man who gets cursed somehow, so that he can't feel pain. I'm not sure if he loses other feelings like lust, or the ability to get drunk, as well.
The movie's a college sex comedy trying to capitalize on American Pie and similar films. The main character's a bit of a skinny dork a la Jason Biggs, but he has scruffier, blond hair. Getting the curse both helps him become more popular in college (the one scene I remember has him being hazed pledging for a fraternity, getting paddled and no feeling anything), but ends up getting him into trouble.
I don't remember much more about it, and I'm sure the movie isn't even any good, but I still wanted to try and find it to scratch that itch in my brain.
resolved 2000s adult movie Film
There's this movie I'm trying to find. The main character is a sex addict and he has a little sister who works as a sex worker. It was an American movie and I think it came out in the 2000s. I remember there's a scene where the sister calls the man while crying and it was one of the most emotional scenes of the movie, though I could be wrong.

I remember a film about a woman whose family is possessed/brainwashed by an eldritch abomination/demon they worship. They lure people to the home and lobotomize men as vegetables and lock them in a room.
At the end a man is lobotomized and locked in a room by the woman as a Fate Worse than Death either for rejecting her advances or rejecting the cult
