opencountry club murderess, title of the movie please ? Film
This is a pretty old movie probably made for tv, it's where there is this country club and the main character is a girl who is a new employee there and she has to deal with the popular boy liking her when the clubs owners daughter, the princess actually has laid claim to him. so this country club princess fakes nice with the employee girl but she secretly sabotages her the employee girl realizes this and figures out that the princess chic is crazy and someone in the club shows her an old picture where it is revealed that actually this princess girl was actually the ugly duckling once and that her sister was actually the more liked popular one who actually bears a great physical resemblance to this new employee girl. It also turns out that the older sister one day mysteriously disappeared leaving her perfect life and perfect boyfriend behind and now only sends generic postcards to the family and or boyfriend saying that she is okay. Then the main character suspecting that princess did all this and murdered her sister she decides to pretend to haunt her as she looks like the sister and she manages to spook her, but then there is this big showdown where princess tries to murder the main character viciously attacking her but then they are caught and she is sent to like a mental asylum where she is seen to look still like a psycho continuing her nervous habit of applying lip balm ominously.
Edited by JustMeSriLankanopenPlot twist: The Town was a bunch of cannibals? Film
A movie from circa '70s-early 80's where this town had a supposed monster in the woods that was eating people and was like brown and stuff (though that could be wrong) and the big plot twist in the movie was that the monster wasn't actually a MONSTER, but actually the town was a bunch of cannibals that would kill and eat outsiders.
open"Black Pearls Suck" Film
There was this live action movie I only saw the first 10 minutes or so of on TV circa 1994. I only remember 2 details: 1. At one point it shows this guy on fire running and screaming 2. At another point it shows this computer with this message saying "black pearls suck". I tried searching for that phrase but Google turns up nothing.
Edited by BootlebatopenVague recollection of a movie featuring an old hag and some children... Film
I just remembered I once watched a movie featuring some ugly old hag with magic powers (maybe she was a witch?) and a group of children of varying ages, and I can't remember the name of the movie. All I remember is a few elements; a part where the children tried to get up from bed but couldn't because the old hag prevented them from doing so using her magic; a part where the children are catapulting things by putting items onto a see-saw thing and jumping onto the other end, but the hag casts a spell that makes them jump so hard that everything they catapult lands into a pot of boiling water and makes one of the children slowly walk towards the see-saw while the children can only watch and plead the hag to undo the spell; maybe a phrase that probably went something like "I'll be here when you don't need me, and I won't be here when you do need me" (not sure as I watched the movie when I had no clue about English and had Croatian subtitles on); a part where the hag breaks a tiny metal toy (I think it was some bells attached to a tiny metal stick?) that belonged to the youngest child (a toddler), and then returns it at the end of the movie by having it fall from the sky into the toddler's hands. But really, these are all foggy recollections so things may or may not be accurate.
openOld owl cartoon on a cheap VHS Film
OK this one is incredibly difficult. I was about 2 or 3 so the details are few. I remember it was a vhs probably from the 80s or 90s maybe even earlier. All I remember is little owls climbing a tree trying to get to class. The owls were shaped like little triangles and I think there was a triangular fox at the bottom of the tree. They climbed up branch by branch. Please help me remember!
openGREAT MOVIE but i can't remember its name Film

