openanime taking place in a cafe, small cast, art style is not chibi/loli-like Anime
I think there was a boy and two girls as the main characters. The boy was a chef, he was blonde iirc but I'm not sure about that. The anime has a page here (yes I know how little this narrows it down).
openA sequel of a 80s-ish anime where the heroic group of the old show is now the antagonistic force. Anime
So this old show had the "good guys" fighting against an evil organization
Where the new show had a new cast having to survive an imperial rule made from the "good organization"
The plot twist is that the bad organization took over the good organization and started messing things up.
openAnime antagonist can ignore all restrictions and succeed at anything Anime
I am looking for an anime that has a character (main antagonist) that can:
Ignore any restrictions, requirements,s or limits at the end of the series, thanks to an ability called 'absolute' (in the sub version).
In essence, it lets him ignore all requirements, limitations, restrictions, or anything, for any action to succeed.
If he tries to stab a rock to destroy it, it will be destroyed.
If he tries to pull the sun away, it will move.
If he tries to attack last week, the attack will travel through time to cause harm.
The MC may be named Scorpion.
It is not really a fight-driven anime and was more about the 2 main character's points of view on power. the guy with absolute believed that the absence of all limits was the answer to infinite power, while the main character felt it to be the ability to use any power. They never really fought to kill, but rather prove they were the stronger of the 2 methods.
I am having this discussion in another subreddit and the person can't remember the name of the anime.
Thanks.
Edited by FullmetalRenkinjutsushiopenCharacters similar to Arche and Platinum dragon lord in Overlord. Anime
Does anyone know similar characters in other stories (it doesn't matter if it's books, video games or other) to Arche and Platinum dragon lord in Overlord? I mean both in the premises and in the ending they had.
Edited by tropescholaropenGuy Destroys Organization then Tracks it Down Anime
Pretty sure it was an anime. Anybody remember an anime or show where in a season finale, the protagonist takes down an evil organization, but then it turns out the organization already spread across the world in different locations? And he gets in his car, turns on a GPS, and starts driving to the next location, making it his personal mission to take this organization down? In all locations?
openRecent anime film Anime
A Japanese animation film that came out a few years ago. The plot is something along the lines of a girl breaking up with her boyfriend to take care of her younger sister after their parents die, and years later she reunites with him. Also, I want to say the title has the word "blue" or "sky" in it.
openTrying to find anime Anime

openLooking for a show that aired on Nickelodeon in the 80s Anime
There were a group of children traveling in a ship that looked sort of like the war machines from War of the Worlds without the neck. In one episode, they actually meet Alice from Alice in Wonderland, and she manages to shrink their ship by "feeding" it one of the cakes from her story that read "Eat Me."
openSaw this while flying Singapore Airlines in June 2003. Anime
I'm not sure if this is a Japanese anime, since I saw this on Singapore Airlines in-flight entertainment in June 2003. My guess is that it's from Asia, but I could be wrong.
The protagonist was a boy who lived with his mother and younger sister who were always mean to the boy.
I don't remember much of what the protagonist looked like, but I think he was bald with a large, round head. Both the mother and sister had fair skin and black hair.
I remember parts of the opening (or closing?): the mother would dance around in the bathroom while getting toothpaste everywhere, and then it would cut to the sister also at a bathroom sink, suddenly turning around and doing a jig while wearing a huge grin.
The art style, if I remember correctly, was somewhat reminiscent of George Shrinks.
This is all I remember, unfortunately. Hope someone can help me finally figure out what this was!

