This is fairly recent, and I've only ever seen one episode, but...
In the episode, the stereotypical Manly Man father wants his geeky son, who he thinks is not Manly Man enough, to hang out with the high-school football star, who turns out to in fact be gay

Actually, this was a commercial and I’m trying to remember what the product is it’s advertising. I think it was from the 1980s sometime. All I remember was it took place in Hawaii and you had one or more men in native garb blowing on conch shells as a chorus sang the words, “Cocoa butter!”

I've been bothered by this one for awhile. I think it used to air on Nickelodeon. It was a live action show about this family who was driving, but then an earthquake sucked them up into a land of dinosaurs and what-have-you. I think they end up living in a tree house.
I've asked around, and people seem to remember it, but can't remember the name.

A kids TV series shown in the UK, I believe on BBC 1 at the very end of the 1980s. It was in the style of a choose your own adventure type book where they presented options of how the story was to proceed towards the end of the episode and people could write/phone in and vote and they went with the most popular vote for the next episode.
I remember very little else (I was 6 or 7 I think), other than it being a fantasy/sci-fi ish setting, possibly with some form of evil computer. All I remember well was missing the conclusion as I had to go to the circus with my parents!
Its been bugging me for the last 20 years! Any help would be greatfuly received so I can put my mind at ease by watching the last episode

There's this show that was on british television when I was very little, in the early 90s... It's a classic example of the Time Stands Still trope, as the entire plot revolves around a kid who has a magic stopwatch to stop time. Amongst some of the things he did was leave post it notes on drivers' dashboards telling them to keep to the speed limit. It sounds like a really awful show now that I say it like this, but I've been looking for it for a while... I'm sure it was a show and not a movie...

A series of docudramas Discovery Channel/The BBC produced dramatizing several events, mainly historical disasters and hypothetical 'doomsday' events.
Included ones about the sinking of the Lusitania, the eruption of Krakatoa in 1885, the last day of Pompeii in 79 A.D., one about the super-volcano under Yellowstone national park erupting, and one where another extinction-level asteroid hitting Earth.
It would be appreciated if someone could find me links to where I could watch them.

I'm not looking for a show, but for an episode of Doctor Who. It was with the Fourth Doctor, though I only saw one scene. The Doctor walked into this.. cave-y prison thing. There were a couple of guard-looking types, I don't think they were human but I'm not sure. Some of them might of been. He was all flustered about something, I think. Then this alarm or siren goes off and the Doctor is like "There's a ringing in my head!" Then a woman (looking at the character sheet, I think it was Leela) walked in and he said the same to her. People kept coming in and every time someone did he said "There's a ringing in my head!" That's all I got. Anyone?

Actually, there's two I'm looking for. They were both on Nick in the 90's and they were both game shows.
One started off with 8 teams getting across this moat or something in various ways. The four that made it across first were told some story by a talking, Aztec-looking head, and the stories were always about someone in history. Those teams would answer questions and the two that answered the most got to do these challenges. The team that got 2 out of three went on to this obstacle course to get something and bring it back.
The second one had a guest star that had done something cool and a panel of Nick celebrities had to guess what it was. When they had guessed a word, the word would pop up on this giant head. They had 3 rounds to guess the guest star's secret, or else the guest star would go home with a truckload of prizes and a trip to somewhere.

Probably a very long shot- I thought this was an episode of Misfits Of Science, but this plot isn't listed in That Other Wiki's episode synopses. Whatever the show was (sometime in the mid-80s), this was an unusual episode where the main characters were taking part in a LARP, with a Dungeons And Dragons theme. I think I remember something to do with a poster of Albert Einstein, which had a microscopic dot on it that was a clue when blown up to full size.

This one is a commercial for motorcycles. A biker is riding down the subway, a train is coming at him, he goes up the stairs into New York City sidewalks, the helmet comes off, and—- it's a woman.
And yes, I know it was mentioned on Mad Men, but it was a real thing many years later...or earlier...you get what I mean.

