There was a film I saw some time ago that was 90% of the time about a girl being stuck swimming in the middle of the ocean, with some shots from underwater showing fishes, etc, swimming around. She was rescued in the end. I know that the movie was very low-budget, so it's probably obscure. Oh, and there was no score to it. I also remember something about it being one-shot filmed by amateur film makers.

I'm looking for the name of a live-action standard thriller-type movie. Terrorists bomb a ferry or something. Standard hero-type guy is brought to a secret government agency whose tech guys have developed a Google Earth-type model of the entire world (with people walking around in real-time and the ability to zoom into individual apartments and such). This program can only look exactly three days into the past (no rewinding or pausing), so the hero helps these guys follow the train of events that would lead to identifying the terrorists.
Later, the hero realizes that the tech guys have been lying to him—what they're looking at isn't a program but rather an actual window into the past. Ignoring the time paradoxes that may follow, he convinces the tech guys to send him back in time so that he can prevent the bombing from ever happening. Hero goes back in time and succeeds.
What is the name of this movie?!

In the mid-80s, there was a movie with a pair of cops (one man, one woman). As part of an assignment, the woman has to enter an amateur night at a strip club. The guy partner tries to be "helpful" and has a lot of their cop buddies show up to root for her. Later in the movie (I think), a killer shoots the guy and for about 15 minutes, the audience thinks he's dead, but just at the right time, he shows up and saves his female partner. Any idea what that might have been called?

An animated movie that looked a little like something out of the Disney princess series. Set in medieval times, it was about a brunette woman and a blind man who were travelling towards a specific location. They were accompanied by a dragon with two heads (each with it's own appearance and personality) and some sort of small mechanical/metallic creature that looked a little like an anthropomorphic axe.
I remember there was a point where they needed to cross a specific area, and the man told her to go on without him, since he thought his blindness would slow the trip down.
Also, there was a scene earlier in the movie where one of the dragon-heads talks about romance and gets so caught up in his speech that he kisses the other head as an example of something. Realizing what happened, the two immediately begin spitting and gagging in disgust. There was also a scene where the characters were sliding down different tunnels and ended up falling out of the same one.
Oh, and at the end of the movie the dragon was separated into two different dragons as per their wishes.
Any guesses?

Country: Britain
Genre: Supernatural Mystery, Detective, Thriller
Year: Late 90s or early 00s.
Story: the plot centers on a police detective who's trying to catch a serial killer. The protagonist witnesses the death of an old woman who happens to be a medium, and gains her abilities as the result. He is then contacted by the ghosts of the killer's victims, and begins pursuing the killer with their help.
Some random elements: the process of entering the afterlife is depicted as climbing a ladder; the killer's victims are predominantly women and children; the killer is revealed to be the protagonist's boss; one of the ghosts aiding the protagonist is a dead lawyer, another one is a victim of the WW 2 bombings.

I remember hearing about this one film. It opened with someone (possibly the main character's dad) dying. What really makes it stand out in my opinion was that it's trailer appeared in a circa 2006-2007 Apple developers conference. I also remember an actor in the film saying that it "began with an ending and ended with a beginning." Any suggestions?

Fairly certain it's film. Almost positive it's 90's. Might have some magic in it, but I may be wrong about that. Part of the plot is a family's (I think just the main boy and his mother) financial trouble. Has a buried treasure search feel to it (I think...). The only part I can really remember is near the end... basically the ending. The boys skateboard has a mirror (or magic) on the bottom which leads to a "Eureka Moment" when seeing the water tower in the mirrors (or magic) reflection. Turns out there's a secret stash of... if I remember correctly, gold inside. Not much of a water tower, more of a cash flow tower... ...Bad-um tiss... Yeah, that wasn't funny... so sue me, I'm tired. Anyway, finding this hidden treasure works to fix the financial issue and happy ending! Yay!
So... Anyone got a title for me?

