open1970s video about road signs Film
1970s or early 1980s children's education video. It was this woman singing a light folk-sounding song about the meanings of various signs. One had a passage about "Stop, pay toll", and another had a line that went something like "The boys' room is the boys' place / To use the toilet or wash his face / Girls' room is the room for me / 'Cause I'm a girl as you can see." The end credits were placed over a sign that just said "End".
open(SOLVED) Movie About An Inventor, A Mining Machine, and Prison Escape Film
There's a movie I saw on TV years ago, and as I recall the film quality made it seem like it was from the 90's but it's hard to say.
As I recall, there was a young adult man who delivered papers or something, and he had built a machine onto his truck that folded the papers into paper airplanes and launched them at the houses. I seem to remember him being known as a sort of troublemaker, or at least not living up to his father's expectations.
At some point he and his sister, also an adult, struck off on a long car ride across a sort of desert, and while she was sleeping he wrapped a rope around the steering wheel and climbed out through the sunroof, and sat on the roof steering with the rope.
Eventually they ended up at some small town or something where there were miners, and he helped them by building a mining machine with a big drill. For some reason he ended up in jail, and they used the drill to bust him out.
And toward the end (pretty sure this is the same movie), he chained two police cars together.
Any idea what movie this is?

Can anyone please tell me the movies from the opening credits of Ernest Scared Stupid as seen here?
openSci-fi with weird creatures Film
It's a movie probably from the 90's or early 2000's, and the only thing I know is that its full of weird creatures. I think its about a cell or something that is making all this creatures grow. The best thing I can remember is the ending, when the main characters take a firetruck and enter the anus of a gigantic amoeba-like monster. No kidding. I really just want to remember its title.
openTeen/grown woman treated like small child by older parents Film
Possibly a Made-For-TV movie. Sorry I'm not giving much information. I was very young and this is pretty much all I remember.
It was a teenager or a young woman, with older parents, who kept treating her like she was still a small child. Her “I can’t take it anymore” moment came on either her birthday or Christmas, when she unwrapped their gift, and it was a doll. They acted like they’d given her something wonderful. They were very excited to give it to her. She was outraged.
Edited by BradyLadyopenOld movie musical Film
I once watched this old movie musical in which a woman with bright orange hair and wearing a bright green dress sings to a group of men about how movie theaters “these days” (the 50s/60s) need gimmicks to get audiences to come see the movies. Anyone know what I’m talking about?
openThe wooden legs are alive! Film
I could of sworn I’ve seen a episode of a series(possible it was beginning of a movie that I fell asleep too) where a character that resembled Jessica Lange from American Horror Story, had two wooden prosthetic legs that she wore and they were old school wooden style like rag dollish. I remember that once she was sleeping and the legs were not being worn, they would roam throughout the big home and do things that ranged from moving items inside the home to causing harm to others inside the home. I remember that the main character would treat these two legs as if they were her children and had names for them. I want to say that she might have been a dancer or performer of some sort before whatever caused her to loose her legs and she was bitter about it. I honestly thought I was watching a new AHS series with how the whole shows theme and production quality. I thought I watch the first episode and when I went to watch more I couldn’t find anything.
Edited by Looser352openNo Title Film
This could have been a TV show or a movie so I’ll post it in both threads. I would have seen it in the early eighties but I think the show itself was set in an earlier time, like 1930s or so. I remember a scene with a little girl holding a doll and signing to herself while sitting either on the edge of a parked train car or actually on the tracks kind of under the train. Then I think another train rolled toward her to couple with the one she was sitting on or under and her legs got crushed. The next thing I remember is she was in the backseat of a car with her head in her mother’s lap and the mother was crying and the girl was saying she couldn’t see (she was dying from blood loss). Really scared me when I was younger.
openGiant Movie Film Film
I'm trying to find an old live action film about giants. It may have been on the Fox network. It was like a ripoff of Borrowers, and trying to be like Disney Channel original movies, but it wasn't that. The normal sized humans go into the world of giants, get trapped there, hide, and the father giant becomes obsessed with destroying them and 'proving that little people exist.' The giants had big ugly noses. It came out in the 90s.
openEvil Teddy Bear Film Film
There are a lot of shows about evil teddy bears, when I search for them, but I'm looking for a specific one. The boy tries to throw the evil teddy bear away, in the garbage, but the bear says, 'so they thought they could get rid of me,' and comes back. I remember a scene where the teddy bear stuffs a sock in the boy's mouth and he's terrified but can't scream.
openIron Man 3 Film
At the end of Iron Man 3, Happy is watching an episode of Downton Abbey where and man and a woman are looking at each other while a woman walks towards them. What episode is that from?
openHuman Body Documentary Film
I'm searching for an old documentary I used to watch in school. I believe it came out in the 90s or early 2000s. It starts with a live action story of the human actors outside, but then switches to a CGI explanation of the body. There was an episode on memory loss where a man forgot who his wife was. Drawn Together did a parody of this in which Toot, became dehydrated and began to hallucinate, in which it showed a picture of what was happening to her brain as her cells lost water. The documentary did a similar episode on dehydration too, with the human actors lost in the desert, and a CGI showing what was happening to their cells as they lost water.
openrevisionist western - bodice ripping Film
Sometime during the 1971 to 1973, a scene on color TV showed inside a log cabin, a table, and a woman facing the camera. Then a cowboy approaching that woman from behind her back, wrapped his arm around her torso and then cupped her breasts followed by ripping her off her bodice only to deftly cover her breast before any exposure can occur.
I was shocked by this rather uncensored scene over TV airwave. I am guessing that this happened before FCC cracked down just not on 7 dirty words but TV rating as well.
My attempt to find the movie from various database was fruitless. Shocking scene, still remembered. I wonder if this is the original "bodice-ripping" that many romance writers draw their inspiration from.
Edited by illusive7openRecent giant staircase movie? Film
So my brother texted me this:
"Hey I have kind of a weird question. Did we watch a movie together a while ago where the main character was seeing a therapist or doctor of some sort and they had to climb up a giant staircase to get to the doctor’s office?
The staircase was one of those semicircle kinds, very fancy looking.
Maybe it wasn’t in the theater but it was a fairly new movie"
He thought it was I heart Huckabees but he isn't sure and I suggested it might be an Alfred Hitchcock movie but he doesn't think so.
Any help will be appreciated!
openTv film about wishing Film
I think I saw it on Disney Channel or Fox Family, 1999-2000ish. There were two sisters, the younger of whom wanted to wish upon a star, but it was daytime. Older sister suggested she wish upon the sun, since it's a star. She does so wearing sunglasses and recites the rhyme "star light, star bright, first star I see today." There was a scene afterward where a high school boy is getting bullied because someone snuck a Barbie doll into the back of his bookbag.

openAsian shallow hal? Film
So I remember this chinese and or korean movie where a guy gets into an accident and now ugly people look pretty and pretty people look ulgy to him. He falls in love with an ugly beggar woman thinking she's beautiful. I remember one scene in particular where the guy got his eyes fixed oversees and when the woman meets him at the airport he passes her by because he can't recognize her.
Thanks in advance!

There was a short trailer, more of a teaser, really, at the beginning of a movie I saw in theaters when I was about four (1998). It’s one of my most clear and vivid childhood memories. It consisted of various shots of a large starship of some kind, floating through a starless void, with some ominous voice over about “my father” and “leaving Earth.” I’m absolutely convinced that this was an early teaser for Titan AE, but I can’t find it anywhere. I don’t doubt that it’s because the movie was a flop due to poor marketing, and so any such media would have been destroyed. Still, there’s a chance it was for another movie. Does this sound familiar to anyone else?
