It was a live action tv show that I watched when I was young, in the 90s. There was a man who would draw pictures, or teach you how to draw pictures, or something. I remember him making a person out of a 1.

I have looked all around the Internet, and finally ended up here. I half-remember a cute little tv show that came on in the late 1990s/early 2000s, either on PBS or on Nickelodeon (probably) about a magic toy store (?) in an area that reminded me of New York City. The main cast included a guy who wore a hat, a puppet sailor (?) and a mouse.

This show was about a guy who was placed in suspended animation or something, and when he woke up, aliens were invading Earth. Can't remember the title, was similar to Halo.

When I was very young, I think this was the early to mid-90s, I remember seeing a couple episodes of a sitcom of an African-American family. I don't remember anything in particular from the episodes I saw, but the thing I remember most about it was a promo that the network kept showing in which the mom says to her son something like, "Think of this house as your country, and your bedroom is your capital." Then she walks away and shouts, "To the capital! See ya!"

This was a Discovery Channel Movie/Documentary roughly 7 years ago. It was about what would happen if a meteor struck the Earth.
There was one guy who survived by hiding in a bomb shelter, and gathered a group of dogs to pull his sled. Eventually he ran out of food and the dogs abandoned him. Then he realized that he had accidentally traveled to the impact site, and it was implied he was going to die there.
It was also following the lives of some people who hid in tunnels in France or England.
If anyone could tell me what the name of this was, I would greatly appreciate it.

Bit of a long shot, but anyway - about 5 years ago, one of the UK terrestrial channels had a trio of "documentaries" sort of in the style of Walking With Dinosaurs, which were basically CGI mockups of how life might have evolved on other planets. One planet had giant sky whales. They occasionally had little clips of real scientists talking, just to prove it wasn't completely far-fetched, but mostly it was all CGI and looked at ecosystems and things like that like a nature documentary would.
I just cannot remember the name, which is a shame as I wouldn't mind trying to see if I can find it again.

This is a weird one, because I know the people who did it- Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart, but I can't find the clip I'm thinking about, so I think I might be going off. >_>
Stephen is Jon's bastard elevator baby. Somehow.
That's all I remember... Only now I can't find it anywhere. I thought I was connected to it through this website, but... >_>;;
EDIT
Nevermind, I managed to find it here
, so I know I'm not crazy. >_>;;

This is very vague, and I may of mixed up other shows with it, I saw the preview for that new show "Terra-nova" and I think I remember watching something kind of like it (maybe?) I know it was live action, possible on the sci fi channel in the 90's set either on another planet or back in time, possible a family as the main characters, and I really think there was a short weird looking dinosaur creature that was the main characters pet possibly, this is seriously driving me nuts, and I've spent a few too many hours randomly searching key words of this show with no results!

I've been trying to remember this show for years now. It's a sci-fi teen drama about a girl, either from space or from the future, now trapped (I think) in the 80's/90's. She has got a decorative dotted line across her forehead, right above her eyebrows, and hangs out with some kids from the present (80's/90's) whom take care of her. I think the main character from the present might have punk-inspired hair-do. The kids from the present help her hide from some bad guys (I think). The place she originates from is peaceful, and people there dress in white. At the end of each episode a plasma globe is displayed while end credits are rolling over the screen. I watched the show some time between '92-'97, but cannot remember title or production year. Please help :)

I remember watching this tv series in my first grade or second grade class between 1985 and 1987 although it might have been taped. What I recall is that there is spooky kind of house and these kids that go inside and get transported somewhere. The scene that's etched in my mind is a window being written on with an invisible hand the word HELP from the inside. It seemed to have a kind of sci-fi mystery flair to it. I've been trying to figure out what the series was for years. It might have been a PBS series.

I remember this Hong Kong TV series or Cantonese dub I watched with my mom over 11 years ago. I only remember it was set in some historical fantasy setting and the early parts of the show had the protagonist die of a heart attack from a practical joke played by his friends, and he works with some dude with a detachable head in the heavens to get back to earth.

