open...I don't know how to phrase this. Multiple tropes perhaps Web Original
A D&D campaign featuring a polymorphing Team Pet dog; the dog can morph into more or less anything (unless doing so would make it drown/suffocate) from anything - so won't always revert into a dog - but won't gain any abilities to speak or improved intelligence etc. That's just one part of this.
Group is joined by a player who imports a Chaotic Neutral Warlock character from previous games. At some point, Warlock is staying in the party camp - avoiding the town because he's a wanted man - alongside the Kobold cleric and discovers the party pet, Shoggy, is a polymorph when Shoggy morphs into a naked elf.
Party waits for questions like "wait WHAT dog can morph"... instead what they get is the player saying "I fuck the elf". Elf emergency transforms into a porcupine and inflicts Groin Attack to the Warlock. After getting a heal and a lecture on morality from the Cleric, Warlock's player, in real life, gets up, calls the players "dog fucking f-ggots" and leaves.
...TLDR I am looking for tropes for: polymorphing pet, bestiality I suppose? This is a weird part of the campaign.
openLooking for tropes in the Story of "SD Gundam Ultimate Battle" Web Original
Alright, here goes nothing...after having a chat to check
, I'm gonna share a Story someone shared with me to help improve a page I'm working on.
For the sake of context, last year I asked my friend to give me a Story Synopsis for SD Gundam Ultimate Battle so that I could start a page for it, and instead she gave me the whole tale. I've been working on a Sandbox page for SD Gundam Ultimate Battle and I think it's good so far, but I want to add more tropes, particularly of the non-spoiler variety, before I feel that the page is ready to be uploaded. So I wanted to ask if I could share the Story my friend shared with me here to see if we could find anymore tropes?
Here's the story (Warning: Unmarked Spoilers);
"Ultimate Battle takes place after the Legendary Giant incident. In the kingdom of Lacroa, several warriors from unknown time periods appear and begin to fight. During this, Knight Gundam tries to stop them when he notices that Black Dragon has resurrected. He is protected from an attack by Knight Unicorn. Unicorn's attack turns Black Dragon into a card, to the surprise of Knight Gundam. In order to combat the warriors (lead by Shikou Musha Sinanju), Unicorn summons more warriors from cards and an all-out battle happens. Knight Gundam feels this is wrong because they are all Gundams, and we meet Crown Knight III (at this time, more of that spoiled prince that looks down on others) who saves him and gives him a few degrading words. Knight Gundam protects him from an attack and Unicorn gives Knight Gundam a card to stop this battle, the three treasures of flame. Knight beats Sinanju, who turns into a card. Suddenly, Knight himself turns into a card. It is then revealed that this whole incident was caused by Knight Unicorn, who reveals his true form (the red-pink psychoframe version of Unicorn, "The age of a new god has begun!!"). Unicorn uses his power to brainwash some of the warriors and continue the endless battle. Then, Tenkai Bujin Matsuri Musha Mikoshimaru appears from the heavens to stop Unicorn, who had gained power from the Full Armor. Mikoshimaru summons Summoner X, who summons more warriors and causes the battle to continue. Knight V2 notices that the Armor seems to be controlling Unicorn ("He's an enemy and must be defeated.") and an all-out attack is commanded to break the armor. Red Majin Shamblo appears from the armor and defeats the warriors with a mouth laser. The last ones standing from the attack are shown to be Knight Unicorn and Mikoshimaru. Mikoshimaru gives Knight Unicorn a card to seal Red Majin ("If you are Unicorn, you'd know how to use this, right? Now, you are not Red Majin. Use your "true heart!"" "My...true heart...") Unicorn finds his resolve, uses Saint Sword Excaliber R and with the power of the 16 Worlds formed to one successfully seal Red Majin Shamblo. Everything goes back to normal, happily ever after."
So far in terms of tropes I've already got Adaptational Villainy, Big Bad Wannabe, Brainwashed and Crazy, Canon Foreigner, Composite Character, Crisis Crossover, "I Know You're in There Somewhere" Fight, Man Behind the Man, and Spotlight-Stealing Crossover.
If anybody wants me to edit the story so that it's divided by sentence to make it easier to read, I'd be willing to do that.