Hi, I've put the request in the Lost and Found, as I'm pretty sure there must be a Trope for it, but I have this clear image of a film in my head and I just cannot get to it: In my mind, the Hero, alone or with other people (loved one, work colleague, very rich work employer, etc.), is hacking and cutting through the Jungle/Bush/Rainforrest with his machete/knife/bare hands to finally come out on a great wide open plain where you can discern in the distance a village. Any idea from which film this might come from? Thanks!

Back in the nineties, I saw part of what I think was a movie. The main character was a young preteen or maybe teenaged girl who was for some reason walking the world on her own (maybe she was looking for something or someone, I don't know).
In this world (alternate Earth?) the life energy of people can be extracted (it looks like a bluish substance). Some people use it to gamble while playing some sort of virtual reality game (they sit down in a chair surrounded by some sort of machinery and a helmet, I think) where they virtually fight. The winner receives some of the life energy from the loser.
When they "absorbed" the life energy, the person would grow younger, while giving up life energy made them look older.
The scene I remember had the girl wanting to participate -or had participated- in this virtual game, but an older man told her it wasn't worth it and tried to dissuade her.

Asian martial arts film I partially saw in the mid-80s on television, so it's most likely early 80s. As I recall, the story starts off with a serious guy who I assumed (in my little kid's point of view) is a ninja. He may have a love interest or a wife; he is after someone who may be an old master who may have wronged him or his family (or maybe his clan or political group). He sets sail to find that person. With that part being serious, there is a Mood Whiplash when the movie then focuses on the antics of a young man who seems to live under the tutelage of his master who may be his uncle. I didn't get to watch the rest of the movie, but from what I saw in the commercials, both men would eventually face off each other. I remember them fighting with swords, and then something would make them stop and turn their heads on it, swords raised. That something may be the Bigbad; maybe the one the 1st character is truly after? From the differences I noticed between the styles of both men, I assumed the 1st one is Japanese, hence the ninja attire, while the other is Chinese, learning Kung Fu. The 1st character may have been sailing from Japan to China, and maybe the 2nd character's uncle is his intended target. Anyone who got to see this Asian movie let me know. I'd like to see it again someday. Thanks in advance!

It was a TV movie, I'm pretty sure it was on Nick. This kid belongs to a superhero family, but he doesn't have any powers, so he fakes it. Upon seeing Sky High I remember thinking it was a LOT like this, without the "You don't need powers to be a hero" aesop, but searching google (or Sky High's page for an expy listing) yields nothing. Anyone remember?

Longest of long shots here.
Japanese/Hong Kong movie (90% certain it was Japanese) which was made in the eighties. It was about a female ghost taking revenge on a guy, not really a horror story but more a drama since the ghost was fairly communicative. The tagline was: "Hell hath no fury like a spectre scorned". At one point she screams and makes every pane of glass in a skyscraper fall out and shatter.
If anyone can tell me what this was I'd be ever so grateful.

A movie that involves a preteen girl somehow finding a small monkey and secretly keeping it as a pet. There's a scene where she has the monkey hidden in her backpack while at a store, and the monkey's Sticky Fingers get her in trouble for shoplifting, so her parents are called - she takes the rap rather than having to reveal the monkey to her parents, and drama ensues. I vaguely remember a joke that either involved a character mishearing "Capuchin"
as "cappuccino" or else the main character using it as a Lame Rhyme Dodge.

An Asian martial arts film, kind of humorous.
One of the characters, a young boy, is training under his father, who orders him to stay in a sort of squatting position until the sun sets. A group of children bully and taunt him, but he refuses to move. Once the sun set, he announces that he can now move, and then proceeds to kick their butts.
Another of the characters, a woman who appears to be a thief of sorts, is confronted by a man, who tells her to surrender. She asks, "Oh, yeah? You and what army?" The man signals to somewhere behind her back and responds, "That army." The woman doesn't believe him but takes a quick glance behind anyway, and does a double-take. The camera then shows that there is indeed a small army at the ready just behind her.

Okay, this one has been haunting me for a few years. All I know is that it's about a family that receives a package one day and it turns out to be a robot. I think it stared that little girl from those old Coca Cola commercials (which aired in the early 2000s I think) if it isn't her it's someone who looks a lot like here. The robot looked kinda of like the ones from I, Robot
.
