openMystery TV Show... Live Action TV
Ok, this has bothered me for decades so I've got ask if anyone out there knows.. A black and white tv show I saw as a child. (would've been a rerun of some earlier show, bc I saw this mid-80's). Golly. I'll try to describe it right: The show was built around some sort of prediction or dream or something concerning a chandelier that would fall on a girl who dancing beneath it. All I really remember is that the main male character didn't take the warning seriously. Then last scene I really remember is there was a ballroom, someone shouting about the chandelier shaking. Then next thing you hear is a scream and the crash of the chandelier. That's all I've got. I've tried to search through Twilight Zones, Hitchcock, Climax! (TV series 1955-57), etc. Unfortunately, you can't find a synopsis on every show. Possibly from a Jane Wyman Fireside Theater? It was definitely black and white and one of those anthology-type of shows with a new story every week.
openIncredibly vague/specific TV show? Live Action TV
I'm 90% convinced it was TV because I remember looking at a fan wiki for it with reference to seasons. I'm really sorry about these vague details. I never watched it but it was recommended to me so I looked it up and now I can't remember the title (this was a couple months ago, it was a brief search).
The look seemed sci-fi/post-apocalyptic, definitely gritty. I recall references to warfare/gang wars of some sort, at least warring sides. The two characters I remember most vividly were a bartender/bar owner (?) and his gay lover. Both of them seemed the tough/masculine type and the lover was bald, and possibly a soldier/warrior of some point.
I'm looking for the actors' names but I can't remember the title of the show or the characters. Any help would be enormously appreciated, this is driving me nuts.
openlate 90s/early 00s tv show Live Action TV
I swear to god there was this show I watched as a kid where these two teen/young adults (siblings??) would like hang out and read stories and then they would like show up in the stories, usually like greek mythology and the like. It wasn't animated, and it had kind of a serious tone to it. It's not wishbone and it's not the magic tree house. Help?

openHaunted house parody gay couple renovating it Live Action TV
I’m starting to loose hope, this is a very old show I think it could even be the one episode. I was younge but I can still remember it. There was two guys and they were either renovating this house or they had bought it. They were talking into the camera like it was a kinda tv show I think? Um anyway it was this parody and just really funny. One part I remember was when they were showing the house and the paranormal activity started happening and the walls were bleeding and instead of freaking out about the ghost they were freaking out about it not being clean and having to call their friend to say they would be late to meet them. Like I know this was a show possibly one episode or a 30-40 minute thing but I can’t find it and it’s driving me crazy someone please help
openTV show with skull floating room to room in intro Live Action TV
Apologies if detail is sparse, but in the late 70’s as a small kid I remember going to my grandma’s. Some days she would have her TV on and a show would come on that I can best describe it started with a skull beginning to float off a shelf and through a room, perhaps to other rooms. Then after the show, the skull would float itself back to its original location. The show may have been black and white, and may have been much older than the era I was seeing it. I wish I could remember more. Does anyone have any idea what show this was? I don’t think it was a movie, I think it was a TV series?
openNight Court Episode Live Action TV
I'm wracking my brain and my google trying to find a very specific episode of (I think) Night Court that I saw as a kid, and at this point I'm not even certain that it wasn't a dream. Hopefully this is the correct forum for this...as you can imagine there aren't a lot of night court-specific forums on the web these days. From my memory of the episode Bull uses a trick guillotine of Harry's to decapitate himself just off screen while Dan watches. Later in the episode (perhaps the last freeze frame before the credits) Harry puts a box on a desk and opens it to reveal Bull's head in the box. Can anyone help me? Was this a thing that even happened?
openlive action kids show or movie Live Action TV
I've had this one scene in my mind for about a decade and I don't know what it's from. A character is in some sort of garden or forest and they pluck some type of fruit from a tree and it immediately grows back. I remember a distinct popping sound when it happens and magical "sparkles" in the fruits place as it reappears. I don't know what the character looks like but the hand was gloved like a Doodle Bop. I remember seeing this at my grandma's house back in the day and it's always stuck with me for some reason. Probably made in the 80s or 90s based on quality.
openName the show Live Action TV
I thought it was "This is Us" but I don't think it is. Women has a son named Jamal and introduces him to his father, the father is living on a houseboat. Eventually they get an apartment together. She is a dancer. The family doesn't like the father because they think he abandon the family when in fact the women never told him that he had a son.
openCanceled (I think) SF TV show Live Action TV
Hello people! A (good) couple of months ago I've seen the pilot of a show that got me quite intrigued, at least about its ending. There was this party at an office building celebrating the success of the guy that either went to another dimension or time-traveled, all was OK until some massive vortex/black hole appeared into the city, some of the characters were on the phone, then credits. I think that was the pilot and only episode, at least for the time being. Could anyone please help?
openBonfire Night Kid's show in the late 80's or early 90's Live Action TV
Me and my brother used to watch this bonfire night show when we were super young, but we both remember it really clearly. It was a kids show - we think it was about fire work safety - and it had people in suits dressed as fireworks. It was really scary and used to give us nightmares. One man was in a red and white striped tube costume, we called him roly poly man but we don't think that was his real name. We have been looking for ages but can't remember what it was called. it was early 1990's it was on TV, but it could have been out in the late 80's.
openSpace Mutants and Uploading Consciousness? Live Action TV
I need help finding these two tv shows/movies I saw years ago. I only saw parts of them and I can't remember if they were movies or part of tv shows. I think at least the first one was part of a show. The first one has sort of an Outer Limits vibe but I couldn't find it on the episode list (maybe it is and I just missed it?). I think I saw the first one in the '00s and the second one in the early '10s?
