This was something I think I saw on Comcast On Demand a few years ago. It was an fantasy anime movie or OVA taking place in a desert, following 3 explorers as they searched for a legendary lost city or oasis. After spending some time in some ruins, they somehow end up underground and have to deal with some living corpses before finally finding their way to the city... only to go through a Door to Before to the earlier ruins, the last remains of the lost city. For some reason, it reminded me of a less brutal Berserk.

So I watched this Anime on Youtube, like a year ago, it had three Main Characters a chick, one black haired guy I think and One silver haired one. The silver haired one wasn't very important in the one episode I saw. So the dark haired guy and the girl met some chick who turned out to be a ghost that was haunting the guy she was gonna marry before she died. They have convos with her trying to get her to leave and in the end a house blows up in which the soon-to-be husband was. I know this isn't much info, coz most Animes have a plot similar to what I've described but I really wanna know what it's called! Thx!

This was an anime short film I found on demand on the anime channel, on my TV. I don't remember the name, it was one word, and was in Japanese I believe, but involved a boy on a school trip who comes across a white deer, who takes him on an adventure, and I'm not sure if the white deer is the girl, but he also meets a girl/robot who goes on his adventure with him. Vic Mignogna was a voice actor in it, that's all I can say. FOUND IT. It's called Coicent.

Sci-fi anime that aired on Adult Swim or anytime late at night on Cartoon Network. All I remember is that the opening had a boy running in a hallway, and a specific scene.
Scientists are performing what looks like X-rays. When they're doing x-rays on the boy, his x-rays didn't have a skeleton.

I'm looking for (what I think is) a manga. It was yuri genre, something to do with a school where the girls are wielded as weapons by the guys and suffer for it and this one girl decides to take a stand and becomes a fighter as well. I remember reading that it had some similarities to Utena, but searching for manga inspired by that turns up nothing.

I've been trying to remember an old anime so I can show it to my brother; it aired sometime around 2005 to 2007, probably. It was a mecha anime from what I can remember and the mecha were as tall as buildings and fought each other on the ground. They were piloted from a room in the head with wires attached to the pilot (they were just standing up and moving the mecha by moving their own body). There's also another piece of information that was the reason why I wanted to show this to my brother; the only episode I watched included a horse mecha. And it was piloted by an actual horse, and another mecha piloted by a human rode on it. It was pretty hilarious. Does this ring a bell for anyone?

This is a real long shot but here it goes: Some time ago on here I found a page for some Anime that I can't find. It MIGHT have been magical girl. The picture had at least three girls that looked like at least teenagers in colorful dresses that looked like magical girl dresses. The art style looked like normal, not too old, not super modern anime animation. It said there were quite a few series, and it was mostly from the 2000s I believe. I think it had girl in the name, even if it didn't, I think the name sounded fruity. Also I remember it said each series had a word in the name changed. Does anyone know what this page was? Thanks. I'll know it when I see it.

In this one, a teen-ish guy who apparently is a part of some military outfit gets trapped by an enemy in a simulation wherein his deceased girlfriend is still alive, forcing a like-aged female compatriot to venture into this and get him out—they sort of get along, sort of fight. This episode played comedically for the most part, don't know about the rest of the series. This apparently was not the first ep.
Later on in the ep, some fanservice hits. A more warrior-like female character enters the simulation along with a more level-headed guy because the crisis/premise situation is kicking up again and they need them back. The pervy teen who originally got trapped realizes his power over the situation and mind-strips the two ladies (their clothes fade away)—-seconds before he is Naru-punched by both. It may be 'his' dream, but he can feel pain.

The cast is a boy, with either black or brown hair, a small girl with long blue hair and a mark on her forehead, and two older girls, one with brown hair and the other with white(?) hair and was tan and had fangs, maybe, and a very cute cat-looking animal.
On one episode the team visits some persons' house (or is it a lab?) and he/she shows them some sort of brown goopy blob that is in a glass case. They leave the room, but we see the glass has a crack and the brown thing escapes. Sometime later, outside, the brown thing shapes itself into a woman and tries to advance toward the guy. But their pet jumps on the creature, and blows up, killing the brown thing. The characters are worried the pet may have died, but they see it jump out well and alive and everybody is happy. Other episodes include the two older girls getting angry that the main guy is seing another girl, placing his head on the girl's lap, which results in the brown haired girl to turn to stone. In another, the white haired girl steals money with the cat as an accomplice and are somehow in a spaceship. One focusing on the blue haired girl tells of her story, with a flashback that shows her being separated from her family, crossing a bridge, and for some reason her mark changed. At the end of this episode we see her older form in the water at night (or is it in the sky?). I might have some errors, since I was pretty young when I watched this.

Could be Anime or Manga.
I'm looking for the origin of an image I saw here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZeuaU7-QgYo
It's at 1:48, on the right hand side of the screen. It goes by REALLY FAST. It's part of a documentary about Little Women. It shows four girls (who must be the Little Women—Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy) in rather Stripperific outfits like Japanese superheroes. At this point the narrator says "[Little Women has had] Adaptations from High to Low culture", and the screen shows a "High Culture" image on the left next to this bizarre one I am wondering about, which is the example of "Low Culture".
I am NOT looking for any of the "straight" adaptations of the novel to Manga or Anime, I'm trying to find out where this bizarre image came from, evidently some adaptation of Little Women with a real HUGE amount of Adaptation Decay.

Which anime are these two screenshots
from? I'm curious because it looks weird and cute at the same time, and I'd like to give it a try.
I will give a big thanks to you in advance. ;)

help, i barely remember this one but i used to watch it all the time in the early 90s, the hero often rode his spaceship on the outside (like ontop), he had a stafe (staff weapon) but when his weapon was inactive it was in two pieces and he kept it holstered like two cowboy pistols and to activate it he would join the two halves and they'd grow into one....

Right, back in 2007 I got to see the Tezuka: The Marvel of Manga at the Asian Art Museum, and there was one page I recall seeing that's stuck with me that I can't remember the origin of.
It was a manga featuring animal characters like Jungle Emperor Leo, though these were domestic dogs and cats. It was presented as an example of both drama and Decompressed Comics, using perhaps the biggest Tear Jerker possible: a kitten (or was it a puppy?) drowning over the course of an entire page while begging her friends not to try and save her.
Any idea which one this might have been?

Trying to find something for my father. Its an anime film (I think, a series is possible too) which would've aired in the US sometime in the 60s or 70s. All he can remember about it is that there were little characters running around going "barbecue" in a high pitched voice. If anyone has any idea what this could possibly be, any help would be appreciated.

When I was a kid, my babysitter used to put on toonami when it got late, and sometimes I'd catch this one movie that really sticks out in my head. There are a few scenes that I remember. In one, a woman is crying becuase one of her friends is hurt, and a monster takes one of her tears and tastes it, declaring it to be "only salt water". In another, a man with glasses gives a young guy a pair of seeds off of a tree that is shaped like a woman, and I think maybe the glasses guy opened his shirt to reveal machinery (or weird organic growthes?) or something equally outlandish. Maybe a submarine or ship is involved, definently the ocean plays a part. Can someone tell me the name of this thing?