open"Lucky Guess" Trope? Web Original
I'm looking for a trope to fit a particular entry and, I confess, I'm not 100% sure this is the right place to ask.
I initially tried a play on Entertainingly Wrong, but it doesn't really fit there as it's not really "wrong". The closest I can think of is I Was Just Joking, but not sure if it fits either. I'm not sure if this merits the Is This an Example thread, but I might try there if this isn't the right place. It's not really Achievements in Ignorance either. The name fits, but there's nothing really impossible happening.
What I suppose I'm looking for is some kind of "Lucky Guess" trope.
If it helps, the entry in mind:
- Kingdom Smarts: The premise of the podcast is Kingdom Hearts fangirl Shannon explaining the series to KH-ignorant Jake. During the prologue of Kingdom Hearts II, which introduces Roxas, Jake has just enough context from what Shannon has told him of the first Kingdom Hearts and Chain of Memories to ask the question "Is Roxas Sora's Nobody?" but does not, by his own admission, have enough context to know what that question actually means. Despite this, Jake's question proves to be a correct guess of reveals to come.
openRich Youth = Tennis Racket Web Original
A quick way to establish a character as a foppish old money heir, in works taking blace before the 1950ies, is to give him a tennis racket. Usually implies the character belongs to a country club, or studies in a classy college, and that he's sporty enough to be a physical threat.

Edited by KingOfStickersopenRegarding RWBY Web Original
In RWBY, the heroes fight the Grimm upon their arrival in Atlas at the beginning of Volume 7. However, they are arrested for illegally entering Atlas using a stolen ship, ditching said ship in Mantle against orders from the Atlesian higher-ups and illegally engaging in battle. And despite Qrow holding a valid huntsman license, Teams RWBY, JNR and Oscar don't have any licenses to become huntsmen since their training was incomplete.
Which trope best covers this particular entry?

opencelebrity/actor retroactive renaming Web Original
For example, Samantha Smith, the 1980s child peace activist, is often referred to today with the addition of her middle name of "Reed" in order to avoid confusion with Samantha Smith the modern actress famous from "Supernatural".
Likewise, Walter Mondale is called Fritz in contenporary recordings from the 1984 election but most people today just refer to him as Walter Mondale.

openIs there a trope, for accidentally getting invited? Web Original
I'm sure this trope has been done, a few times before, but I wanted to know if it's one of the tropes.
Basically, someone sends an invitation for an event/mission/vacation, to a particular person for various different reasons. However through a series of hijinks, the invitation ends up in the hands of not the intended guy, but rather a completely different person. Never the less, the person accepts the invitation and goes anyway.
For the record, I'm not really referring to the Mistaken for Special Guest trope, but more of the invitation being sent to the wrong person. Any help, would be appreciated.
openThis story is entirely true. Web Original
Is there a trope about how in some (usually creepypasta) stories, it starts with an assurance that the story is entirely true? Because that's something I'd like to add to The petscop webvid page. Petscop does that.
openWhich Tropes Are These? Web Original
I have questions about tropes in The JWL. I think these might be examples of Morton's Fork or The Chessmaster or Batman Gambit but I'm really not sure.
At JWL SuperBrawl I
, the main event was the 22-woman Royal Rumble for the JWL Women's Title
. Jacqueline came in at #8 and, to everyone's surprise, singlehandedly eliminated Chyna. Instead of staying in the match, Jackie eliminated herself and she and Chyna fought to the back. The following night, on Episode 22
, Jackie challenged Chyna to a match at JWL WrestleMania I
. Jackie won a Squash Match on Episode 23. After winning a Squash on Episode 24, Jackie called out Chyna to accept her challenge, and here is where the tropes I am asking about come into play.
CHYNA: "Look Jackie, you're the only one who would benefit from this match. I beat you, big deal, I beat someone much smaller than me. You beat me, I end up looking weak because I lost to someone smaller. I have nothing to gain. So give me one good reason why I should face you at WrestleMania."
JACQUELINE: "Because if you don't, I'll tell everyone week after week that you are a coward! That you ain't got the guts to face me. I will torment you and make your life a living hell. In fact, I'm raising the stakes. You versus me at WrestleMania in a Loser-Leaves-the-JWL match!"
Crowd pops at the thought of being rid of Chyna. Chyna is on the spot now and has to respond.
CHYNA: "I admit it would feel really good to kick your ass out of the JWL and prove that I am superior. You're on for the Loser-Leaves-the-JWL match at WrestleMania!"
Along with identifying which tropes these were, should they be listed on the main page or the character sheets? Thank you very much.

openFanfics Using Developmental gags Web Original
This is something endemic to fanfics. If a fanfic uses or references characters or concepts that were cut from the original canon material (e.g. Zootopia works using Jack Savage), would it still be a Development Gag, or would it be a different trope?
