Edited by JimmyCakesetopenMaybe French movie Film
I've asked so many times about this film, I almost think I imagined it. The story starts with the protagonist, a woman who works in a travel agency. She meets a man who comes in to book some tickets. They fall in love, and eventually select an apartment and get married, somewhere lovely in the mountains. He drives off for some reason after the marriage down the mountain road which is full of switchbacks and there is a loud crash....yes, he has run off the road and is dead. She keeps working at the travel agency and is obviously very depressed. One day a man walks in and books tickets with another agency. She is stunned to see, it is her husband, who pays no attention to her at all. No one in the travel agency remarks on him. She follows him onto the streets and end up outside the apartment building they were going to live in. She sees a light go on in the apartment, and later, when he leaves, she goes up. The door is unlocked, so she walks in to see children gathered around the dining table. They recognize her as their mother and greet her. With a sense of total unrelaiy, she picks up the life she would have had if her husband hadn't died. This is all I really remember. The lead actress was someone who looked a little like Genieveve Bujold or had a lot of the same qualities. Did anyone else in the universe see this and remember the name? I think I watched it as a TV movie
openGuy pretends to be gynecologist Film
I saw a clip of this film on You Tube. A man (looked a bit like Ryan Reynolds) is in a hospital, and he's in disguise as a gynecologist. He's not doing it so he can look at lady parts, but because he's in hiding or on the run or something. But sure enough, a pretty young lady comes in for a checkup, and he has to bluff his way through it.
openHorror Movie Featuring Either Zombies or Aliens Film
When I was a kid I saw part of a movie where either zombies or aliens were hiding under the guise of being human, but when they were found out they peeled off their skin revealing hideous creatures underneath. This was the late 80s early 90s, but I feel like this movie might be older than that...as far back as the 70s to early 80s. I've been trying to find this movie for yrs, so any help will be appreciated.
openOld Movie (Animation) Film
I recall that when I was younger, I used to watch this movie/ program about a girl (I think her name was Maya). I do not remember much, apart from the fact that she end up "falling" into a world that existed inside a giant's umbrella. I remember that in this fantastic world she meets a kid who lost her parents in an accident, where they were flying in a hang glider expirience. So I remember that maya want to help this kid overcome her fear of flying. I also remember something about the giant almost closing the umbrella and destroying this world. Another thing about this Maya..is that I remember she weared a red dress whit a white apron and that she had a red magic ribbon.
openSwedish kids' movie with kids with swords in the countryside and a dead girl Film
I watched this in the early 2010s, I'm pretty sure it was in Swedish but might have been some other similar language. First there was a rich young girl celebrating her birthday and receives a sword and a dress, and talks about how she's going to Paris. But instead she gets taken to the countryside and is pretty disappointed about having to eat porridge for breakfast. Then she meets a girl who she thinks is her sister for some reason, and adopts a baby pig. The second girl's brother is angry about them pretending to be sisters and trips over the laundry she did, and says something like "Of course it took a while to wash them because you washed them with pig's piss anyway". At some point the first girl has a dream about a dead baby who went to the Island of the Dead where she appears as an older kid and talks about how she can't blow her own nose and burps. Then the girl and the other girl's brother become friends and she tells them the story with the dead baby. The other girl finds a sword and they clank swords and declare themselves sisters. Later the first girl's mother shows up and gives her cocoa and cakes but she refuses them as she only eats porridge now. At the end there's a montage of the kids doing stuff.

