openChinese or Russian Historical Drama [RESOLVED] Film
There was a trailer I watched a year or two ago for an upcoming big-budget historical drama with steppe nomads (no, not Genghis). I think it's a Chinese production and a film, though it might also be Russian and/or a series. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
ETA: I think it's The Golden Horde / Золотая Орда
.
openCroc film Film
I remember seeing a movie once when I was young. I don't remember much about it other than a Crocodile was supposedly at the center of the plot. I do remember one scene and that was that at the end of the move there was a wedding and the bride did the usual Bouquet Toss, only for the croc to leap out of the water and catch the bouquet.
Now I have been trying to find it mostly out of curiosity.
openend of Horror Movie Film
A few years ago, I was switching channels on TV and I stumbled upon the Downer Ending of what seemed to be a supernatural horror film.
It has a young man visiting his father in prison. Then it turns out, that a demon took posession of the boy and then he kills the dad. The next scene reveals that the demons also killed the guards.
Cue end credits.
I'm kinda intrigued about the film because I missed everything else leading to that point.
openLittle Boy Chased By Crazy Man Film
A boy of about 10 is staying with a middle-aged man in a house during the winter. The boy is playing outside and sets a trap to catch a cat - it works. The boy goes inside the house and the man is busy makng dinner. In response to the boy coming into a room unannounced, the man says something like "what part of a closed door says to you 'come in'?". Another (younger) man enters the house. Seems to be the middle aged man's friend or relative. The younger man suddenly has a seizure and is on the ground convulsing, then he seemingly 'snaps' and starts chasing after the boy as if to hurt/kill him. The boy manages to elude the man and is hiding upstairs when he looks out of a window and sees a policewoman walking around outside the house in the snow. He calls out to her to help him but by the time she realizes, the psycho man approaches and attacks her and she falls down.

Edited by ToneeRhianRoseopenMovie about a salesman Film
The salesman character was a little slow and he hated to be pitied or helped in ways he didn't feel earned.
For example: at one point he got hit by a bus but refused a payout, citing that he was at fault for not looking both ways before stepping out into the street. Another was him discovering a regular customer had passed away and her kids were going through her things which led him to find out that she had a room full of stuff she'd bought from him over the years, implying that she had been buying things she didn't need to help him make his sales goals.
Occasionally there'd be a voice over from the main character telling a joke about salesmen, with the very last one having the punchline of the salesman in the joke itself realizing that he ended up in the wrong joke.
Edited by AkibaPurpleopenA specific older film Film
I'm looking for a film. It involves a pair of kids, a boy and a girl, stranded on an island by themselves. Early on, they had an adult, but he ends up being found dead. Both kids do grow up and use their skills to help survive for years on the island. They do eventually escape, and are found by the biological father of one of them. Also, they do end up having a baby while stuck on the island.
It's relatively old-ish, being either from the late 80s or early 90s, or possibly around the early 2000s.
openTrying to figure out what movie has this scene Film
Okay, so all i can remember about the movie was that it has a scene where a child hides in a pool and holds their breath while dead bodies and body parts fall in the pool and sink to the bottom. I think it’s some art house flick or something.

Edited by RAHDRONopenUncle Fester Enters Orbit in The Electric Chair Film
For some reason, I have this image in my head that I think is from The Addams Family movies - but apparently it's not. Basically, Uncle Fester is in an Electric Chair, which is turned on, and the voltage causes the chair to explode, sending it and Fester into the air - where the scene cuts to Fester seated in the chair, with the Earth in the background, before falling back down. My cousin also remembers something like this, but I don't actually think it exists.
Is there any scene, in anything, that depicts a character taking the Chair to the Earth's atmosphere?
openFriends steal a band's van and equipment for revenge, end up becoming actual band (solved) Film
I never actually saw this, but found a synopsis on a Wiki Walk and thought the premise was interesting: A group of young people go out to a local concert because the singer is related to one of them - said singer turns out to be becoming a Small Name, Big Ego because his band is beginning to become a local draw, and treats the main characters poorly. In a fit of anger, they decide to steal his van with all the band's equipment in it and just drive off with no destination in mind. The van breaks down a few cities away, and, needing money to get it repaired and drive on, they come up with the idea of pretending to be a band and conning their way into their first show. None of the "band" members have ever played their instruments before, and they had no time to prepare any original material, and it shows, but somehow they get paid and keep getting booked; gradually they get better at playing music and actually become a respectable band. The article mentioned that the Fake Band were depicted by a real one (who had to purposely play badly, then gradually get better over the course of the movie), and several real American indie bands appeared as themselves.

Edited by iniuramopenIRA movie that starts with an assassination and a gunfight Film
It’s a movie about the IRA, I remember a family at a table when all of a sudden some guy bursts in and shoots the dad at the table. In the next scene there’s a big gunfight with the IRA in a building and the military outside, and the IRA end up retreating. One of them is injured and pretends to be dead, but shoots a guy as he walks in. He surrenders afterwards, but gets executed by some guy who I think was wearing a suit. It could have not been a suit, but he definitely wasn’t dressed like a soldier.
openJapanese Short Film about a man trying to distract a suicide victim Film
I saw at a film festival a short live-action Japanese film. In it, a middle aged energetic man seemingly tries to cheer up a woman he doesn't know, who isn't interested. I think he does some magic tricks? It ends with her getting up from the bench and walking away.
He then howls in rage and the camera pans over to her shoes and reveals they were on a rooftop and he was trying to dissuade her from suicide. And failed.
openzombie comedy movie? Film
A zombie movie that I feel like was also a comedy. It had a decipherable plot that revolved around an infected city being cordoned off. It was interspersed with humourous news report sketch moments which discussed the progression of the disease. I think it is on Netflix (at least, in the UK).

a young girl (16-18 years old) with a short skirt bends over in a public place like a park or amusement park. the scene is on youtube but i can't remember.
