It's a long shot, but there was this song we used to sing around the campfire in Girl Scouts. The verses were variations on the same formula: City girls (do/wear something fancy), Country girls, they do the same, Mountain girls (do/wear something completely different), but they get there just the same. Anyone know/have a link to the lyrics?

I keep hearing this music in a bunch of Youtube Poops, it's mostly used for implied sex scenes and the like. Anyway, I it's also in a Nostalgia Critic review, here

There's this one song I heard on the radio around 2000 (pretty sure it was 2000) in south Texas, right near the Mexican border. I'm almost positive it was in Spanish (EDIT: and the vocalist was male), and it had a very fast beat to it, drum-heavy if I remember right. Here the tune I remember being the chorus
, and this was also in there
. If I remember right there were a few lines that ended in "Gracias, senor" in the non-chorus bits. Any info? It's been bugging me for years.
Another song I'd like to know more about is this one I heard in an FYE, that was basically this old Irish guy... rapping, for lack of a better word. Well, more like spoken word most of the time. In between several lines (what may be considered the chorus) he'd ask "Do you 'something something something', 'something'? Do you 'something something something?" I think. (EDIT: It was not a comedic song in any way; done entirely seriously.) Anyone know an artist who does this, or, even better, the song I'm thinking of?

I swear there is a song that plays a lot right now on Radio Disney can't thing of how old, pretty sure it's not a Radio Disney flash back song, that the first couple notes of it are some horn instrument going like "duh-duh-duh-duh-DUH! Duh-duh-duh-duh-duh-duh-DUH!". Then kicks off into a completely different beat with different instruments for the rest of the song. This beginning beat is stuck in my head right now and really freaking me out. I just can't think of what song this is from. Can you?

I saw the end of this music video...it had this baby with bright green, like unnatural green eyes, there was this naked guy walking around with his hands shaking too. It had a note-thing at the end that said "love Axl Rose" or "to Axl rose", something like that. I tried looking up Guns n roses music videos but if this was one of them, I didn't spot it.

I've been looking - for years - for one particular song after hearing it on a college radio station many years ago.
By the vocals of the singer the band that performs the song is clearly British, probably of Britpop-era vintage. The (male) singer has a distinct "drawling" accent sort of similar to Shane McGowan of the Pogues.
I barely remember any of the content of the song aside from the melody of one section (which I have reciprocated to several hum-a-tune-and-find-the-song services and they all came up with songs that weren't it). It had a strong piano/keyboard riff and children singing on a section of the chorus. I think the song was about either a horse or a ship/schooner or a football (soccer) team or something like that. Might have featured the name "Amanda" or "Remember" as the name of this horse/ship/football team because I recall the line [name] won the [word(s) I forgot] cup.

I heard a song, i'm pretty sure it's a quite well-known one, where the singer is female, i think. Possibly a high male. The bit I remember is them singing part of twhat i assume to be the chorus, either "I wanna BE somebody" or "You better ___ somebody" or something similar. I know the last word was "Somebody", and they stretched out the "-dy" part so it sounded like "daaaaay", and it was slightly louder than the "somebo-". It's pretty recent, i think.

Sometimes when a song is stuck in my head part of another song with a similar beat will play in my head as well, when the infamous Corn Nuts radio ad
is stuck in my head I hear a similar beat bit of another song with this guy going "Party 'till the end of time!", it's not quite the same beat, but close, and I know it's some older song my mom sometimes listens to, but when I looked up that line nothing that could be it came up. I know it's not a big part of the song. Does anyone know what it could be from? Thanks.

I'm looking for the title and artist for the song in the trailer for The Taking of Beverly Hills. It's not in the movie itself.
Here's a link in case you don't remember the trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EruFrrSZ3t4

What was this country song from five or so years ago that goes something like "Here's to the liars and the cheaters and the cold mistreaters and the mama's boys who can't take a chance."??? That part has been replaying in my head over and over again for the past two days and I remember hearing it a lot then, but don't remember anything else. Thanks.

Two songs:
1. A song used in some trailers for the movie The Social Network and possibly Limitless. It had a choir going "ahhh, eyy-eyeh, ahhh, eyy-eyeh, eyeyeyeh, eyeyeyeh, ahhh, eyy-eyeh... and so on. I'm pretty sure there was someone rapping over it too.
2. This one song which had a jazzy, organ-driven rhythm, with some guitar in it as well. I remembered hearing it a lot at the beginning of the year, and it was also used on The Weather Channel as background music for local forecasts. Any suggestions?

I'm looking for a techno song that... well. As generic as this sounds, it sounds like the kind of song you keep hearing people test their speakers with at the swap meet. There's this really loud percussion sound that sounds like light pieces of metal clapping. It goes like KLAK KLAK KLAKKLAK KLAK KLAK. The lyrics are either simlish, or they're whispered. It sounds harsh, but it's not an energetic song.
Any takers?