openLooking for a movie Film
It's a mix of Live-action film and 3D Animation that came out sometime in the early-to-middle 00's.
The story is about a boy around nine or ten years old who lives with his mother or grandmother (can't remember which one it was) in a large ranch, while his grandfather has been missing for a some time now. The woman keeps a wooden box with the grandfather's picture in it and throws in those paper slips from the wall diaries to count the days he's been missing.
The grandfather in question was studying a mystical race of tiny elf-like creatures that lived hidden under his yard. He even has an album of photos taken of them, which the woman shows to the boy. In fact, I remember the boy being like "woah, she's so beautiful" or something like that (I watched it dubbed, sorry).
Soon the boy somehow stumbles in the mystical kingdom and turns into one such creature himself. It turns out that the Really 700 Years Old applies to all of them - the girls is actually 900, the protagonists passes for 1000, and the girl's younger brother is "only" 300 years old (and looks like a satyr/dwarf from a Disney film for some reason).
Eventually, the boy finds his grandfather - who is imprisoned in there and has also been transformed - and tries to free him.
Towards the end of the movie there's a skin where they are using a straw to navigate through the puddles because the creatures are too tiny to swim.
Eventually, both the boy and his grandfather manage to make it home, back to normal.
Other details: The woman starts keeping a box diary for the boy as well. The real world scenes are in live action while the mystical kingdom are in CGI. The girl is the princess of her Kingdom and the boy falls in love with them. The house is in a massive field with dry grass and wheat.
Unfortunatelly, I've looked up and there are no examples on TV Tropes. Please, help!
openI don't even know why I want to find this one... Film
There was a movie that my parents saw at the movies that really upset me when I was little...
The movie mainly had black actors. Towards the beginning the main character I assume sees a girl on the street as he's riding by in his car and the following exchange rolls out:
"Hey, girl! What's your name?"
- girl ignores her*
There was a scene where the main character(again, I think?) was picking up a teenage girl (I think her name was Coco?)from school and later that night the girl said something that the guy didn't like so he slapped her in the face. Then the teen sees a guy in a car and goes over to flirt with him (complete with licking her teeth at him). Skipping ahead a bit, some shit goes down and the teenage girl ends up getting shot and killed.
There was also a scene at night where two guys are sitting in a car with a third who got shot in the eye.
There's also a mother that's addicted to drugs and goes into a room with a bent spoon on the table to shoot up, I believe? Later into the movie, the mother calls the main character to beg him to help her. Some of the dialogue that I remember is this: "There's no food in the house! The kids need clothes for school!" A bit after that scene(the part I remember the most),the main character comes over to deal with her, and eventually hits said mother in the face and her son comes in and tries to fight the guy saying "leave her alone!" The guy slaps him to the ground too. Some stuff is said/happens and then leaves. The mother is then seen comforting the boy. Afterward, the mother goes back to tie off again. The next scene we get a shot of her children watching TV until they hear a "thud" and then the boy gets up to investigate only to find his mother on the ground foaming at the mouth with him shaking her crying out "Mommy!? Mommy!!" while his sister is standing there crying.
I think that the last scene of the movie has someone being cremated in a casket...
Does anyone know what I'm talking about based on that description? Can anyone help me out? I wouldn't blame anyone if they couldn't...
openHomophobic Old PSA Film
Anyone know this PSA? It was from the 1950s or 1960s. I remember it being a lot like Boys Beware, except the protagonists were girls. It featured a mother lamenting that her daughter was "too close" to her friend.
Edited by Pichu-kunopenSome sort of Arabian Nights film Film
Back when I was a kid, there was a movie that I think seemed overly long that seemed to be Middle Eastern like Aladdin. It had a kid with like a desert rat (no not "street rat" it had some cute brown furry critter like this
◊), and it was I think live-action but not sure. It may have been an Aladdin movie but I dunno.
openA Sci-fi Flim Film
Many years ago I remember seeing some sort of sci-fi film. The only thing about the plot that I can remember was one space ship being on the run from a group of others. I think they were all the same kind of ship but the protagonist ship had blue engines while the antagonist had red. Every now and then the one ship would be able to take out one from the group. The only moment I can remember was when the protagonist were able to hide themselves (in a gas cloud or something) and get the jump on the antagonist and were able to destroy two of the ships for the price of one.

openAnimated film about a native American (Hiawatha?) Film
I watched an animated film sometime between 1994 and 2000 about a native American. I seem to remember it being called something like "The Legend of Hiawatha". It's not the Disney Silly Symphonies short, it had a mostly serious tone. What sticks out to me is that he film starts out with the protagonist (Hiawatha I suppose, unless I misremember the title) as a young boy. His mother prepares a chicken to eat. Afterwards he befriends a talking raven, and because the raven has wings like the chicken, he insists on calling the raven a chicken. Later scenes have him as an adult, and he has to journey to... a snowy land? Or up a mountain? To fulfill some sort of quest? I can't really remember what that was about.
openAnimated film about dragons Film
Sometime between 1994 and 2000 I watched an animated film that I seem to remember being called something like "The Last Dragon" or "Last of the Dragons". The protagonist was a human girl and I *think* that the dragons were able to shapeshift to hide themselves. I remember very little about it. It's not The Flight of Dragons.
openOld western Film
Okay, a Western film that I watched recently on tv and can’t remember the name of. It was indicative of the genre, because that’s why I stopped at the channel, but not very famous.
It opens with a slate explaining why Tombstone is called Tombstone, then a card parlor where an old man gets shot by the sheriff. His son then enters and kills the sheriff before riding off to his siblings’ mine. His brothers are the best shots around, and combined with the sister giving stern words, the men chasing the cowboy leave. The officials want to take the mine, so they plant a fake tax bill on the father’s body. Then an impersonator of Shotgun Kelly (I think) appears to help the family.
openmonster tv show Film
it was a sort of animal planet mermaids type tv show. it interviewed a survivor of a military unit that was attacked by a monster in an abandoned American town. the interviewer goes to the town and discovers an underground bunker.

It's a show about women struggling to survive after all the men leave for the war.