1) There is a spaceship full of human mutants who were exiled from Earth for being mutants. One of them is a woman whose abdominal skin is transparent, allowing you to see her organs. They travel to different planets looking for a home but have no luck. They are contacted by Earth and promised land in exchange for blood samples. Earth claims that the blood sample will help them find a cure/vaccine for the pathogen that is causing the mutations. The after some arguing, the mutants give Earth the blood samples. It turns out that Earth lied and actually used the samples to create more mutants to send to the ship as a solution to overpopulation.
2) In the future, Earth has a slave caste that they use for some sort of labour. The slaves are only allowed to go outside for a short time (15-30 minutes?) but not every day. When they go outside they have a tracker injected into them (every time for some reason). 'Outside' is just the roof of a building and the slaves think the injection is worth it just to feel the sun for a few minutes. One of the slaves escapes for a short while and when he is found he is charged with murder. The victim's dieing memory is used as evidence to convict him but I think it was falsified. He may have been convicted without proof and the memory was viewed afterward. Either way, he was sentenced to death and his consciousness was uploaded to a sort of central computer. I think there was a female investigator trying to clear his name but she was too late. At the end, she has a conversation with him where he told her that it was ok and he was part of something greater now.
openBLACK MIRROR EPISODE Live Action TV
Someone mentioned this on a comment section. A family beg strangers vie the internet to save their dying child. Does this seem familiar to anyone? Thanks.
openChildren's show about man who lives in a small magic box Live Action TV
OK, so this was a live action childrens show. I saw it in the early 80s, but those might have been reruns and it's actually from the 70s. I definitely remember watching at school, so it probably had some educational elements to it. There was an older man that had a magic box about the size of a Rubic's cube, and he had two children friends. The man and kids were able to shrink down and go inside the box, which was some kind of high tech computer or device or vehicle. They entered the box which a particular rhyme or chat that included something like "Magic Box 1 2 3" and I remember always being annoyed at my class mates for referring to the show as that, but it wasn't actually the name. The man also gave the children a riddle for them to solve to explain where he really came from, something about "at night I sleep on my bed under the bed" and the answer was that his civilisation actually lived in caves/hollow Earth under the *sea* bed.
openHorror/Mystery Anthology Episode from Late 70s/Early 80s Live Action TV
When I was a kid, I remember seeing a television series episode regarding an child's birthday, an evil/psychotic babysitter from next door, and a heroic clown doll. I recall that this series was one where they showed the "reveal" from the previous week's episode at the beginning of the current week's episode. I believe that it was around 9:00 or 10:00 Central, and this would have been late 70's or early 80's. We didn't have cable television, so I believe this would have been on the major 3 networks. In the episode, it starts out with the parents celebrating the little girl's birthday. I believe that she might have been deaf, but I'm not entirely sure. They give the little girl a clown doll/statue as a birthday gift. The parents then have a party or some other commitment, and the neighbor teenage girl comes over to babysit. She torments the little girl, and before she kills her, the parents come home. She informs the little girl that if she tells her parents about her being crazy, she will kill her parents. The next morning, the little girl wakes to police lights next door, and we see that the babysitter is dead. The camera then shows the clown doll's handkerchief with blood on it. It was kind of the anti-trope, as you don’t see many “good” incarnations of the doll/clown/automaton device. I've searched every conceivable horror/mystery anthology series, and looked through every episode, and I cannot find any reference to this. It's one of my earliest TV memories, and I would greatly appreciate anyone that has information to share. Thanks!
Edited by shoptb2277openName of show I used to watch years ago!! Live Action TV
I have been searching for years and can not find anything. There used to be a tv show I watched that was placed in kind of like a rundown city. One of the main characters was a male with blond hair I think and the “bad guy” was bound to a wheelchair and there were twin sisters on the show. I remember on episode the guy in the wheelchair was in a dream or simulation and had working legs and was swinging on a swing set and the main character guy came to talk to him in the dream. I have been dying to try and figure out what this is but I can not seem to find it.

I remember when i was a kid there a spanish sitcom about a group of kids ( played by adults) went to school and tried to make everything a laugh. They had a mean old teacher who would hit them with a ruler and occasionally a principal would show up and try to set everything straight. This was a spanish sitcom so i dont really expect any answers.
