I heard about an anime, and I want to see it so badly! There were multiple arcs, but I only vaguely remember any past 1. A half youkai guy is trying to defend humans from youkai. I think his father who was the youkai is dead, and they want him to replace his dad. At the end of the arc, he joins them. Next arc has him dealing with his powers, wich possibly have something to do with the moon. There may or may not be a youkai prehistory who was one of his dads most trusted. There are also the youkai equivilent of gang wars. I believe there to be 4+ arcs in total, and if you have anything close, even if it goes against some of this stuff, post it. And it's NOT Claymour.

I appreciate any ideas or help you can offer.
I believe I saw this on cartoon network in either 2000 or 2001. The whole world is a desert. There is one main city with a huge tree. There is a silver-haired girl girl. Her physical description made her very special for the world religion. She was captured by pirates or bandits.
Everyone traveled on the sand on "ships." All the key religious figures (almost catholic like in rites) go to see her sacrificed. A boy tries to save her. I believe he wanted revenge for his fathers death. However, the tree gives her power and she destroys the wicked people and brings water and life back to the world.

NOTE: This is WESTERN ANIMATION. I messed up the tags and don't know how to fix it! >_<
Okay, here is a challenge. This is a show that I saw very briefly as a kid way back in the early-mid 90's. I remember very little about it, only one section of one episode. I am sorry, but I have no names to help you. My details are very vague, I understand that, but I am trying to flesh this memory out and gather as many details as possible. This is what I remember. Here we go:
I am pretty sure it was a space show where humans colonized a planet akin to Mars, red environment everywhere. They lived in bases/stations (I think). Not sure of the overall storyline, but I know two kids were involved, a boy and a girl, I think. The youngest of the two had befriended a small pet alien. I believe the alien had several tentacles as its appendages. In this particular episode, a large monster was destroying several bases. The other people living there thought it was the boy's pet, as it had been acting strange (due to it being sick?). It eventually disappeared in the episode (kidnapped? ran away?) and the kids were looking for it. When they left a room and turned off the lights, a glowing message was seen on the wall asking the boy for help (presumably from the alien pet).
That's all I can remember. I know it is not much to go, but there it is. If someone manages to help me figure this out, you will end a 10+ year quest to find the name of this show. I am eternally grateful for any help anyone can give. Good luck!

This was an anime movie I saw which was a Mind Screw take on the Pinoccio story. I don't remember the names of any characters.
The Pinoccio analog was made from the wood of a rare (extinct?) tree which has bright blue sap and (I think) magically stores memories. Somebody (the wife or daughter of the puppet-maker?) had died at/before the start of the movie. Possibly the puppet-maker had died also. This dude (had) lived in a rural cottage isolated in a desert, with one (dead?) blue-sap tree growing nearby. The puppet went on a quest, basically, in search of a way to become a real boy. Except he failed and, eventually, gave up and told the other characters "I'm going to become a tree now, but I'll never forget you."
It took place on an alien world with a bit of Call a Smeerp a "Rabbit". For example, "grass" was giant jellyfish floating in stationary formations 15 feet above the ground. I think this planet also had flocks of sky whales. I don't remember any earthlike vegetation, though the blue-sap trees vaguely looked like Earth trees.
Three scenes I can remember: One, near the beginning, where the puppet is either having a weird flashback or just hasn't become entirely sentient yet, and is mistaking some random girl for the woman who had died. He's got this horribly creepy, vacant look on his face and keeps calling her by the dead woman's name. Eventually he snapped out of it and apologized.
Another scene when the puppet and some humans are traversing a desert, and somebody says something like "look at this trick." They draw their knife, hold it in their teeth, and climb up the tendrils of some jellyfish "grass" floating nearby. When they get to the top they pop the balloon with the knife, and the whole thing drifts to the ground safely. One character is creeped out by this, but the puppet laughs and says "It's only a piece of dead grass!"
The third scene I remember was when the puppet was trying NOT to become a tree. I can't recall what triggered it, but he was growing branches and roots and had to exert a great deal of willpower to revert the transformation. Evidently the wood that made him was still alive.
I think also somebody was hunting him for access to the blue sap he carried, possibly because the tree species he was made out of was otherwise extinct.
There was also some subplot I didn't understand involving some Human Aliens who used to live underground but their sub-world was ruined, or something, and they were all dying of what looked like a grey scaly skin disease, or something.
I know it's neither Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water nor Origin: Spirits of the Past.
It could have been A Tree of Palme, except I can't find enough info to confirm that.