They end up breaking into a hypermarket and dig a big hole there, steal a scubadiving costume for the grandpa (main male character). He jumps into the water, finds the "stone" and then he dies, while the cops come into the hypermarket and find his daughter.
openNo Title Film
A few years ago, I saw a black-and-white video that was probably from the 1950s. It was a US government propaganda video about the dangers of nuclear and chemical warfare, a real Cold War paranoia type thing. It was a short video, certainly no longer than 30 minutes, but possibly as short as 5 minutes. It was probably played at the cinema in those days before the feature film, or in between a double feature or something. Or maybe it was shown to schoolchildren and/or public workers, I don't know. The only specific thing I remember is footage of nuclear explosions and at the beginning the word FEAR in enormous letters. I am pretty sure it was not the famous Duck And Cover film, this one was more serious and the target audience seemed to be adults. The word FEAR is definitely the most memorable part, and I'm pretty certain it appeared on the screen at the beginning of the film. I thought I would be able to find this easily on the internet but have had no luck.
openMelting Man in Body Horror Scene in 80s-ish Horror Movie Film
Since childhood I've been trying to discover the identity of a movie I caught on TV. Several young adults or teens were exploring a house/building, one young man ended up alone in the center of a room that promptly shut him in and began heating up. The walls glow, the soles of his shoes start to stick to the floor. In his last moments he twists in agony and his head turns around to an unnatural degree (literally) as though his neck is affected by the heat the way that his shoes are. Dying to know what the heck this movie was.
openOld film where a woman showers while wearing a men's shirt Film
I watched a documentary several years ago about some actress. I believe she was dark-haired, and she was very pretty. Part of the documentary mentioned that for a certain movie, the director wanted her to do a nude scene, but she refused, so for the movie she ended up in a scene taking a shower in an outdoor shower wearing a large, wet, and very thin men's shirt that clung to her body so tightly that she might as well have been nude. A group of soldiers in some sort of vehicle passes her, very pleased with the sight, and one of the men jumps out and beckons to her with both hands, arms spread, a "come here baby!" gesture. I think he looked kind of Hispanic, definitely not white. She kind of teases him a little bit, and I'm pretty sure she then pulls out a gun (from where, I do not know) and shoots him. The showering seemed like kind of a trap to lure men to her, I think. The movie was older, like Wizard of Oz-era. I think it was in color, but I am not positive. Does anyone know this movie?
openAny movies about kids surviving on an island or the wilderness? Film
Does anyone know of any movies about kids surviving either on a deserted island, or in the wilderness? There's Alone in the Woods, which crosses the concept with a Home Alone-esque comedy, but is there anything else? Light-hearted or serious is fine, but I'm not talking Lord of the Flies, as that's not a kid movie.
openNo Title Film
This movie was a collection of shorts, but I've never been able to track down a single one. All of them were bad animation- really old, the kind that looks like it's three frames- and the audio was kinda tinny too. I saw it on a VCR tape when I was a kid.
Anyways, the shorts. One was this cinderella-style one, about this girl who swept cinders out of the grate (hence her name cinderella), and had a cruel mother. There was no voice work for the characters, just a narrator talking over it. Had a sooty look to it.
Another was a cat-and-mouse chase (not tom and jerry, but somewhat their style) through a house FULL of cuckoo clocks. No voices, but a soundtrack and noises for the many clocks. This one was kinda surreal at times.
Another was this Native American boy following/wooing this Native American girl. I remember thinking it was like Hiawatha- what with the boy trying to win the love of someone he couldn't have, being friends with all animals/can talk to them. He did have "voicework" but I'm not sure if it was English or gibberish. Girl didn't speak.
The last one was the strangest. It starts with a cat fishing and singing "Curiosity, meow, curiosity, meow, (deh deh deh deh deh deh deh deh) cur-i-ah-si-ty." Another younger cat comes up as the fisher catches a bottle. Young cat wants to open the bottle and see what's inside, but the older cat says its a bad idea- curiosity kills the cat. He then starts telling of a time he opened a bottle...
He was fishing and found a bottle, and opened it. Out of it came a gas that formed itself into a dragon. The dragon starts chasing the cat... some stuff happens, and now it's a two headed dragon. I forget how the cat managed to get the dragon BACK into the bottle, but he did. The short ends with the cats through the bottle back.
For this short, there is voice-acting for the cat, but during the flashback it was narrated over.
All the shorts are separated by a scrolling screen that has a "dolly" like look (tea dolly, not doll-dolly)- it's pinkish with the lacy/dolly thing over it. It plays this tinny- almost music-box like- music (classical, I think).
The entire thing looks ancient, or incredibly low-budget. Aside from the narration and the cat short, the entire thing looks like it could not be American at all. The Cinderella short looks almost Russian to me, and the others are... odd... for an American work.
And no, searching for Cinderella did not work. Anyone have any clue what this was?

openPossibly a Kids miniseries from a period in 1990-2005 Film
Hi! I have this memory of a TV-show i watched way back, but I cant for the life of me figure out the name!
I only remember some of it, but I hope some of you will recongnise it!
I remember teenagers in a strange house. I think maybe they were guests there, they didnt live there. A boy saw a girl through a round window in a door, she seemed trapped in there. They looked at the house from the outside and a part of the house (Like the top or something) turned into a spacheship (or something like that) I think maybe the girl went with it.
I dont think it was so many episodes, or if it was any at all, maybe it was a movie? I was so young and it was such a long time ago!
Please help! If you dont remember the name but the show/movie and remeber something else that happend please reply!!

openShort about a woman seeing her future on a T.V Film
This movie from many years ago was a collection of stories. One in particular was about a woman and her fiance who had a T.V, which everytime the woman changed the channel, it show her room but sometime later. Anyway, the woman starts to change the channels, surfing through the future, watching her possible, happy life with her boyfriend, until there was nobody on screen, only a decaying flower (both presumably died). Finally, the woman realizes that the man is the true love of her life, so she goes to his house, only to be suddenly run over by a bus or a truck. Does anyone know about this film/short?

Looking for a certain children's movie, marionettes, storytelling?I've been looking for a couple movies I rented as a kid. They could have come out around late 80s or early to mid 90s. I think it had an old women in a rocking chair (could have been a puppet) telling a story, when she would start a story the camera would zoom out the window into some quilt-like land. I remember one story was about either a lamb or dog (marionette) I think the world was in pastels and made of pillows and quilts.
open1970s-2000 horror film Film
I have been searching for years for this film and I can't find it... It's about invasion of monsters into a small town (I think this might even be a sequel), I vaguely remember parts where a high-schooler looking girl walks up into the back of a moving van kind of van, and then gets dragged into the darkness of the van as she struggled and screamed. A man getting dumped into a huge barrel of acid/oil/hot water by the monsters, and I think the film concluded with teenagers running to a house chased by these monsters, and they stored an explosive/ molotov cocktail kinda thing inside a stuffed toy, left it out in the yard and made a monster eat it so it could explode (which it did). The monsters were in various sizes, all looked weird and different. I don't recall them having too much fur. Size is about average teenager/ adult size. The monsters could be vampires or goblins or something else I can't remember that clearly... Any help would be appreciated!!

So I'm looking for the name of a TV show I used to watch as a little girl. Around 2003-2005 maybe. I don't remember much about it other than one episode even though I used to watch it all the time. There were 2 characters. I can only remember a white creature that sort of looked like the abominable snowman and didn't talk but it mumbled. The other character I believe was smaller but I'm trying to remember them living on some sort of i don't know if it's a different planet or some undergroud place. There was a traintrack and they would get on it to go places. The show was sort of clay-animated like Rudolph The Red Nose Reindeer movies but it wasn't anything close to Christmas. If anyone may know it please let me know, I've been trying to find it forever. And I believe the title is the name of the 2 characters but i don't remember. Thank you