openNo Title Anime
An anime series with the themes of short horror stories laced with comedy I distinctly remember the first episode as one of the two protagonist a boy with blonde hair is an exchange student from England the other heroin is a girl with glasses and hair which I can only describe a strawberry like it's pink and has little dots in it thanks Also every eodode there is this cartoony methical Japanese monster who talks about Japanese nonses
resolved An anime that starts with a nameless student getting ran over Anime
I only saw the first episode, after which I got sidetracked by another show that was coming out at the time, and now that I've been reminded of it, I can't for the life of me remember what the series was called or what the actual premise was.
All I remember is that it heavily involves (if not outright revolves around) an Absurdly Powerful Student Council, and, early in the first episode, there's a scene where a random student is shown taking some apparently incriminating photos, only to be unceremoniously ran over by someone who was either a member of or was hired by said Student Council, all so they could retrieve and destroy said photos.
Edited by HyperKunoichiopenViewed in the mid to late 1990s during summer in Indiana Anime
The show had heroes who had suits and powers similar to water, fire, wind, rock.. there may have been a fifth one. The two episodes I remember had one hero saving another hero from some bad guy. I remember in one episode, it took place within a sewers. I don't recall a big back story or breakaways to the other heroes during an episode.
Also, we did not have cable. So it had to be on one of the 5 public channels (CBS, ABC, NBC, PBS, or Fox). The show seemed to air at a weird time, like Sunday afternoon. Ronin warriors honestly seems close but seems to not quite fit my memories. Like I said, this was shown in the mid to late 1990s in Indiana during the middle of the year.
I have tried to see if I can find any TV schedules but I haven't been able to figure it out.
Thanks for any suggestions and your time.
openFinding a mecha anime Anime
I’m looking for one mecha anime I might have saw in my childhood. Here are the details I remember:
• It was made no later than 2006.
• It was released on VHS.
• One episode had a anthro crow piloting a crow plane as the Monster of the Week. The crow plane strafed something with machine guns. The background of the strafing scene was mostly blue, IIRC.
• I am not sure if this is the same anime, but it had a toy in which a Transforming Mecha moves on a rail, transforming on its own. It might have transformed into a vehicle used in construction, but I am unsure.
Edited by TroperN912openSOLVED: Anime Where A Girl's Older Sister Commits Suicide Anime
Posting this for a buddy of mine, this is how he describes what he knows:
"there's this manga/anime where there's this girl
and her older sister killed herself
so the younger sister goes and meets her older sister's friends (who have graduated from high school now), including the older sister's ex and whatnot and finds like videos that they (older sister and group of friends in like a club) recorded together trying to be funny
this isn't like the whole plot i don't think
but was a part of it"
He says it could be a manga, too, if that helps at all. Thanks!
UPDATE: He remembered it, it was SSSS Dynazenon for anyone who was wondering!
Edited by Drewmanopen[Solved] Manga about an effeminate boy (not Otomen) Anime
It was a short story (I don't think it was a one shot though). Shoujo or slice of life. The FL was complaining about having just being dumped by her boyfriend when she meets the ML (in a mall? I think they were both shopping for something like polish or lipstick). They recognise each other: they were in the same kindergarten (or elementary) and she used to bully him. He is now super tall, super beautiful and super into feminine things, he likes fluffy things and makeup. They get together and the relationship is a bit one-sided at the beginning: she is rude and spoiled to the point that he actually calls her out on it. He tells her that that's why all her boyfriends leave her after a month and she admits she actually knows it but still wants to be treated like a princess. I can't remember when but at some point it comes out ML is actually strong (judo I think) and saves FL. It comes out he was already quite strong when they were children, he let her bully him because he was already in love. Anyway in the end the relationship becomes a bit more equal and they spend times together chatting about beauty salons and pink nails or something. Please help me, I've been looking for this thing for years.
So I finally found it (10 minutes before the new year). I don't know if posting it here brought good luck or if it's because I ate something I had never eaten before (my grandma used to say to make a wish every first time I ate something). If anyone is interested it's "Love Maniac". I remembered the cover being off putting and it is, don't worry it has nothing to do with the art stile of the manga. Happy New Year
Edited by WisteriaLadyopenNo Title Anime
it wasnt an anime as its known now but an animated kids show it was set around a bunch of kids in the medieval time in a renaissance type castle the characters that i remember where a fat girl with ginger hair that spoke like the looney toons tasmanian devil another girl who was the daughter of the king but liked hanging out with these peasants a bald kid who seemed to be the butt of all the jokes and a skinny old man who was always tied up in a jail cell
i remember one episode in particular where to impress her dad the main girl i mentioned before dressed the bald kid up as an eagle in the competition being held at some point the kid was offered a worm he had to eat and the weird girl previously mentioned ate one too because why not
was similar to a rugrats type style in a way
i watched this show when i was young in 2010/11
Edited by Gobononoopenguy with wire powers Anime
looking for a manga where the mc had the power to create wires that he could make elastic and was in a tournament or hxh style entrance test one of the first challenges was to fight a guy with a bag or helmet over his head and where awarded points depending on how hard they attacked him but if he hit them there points got set back to zero and "draw" the word they could say to bank their points made him go berserk

So there was this show that I watched on Netflix when I was a kid but I don't remember almost nothing about it. What I remember is that there where 4 protagonists, and they each represented a element and their hair color was based on that element. I only remember 3 characters, the main protagonist, who had red hair, and the edgy rival character, who had white hair. And then there's the only character whose name I remember, his name was Vortex, and I think he was meant to be a kind of bully character. So, if anyone knows which show this is I would be really thankful!
Edit: I managed to find out that the show1s name was "Heroes: Legend of the Battle Disks"! Sorry for the trouble.