Okay this is a stretch, but I think I'll have a go.
Some time between 2005-06, my roommate was watching some fan-subbed anime during his stay. I'm intrigued by one of the shows he watched (I wasn't at the time, so I didn't ask). I only saw very little of it, and don't know the whole story, or premise, or genre for that matter. So I'll be VERY surprised if someone gets it from a vague description of one (possibly unimportant) scene.
The Scene in Question: In what looked like a wooden house full of people, an older kid was taking candy away from the younger kids while saying something along the lines of "It's Bad for you" and "we don't need to eat anything as long as we have the water." During the scuffle the big kid knocks a little kid to the floor who then started to cry (actually they were both pulling a bag from each other and the little kid lost his grip and fell). A young girl (who I'm guessing is either the protagonist or one of the main leads) calls the big kid out and comforts the crying child.
From this scene and bits of others, I think it's about a community of immortal humans who live in contemporary Japan, and the "Water" gives them this power. The community looks to be in a rural setting, but in an earlier scene the kids got the candy from an urban area. The aforementioned girl (I assume it's a girl) is older than the little kids but younger or same age as the older one, and she may or may not be a Fiery Redhead. There were other scenes that I think came from this show, but I won't describe them out of fear they might mislead.
And all these characters could easily one-episode characters and the series is actually about something else entirely.
Like I said before, I'll be VERY VERY surprised if anyone gets the show from my description.

A manga about a girl named Enma, sent from the Japanese Celestial Bureaucracy to various places in time to yank people's skeletons out before they cause thousands of people to die. Over here it's simply called Enma, but I can't seem to find the English name (it's not Hell Girl, though Names The Same).

I'm trying to remember the name of an anime. The plot was that there was a sort of hollow planet with the different kingdoms spread across the inner surface. In the center, one kingdom acted as the sun, revolving around and shedding light on each kingdom in turn. The sun was beginning to lose power, though, so the two tiny princesses of the sun kingdom had to figure out a way to revive it.
Any ideas?

I remember watching an animated show (dubbed in Korean, although I'm guessing it was Japanese) on VHS about a girl with some kind of magical hair ribbon/band (and perhaps magical red shoes?) fleeing from an evil witch of some sort. That's all I remember; I was trying to look up possible anime adaptations of The Wizard of Oz (because I distinctly remember red shoes playing a part) but came up empty.
I watched this show sometime in the late 1990s as a kid, not sure whether it was made earlier than that.

This anime had three girls as the protagonist, living in japan, they where chosen by the earth god or something like that, the earth god then manifested as a kaiju-like being that protected the girls.
The part that i remember of the show dealt with the japanese goverment passing a law that banned all over-50-feet-tall-beings from living in japan, so the army can attack the god/guardian.
The girls also were princesses of somewhere but i don't remember much of that, I think it was later on the show.

I’m looking for this fanfic that I just cannot find. It’s “Princess Tutu”, and it’s a jokey/funny fic about the times Fakir tried to write Duck into a human and/or make it easier for them to talk to each other/other.
It doesn’t go as well as planned. It’s just a bunch of funny scenes, like Fakir accidentally making them hear each other’s thoughts. All of them.
Stuff like that.
Does anyone know the one I’m talking about?

I'm pretty sure it's a very old anime (I watched it around 10 years or 13 years ago) in which there was a small boy *I think* is invited to a kingdom underwater led by a small girl *I think, again*. In the end of the movie, there was a volcano erupting (undersea). Maybe it's an anime rendition of 20000 leagues under the sea, because that's the movie's name translated to my native language (but then again, the translation sucks, so that's prolly not it)

I'm not too sure about this one. I THINK I have 2 of them. But for all I remember, they could be just one.
I'll treat them as two.
The main character starts off in the real world, which (If I remember correctly) is always shown as devoid of people. Whether this is the actual case or not is unsure to me. He finds something at his school that pretty much transports him to an alternate universe or something.
I distinctly remember a character who needed to be activated with a large key to the back. And she had a sister/counterpart that was better and more stronger than her in every way. They have a battle at some point. She also had a clone/extra copy of her, too If I remember correct.
There was also a female character that used fire for fighting.
At the same time. I kind of remember Mecha fighting in the real world too. Assuming this is a different anime, the real world was almost always devoid of people, too. And the main character would have to fight things in a mecha. It's not Evangelion, and I'm pretty sure it's not Gate Keepers, Macross or Gundam.
It's been killing me for a while now.

Well, I don't know what happens, but I have a picture of this girl from an Anime with brownish hair, red eyes and blood on her clothes and mouth. Her clothes are kind of like a school uniform...Link here to picture:

Ok everyone this is a BIG ONE, not one person I asked knows it and this is my last chance.. it is killing me!!
So this show has completely slipped my mind and I just recently remembered but I do have some pieces to give.
Ok so it was basically an island, like prehistoric times but the show started with a boy being somehow transported there by some random happening (I believe it might have been by sea). On the island it has a lot of weird inhabitants like a snail with hairy legs and heels (I think that is right), a little caveman or caveboy who would say things like "upa!" or "upapa!" (if it is not spelled like that then it was probably something similar) and he had a big appetite and was strong as ever and lets not forget dinosaurs. The main character was confused by it all but if I recall he was trying to get back to his home?
Some facts I am certain of: -The little caveman kinda looks like Baby Beel from Beelzebub only he has black hair and is not a baby
-The show was a bit random like Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo
-I saw it on demand on Comcast and I believe it may have been a FU Nimation show (because I watched it the same time that Nerima Daikon Brothers was on FU Nimation..)
So I hope someone can figure it out.. it is driving me crazy that I cannot remember... please help ;A;
P.S It is not Flint the Time Detective ( I do not know why people keep thinking it is..)