I remember a Hallmark presentation in India. It was a sci-fi. It was about travelling through multiple universe. It wasn't time travel, so the group used to end up in same year, same time in another universe on earth itself. The show was about weird encounters the group of people travelling have. I remember only couple of weird encounters. In one of them, the world hadn't found vaccine for the polio yet and many are crippled with the disease. Another was, where they end up in a society which had more cognitive games then physical games. I think I remember them playing a game of chess with 12 men/women?
I guess interesting take away from the show was how it is only just a matter of chance that we see world as it is and not in any other order..
I remember two main characters.. a teenage boy and a professor..

I half remember this insane show that used to be on CBBC. Detail are sketchy at best, but it centered around this one guy that lived in a tower or something, and who's catchphrase was moving his hand and making a high pitched "A HA!" like an old car horn. I think there was one episode called 'Going going gone' where something was auctioned at the very end, and another episode where the guy and his friend were being attacked by a 'bread snake'.

Not a show, but an episode... I vaguely recall watching a Hogans Heroes episode that involved the gang picking up a suitcase bomb, or some such thing, in a hotel, and then Hogan having to disable it, having instructions radioed in, and being told that he needed to do one of two things to the bomb- twist the handle left or right?- with one setting it off and the other disabling it, no one knew which was which. I've looked at the synopses on the DV Ds and none of the episodes sounds right. If I could at least find out what else happened in that episode, or where the bomb came from, it might help...

Does anyone remember this kid’s show? It was called Candle Cove and I must have been 6 or 7. I never found reference to it anywhere so I think it was on a local station around 1971 or 1972. I lived in Ironton at the time. I don’t remember which station, but I do remember it was on at a weird time, like 4:00 PM.

Song that plays in The Sarah Jane Adventures episode "Lost in Time", where Clyde pretends to use a mobile phone as a bomb to unsuspecting Nazis. What's playing from that phone?
Also, made a mistake. Medium should be "Music", technically.

I remember this commercial, and the only solid thing I remember about it is that a guy goes through a series of experiences, among them, he's underwater, and sees a beautiful woman that turns into some kind of octopus thing.

I think the show was from Nickelodeon and was early 90s. It took place on an island or in a tropical jungle-like place. All I remember is a bunch of kids walking around the jungle and there was a horse running loose that they might have been searching for. For some reason, I want to say at least one person had an Australian accent.

I remember watching a few scenes of this show some time in the 90s - it was American or possibly Australian and I think it was for kids, but maybe not. It was about a family who were being hunted down for some reason - I think because the kids were somehow special? - by a guy who had the power to see through other people's eyes and possibly control them. The family had at least two kids, and the mother had short blond hair was was kind of badass (I remember her taking on one of the villain's minions in a fight). The villain had a daughter who was a bit of a creepy child but who was for some reason living with the good guys. In the episode I was watching, the youngest child in the family was given a baby doll to replace some treasured toy that she had lost, and then the whole family had to leave the town they were staying in by boat because it wasn't safe any more. At this point it was revealed that the villain's daughter (who had been left behind) had the same power as her father and used it to see through the doll's eyes.
It could also have been a film but I'm pretty sure it was a TV show.

When I was a little kid I used to have a video of a stop-motion (I think?) kid's show, made in England. I can't remember the name or the characters' names but I remember a few details — it was about a bunch of.. kitchen things that lived on someone's shelves in a kitchen. One of the characters was a coo-coo bird, who ate rat poison on one episode and one was a teabag called 'Old Bag' who lived on the top shelf in a teapot shaped like a house and all the other characters were afraid of her. Anyone know it?

Hi there, I'm knew to this site but hope you can help...
Being a kid in the early eighties, I remember watching one of those half hourly action series with the usual cliffhanger ending. Unfortunately all I can remember is that in one episode there is a person on a motor-bike trying to outrun this mass of water behind him in a tunnel. I'm trying to hunt down this series and thought it was called something along the lines of The Red Tunnel or The Red Circle or something like that - can anyone please help??? I'm sorry I can't offer any more info other than I think it may have been on BBC-2 and was shown early evening. I also think it was in black & white but can't be certain.
Thanks so much to anyone that can offer any help...