Does anyone remember a show/movie/special that was on in the 1980s that was almost a one-man show about a guy in his apartment. He was supposed to be doing something like homework or a report, but he keeps goofing around and doing things like playing the drums or throwing pencils and having them stick in the ceiling. He's mostly talking to himself or the camera for most of the show, but other characters appeared from time-to-time. I almost think it was an original show from one of the movie channels. It has been driving me crazy that I can't seem to find anything on it anywhere!!

Looking for an episode of 7th Heaven. The only thing I can remember is that the Camdens are all mopping the floor while dancing to "You Ain't Nobody Until Somebody Loves You." Then some guy comes in (I don't remember his name, but I think he was an intern) to deliver something. He sees them all dancing and gives them an odd look. He delivers whatever it was and goes back to his car. He then screams, because the background music basically told him that Being Single Is Bad and He Should Feel Bad. It then turned out to be All Just a Dream. I've already tried Google and episode guides and can't find a thing.

Long shot since my memory might be off, but I "remember" there was a science show I think on PBS that I used to watch in the early 80's as a very young child. I don't think it was really aimed at kids like 3-2-1 contact, but I remember liking the show. I think the credits would roll over a background of lava spewing from a volcano. I think there were two host, one an older gentleman that you would see on something like masterpiece theater and I think the co-host was a woman (these details could be wrong, I just really remember the lava). The only episode I remember is a story about deep sea divers using a large bubble with an open floor and it talked about how they would have to spend days decompressing. Thanks for any help

Not sure of the year, but I remember watching a movie on something like HBO where a school bus full of kids and a teacher get stuck on a mountain or something. There is some crazy person(s) hunting them down and after fleeing for a bit they take a stand. The major scene I remember is they use their school supplies like compasses and sharpened pencils to make a bunch of booby traps and weapons and hold out in a cave or something. Any ideas?

In early 2006 I ran across a kid's show on the Trinity Broadcasting Network, so it was likely a Christian show, but possibly not. There was a boy and a girl who looked like Tweens or teenagers, they might have looked like clowns, and their hair was red, but not poofy. They were in a playroom and I caught in a segment that was claymation and had them dancing, then they went back into live action, and they said that was great and that they were going to play a game. Then this crazy looking dog who sounded sort of like Scooby Doo said "hide and seek?" then I think they just ignored him and then they said they were going to play Simon Says. They where always smiling and finishing sentences for eachother and acting like they shared a mind. It freaked me out so I changed channel. What was this Eldritch Abomination?

I am trying to remember more about a show that aired on MTV in the US in the very early 1990s. I want to say it was a short series that aired around the same time "Liquid Television" did, but I don't believe it was part of that show.
Filmed in black and white, it concerned the adventures of two guitar-playing rockabilly guys. The visual gimmick was that the show graphically resembled a mid-20th-century newspaper comic strip. All the characters were made up with outlandish, cartoonish hair and costumes, and the show made liberal use of various comic-bookish special effects.
Completing the visual absurdity was the fact that the actors didn't actually speak their lines; they just flapped their jaws like puppets, and the dialog was dubbed over them. Yes, I know at this point it sounds like a dream, but I must insist this is a real thing that I saw on my television on multiple occasions!

Trying to dig up a quasi-documentary miniseries from the late 80s or early 90s. It was themed around pollution, I think (this is what I'm least sure about) and starred William Shatner. He was sent around the world to see the effects of pollution by some sort of female-voiced AI computer with strong Buddhist influences. The computer included prayer wheels as part of its design and would ask Shatner to spin them in a way that was meant to insinuate that the computer got some kind of sexual gratification out of it.

There's a programme that I remember seeing years ago which I'd like to watch again but since I can't remember what it was called I can't find it. The program in question was a one-off (I think) and was a sort of mockumentary about what would happen if SETI picked up what was unmistakably an alien signal, proving that we weren't alone in the universe. Among other things, it had SETI sending a message back to where the signal came from and getting a reply a few years later.
