As your friendly neighborhood Admin Team, the gang here at TVTropes HQ is always working to improve the site.
Many of those improvements begin with suggestions posted right here, on the Community Wishlist. Is there a feature you really want on TVTropes? Post it.
Is there something we could be doing better? We want to know. Do you think we look fat in these pants? We were totally afraid of that. See a bug? Report it.
Important things to know:
- We're all about that content-creation life! The top contenders for our attention are ideas that'll create more content, like the video uploading feature, or speed up launching new pages. On the flip side, design or layout tweaks won't be our top priority.
- Help us dig through the goldmine of old wishlist items! If you have an old request gathering dust or spot one you're totally on board with, give it a bump and a like. There's a treasure trove of 6+ years' worth of ideas just waiting to be rediscovered. Items without enough love may not make the cut and will be closed.
- Was your wishlist item locked up without an explanation? It was most likely disapproved or just too big of a task versus the benefit it would ultimately have. Time is precious, and we want to focus on updates with the biggest bang for the buck. Don't be discouraged though! We appreciate every idea and we're always listening.

closed Sofia the first
I'm writting a fanfic crossover between sofia the first/winx club, i would like to read it here in tv tropes:

closed Multiple language support
I spend countless hours reading entire pages of tropes and I wish I could let all of my Italian friends have my same experience. Unfortunately translating the whole website would make an insanely long process if made by a single person so I wish there was some way for the Italian readers (like me) to contribute and make things easier for non-English speakers.
closed Disney paint war show 2010-2013
I watched some kind of a paint war show around 2011-2013.I am not completely sure if it was on Dinsey Channel or Cartoon Network. The show took place in a castle with defenders in strange costumes who never changed and attacker who were different every episode. One of defenders was dressed like a lizard and one other as a valkyrie, but there were around three more. Attackers had to climb walls while defenders split a lot of paint on them. I tried googling it but I am unlucky. Please help me guys!
closed New Trope
Can you guys please make a trope called "Is This a Jo Jo Reference?" There are many jojo references in other unrelated anime and manga, so the examples list would not be too short. Plus, with jojo becoming more popular, and the usage of the phrase, " is this a jojo reference," I feel it would be necessary...also it would be really cool to have a jojo specific trope here! Thank you for reading!
closed Link to Wiki Tools in the sidebar
The Itty Bitty Wiki Tools are really useful and can be quite hard to find if you don't think to start looking in Administrivia. (It took me almost ten minutes of googling and trawling the forums to finally find the "folderize" tool.) A link to this page in the "tools" or "tips" section of the sidebar would be a godsend.
Edited by LongLiveHumourclosed In ATT, trying for a too long title edit, fails without error indication...
In ATT, if I edit a query to have a title that's too long, my edits fail because of it, but I have to remember that that's the error, so I can fix it.
Can there be an notification for when the new title is too long?
closedPLEASE IGNORE! I MADE A MISTAKE!
EDIT: My bad! Looking for the answers in the wrong places.
Edited by MagnusForceclosed Really Laggy Website Ad
I'm someone who's not that bothered by most website ads, which is why I'm not currently using an Ad Blocker, but is it possible to axe showing off the "Cliff Jumping / Zorbing / Diving With Sharks" ad? I've never seen an ad lag a website as much as this particular one.
Edited by Retlocliveclosed A way to take care of circular links
It would be a while before we could do this, maybe in a future site update, but I thought it'd be nice if whenever someone linked to the article within the article, instead of reloading the page when you clicked on the link, it would take you to the administrivia page.
It would take a talented programmer to pull this off, but still.
closed Profile request
I believe that it would be incredibly convenient if your profile included a link to your troper page.
closed Trope Namer in Description
I don't know whether this is already in the descriptions and I just didn't see it (which is highly likely) but could you maybe add to the main pages of each trope what the Trope Namer for that trope was.
Edited by onurubuclosed Remove my avatar
I'd like to know how to remove my avatars. But I don't know how to do it. I went to my profile, but no "no avatar" option.
Edited by SeptimusHeapclosed The ability to delete/share avatars from your profile's gallery.
Could we make it so you can delete or share avatars from both your gallery you'd find on your post and the gallery you can go to in your profile? It just seems to make sense.
closed Trope Finder Finder
I NEED a button that shows only YOUR Trope Finder/YKTTW/YKTS/other stuff like that entries. I can NEVER find mine to check for answers- or at least be able to search by username.

closed Let page URLs begin with numbers
In the current system, numbers are treated like non-capitalized letters, meaning that no titles can start with them. This leads to awkward URLs like Literature.Nineteen Eighty Four. To fix this, I suggest that the system treat numbers like capitalized letters if that's possible.
closed A "Did You Mean X?" Query
Just in case you typed on a trope with a typo or a singluar/plural word that has no page.
closed Put Edit comments back at the top when they're seen in the Edit-History
If the edit is really long, it can be kind of difficult to find the comment left behind by the person who made the edit since they're now at the bottom of it.

Right now, the only options seem to be either
A) list the most recent 10 edits
or
B) list all edits since the page was created. In pages with long active histories of thousands of edits, this is enough to choke one's web browser, causing it to lag or even freeze, and is basically unusable.
It would be really nice if it were possible to view history items 10 at a time, or 50 at a time, or 100 at a time, or what have you, instead of having to load the whole entire history just to read the 11th oldest item.
Like for example, if a user wanted to go beyond the 10th oldest edit, a page with 2300 edits could have its history paginated into 23 pages with 100 edits each.
A search function would also be nice, for more easily finding a specific edit. (Granted, on the current single page model, you can just use the browser's "find-in-page" function, but only if said browser doesn't choke on the unbelievably enormous page.)
