Is there a trope page for The Darkened Heart Project? It's a photocomic chronicling an intern's investigation of a century-old virus, of which the evidence has been buried in the archives of the Smithsonian. The deeper he digs into the mystery, the more convinced he becomes that there was a conspiracy to cover up this plague. One of the many questions is, why? It's definitely a good read, with an engrossing plot, well-designed props, and well-written dialogue that almost makes you forget that it is a fictional tale. The comic has been on hiatus for months, but it was recently announced (3/27/2011) that it would be resumed sometime in the next few weeks.

Is there a trope for when someone is unhappy about a new job, assignment, move or whatever until they find out it puts them into contact with an person to which they are attracted? For example, teen boy is upset his father makes him get a job, but then finds out there is a very sexy girl at his new work place.

The good guy's got the Big Bad on the ropes. He's about to land the finishing blow. Just at the last crucial moment, though, the sidekick distracts him. In that moment, the Big Bad seizes the oppertunity and gravely wounds our hero, then makes a break for it.
Is there a trope for this?

What's the name of the trope where the opening credits show the characters doing stuff outdoors, but the show itself is rarely (if ever) or never filmed outdoors? For example, Three's Company, Laverne and Shirley, Bosom Buddies, WKRP in Cincinnati, Growing Pains, etc.

Do we have anything that covers those times in Zombie Apocalypse movies in which a character has been bitten by a Zombie but doesn't yet realize what's going on, so carries about his/her day, perhaps commenting on the crazy guy that just bit them to their more Genre Savvy friends?

1. Bob is an ancient spirit, around for several millenia...but then we find out that by immortals'/spirits' way of counting and aging, he's considered a mere child.
2. Death or the Grim Reaper appearing in the form of a cab-driver, bus-driver, truck-driver...pretty much anyone who has some sort of vehicle. Usually there are passengers in the backseat, obviously dearly-departed souls.

Is there a trope for Wholesome Crossdresser, except instead of crossdressing, it's being naked?
As in, it has nothing to do with otherwordly/cultural values (as in Innocent Fanservice Girl), but more of a "this is completely normal" vibe attached.

Two very common ones. 1. What is the name for the trope where a character in an action movie puts something in their pocket in a scene and it serves as the "twist" that saves their life in the final battle with the Big Bad? Say, a knife in the boot. A locket from grandma that stops a bullet, etc. 2. Also an action movie trope. Big Bad is about to kill Hero, suddenly Big Bad drops the the ground, shot in the chest (or wherever)... reveal the girl, the love interest, usually who has been totally worthless until now, holding a smoking gun. She drops the gun, crying, runs to the hero. What's the name of that old standby?

We do not appear to have a trope for Viking Funeral. I was almost positive we did, but the closest I can find is it being a specific type of Due to the Dead or Meaningful Funeral. If there is an appropriate trope that I just haven't found, please let me know before I make the YKTTW.

There are two RPG tropes I'm thinking of, but I'm not sure if either one even exists:
1. This most often happens before boss fights (and especially before the final boss) but can happen at any critical plot point: *every* member of your party gives a single dramatic line in sequence directed towards another character, often accompanied by a camera cut or pan to each one. If directed toward someone in your party or another protagonist, this can be to tell that character that They Are Not Alone or at any time after a Heroic BSOD; and if directed toward an antagonist, it is often a challenge to that villain immediately preceding a battle with them. The core of the trope is that literally *every* character gets a line and always in sequence, even when this makes the dialogue awkward and ungainly.
2. As a Justification for non-plot-related monsters running about, an NPC (or even a named character, but usually an NPC) will comment on how there has been an increase in monsters lately, usually tied to the event which set the story of the game in motion, or simply attributed to a general rise of evil in the world.

I seriously think that there should be a trope called Food As Reward. A character does a good deed for another character, or saves another character from some kind of trouble. The character is so grateful to the character who saved him that he gives him some food as his reward. I really think that should be a trope.

Sort of a meta-trope; I can think of a couple of examples that would best illustrate. First example: when watching an episode of House, M.D., House declares the patient has Disease X, and this seems reasonable - but since you know there are 20 minutes left to the show, you also know that this diagnosis is false.
Second example: You're writing a multiple-choice exam where so far, all your answers have been A, B or C, with not a single D. Then comes the final question, where two answers sound equally reasonable - you pick D, because you figure, hey, there must be a D answer in here somewhere.
Third example: I was handed a text in an American Studies class, and told to guess the author. It was about how cities and industry were evil, ambition was a bad thing, and farmers practiced the chosen occupation of God; I guessed one of the Founding Fathers, since people like to take such seemingly shocking propositions and reveal, "Guess what, this guy you think is a lunatic was a Founding Father!" just for the shock value (turns out I was right! It was Jefferson).
Not sure what this is. Genre Savvy brilliance? Medium Savvy? What is this?

Here's another trope that I can't find anywhere; one character notices something that he becomes greatly horrified or surprised at, but it turns out to be something mundane rather than the main event that happened. Happens fairly often in Sponge Bob Square Pants. It could be a subtrope of Completely Missing The Point, but I don't know what it's called. Does anyone know what that trope is called?

So somebody, for example a youtube showman, is making a series(let's name it "Cool Monkeys"), and people love it. But then, he makes some episodes of "Super Cats", and fans are angry, because they think that the maker should only make Cool Monkeys and stop making that Shity "Super Cats" episodes.
Also, I've got an extra question: A technology and stuff from XX-XXI century is being parodied in cavemen era, or medieval era. Good example: Flinstones: Newspaper is made of rock, Cars use legs etc.
Do we have a trope for when a hero jumps onto a moving vehicle (usually a car) driven by a bad guy and hangs on long enough to either take control or grab the MacGuffin?
