Is a previously completely static webcomic introducing animations a version of Art Evolution or something different?

Which trope is this; Mood Dissonance, Mood Whiplash, or Bread, Eggs, Milk, Squick? I'm not sure, myself.

In the current Leftover Soup storyline, Ellen was assigned responsibility for watching over the hedgehog while Jamie was at work, and she accidentally backed her office chair over her.
It's ... like Carrying a Cake, but less specific. Help?

I chose webcomic because this would mainly appear in comics, but this can also be in western animation.
Okay, so I swear I've seen this before. A character thinks of something inside a puffy cloud dream bubble, or etc, and other characters outside of it in the physical world can somehow touch the bubble, manipulate it, poke it, make it pop, or eat it (and etc, anything.) Is there a trope for that? I'm also thinking this trope could also work for dialogue bubbles in comics.

Is there a trope for when someone does something as a "favor", but it turns out to be just as harmful as it is helpful, if not more?
Specifically, I'm talking about an early plot point in El Goonish Shive. Nioi shows up, and without actually receiving permission, implants an alternate universe version of Ellen's memories into her mind. This definitely helped her get used to being female, and gave her something to distinguish herself from Elliot, who she is a clone of. But now she has some trouble in history class because aliens weren't secret in the other universe, and she just about walled herself off from Tedd (who "used to be" her best friend) because she now had memories of two versions of him. And then there's the fact that Nioi actually invaded her mind and her alternate self's mind.
It's not Moral Dissonance, because that refers to the protagonist, which Nioi isn't.

Did Not Do The Research is about when a writer... doesn't do the research. Is there a trope for when someone in a story makes that mistake?
Specifically, I'm talking about a true story from The Trenches, in which a game retailer's marketing department completely underestimates how popular the PS 3 is going to be, not even bothering to check online trends, resulting in far too little supply for obviously high demand.

Is there a trope where a trap is obvious to the viewer, but confusing to the victim? Example. In the example, two soldiers find an unguarded path and they only see one kid holding a cup. Whosoever holds that cup cannot be stopped, but the two soldiers don't know that.

Is there a Distaff Counterpart to Nice Guy? Cora from The Trenches is an example.

Is there a trope for when someone does something seemingly horrible, but then it turns out it wasn't that bad at all?
For example, in The Adventures Of Dr Mc Ninja, Dr McLuchador sets a man on fire, sends him through a skateboard trick ramp and into a pool of liquid... which turns out to be some kind of super burn treatment substance, leaving the man perfectly fine. It was a demonstration of his medical expertise.

What is the trope for a Forgotten Tongue or Ancient Language or Disused Speech or something like that, particularly if pronunciation is no longer known?

I'm sure this comic has a trope attached to it, can't think of which one right now. It has a creepy rape face and the insinuation that you are nicotine's bitch in there though.

Is there a trope for the conflict between evolution and religion/creationism? It seems to be a theme in Dissonance.

This actually seems to crop up more often in print comics then webcomics (though it does happen there too), but for some reason that's not a medium choice.
In a nutshell, the trope is an arc or event that wraps up a large number of plot threads (but not all of them) in an "epic" fashion befitting a Grand Finale... but isn't the end of its series, and wasn't planned to be (so it's not Series Fauxnale). It's not even usually meant to make the reader think it's the end. Typically, there will be one surprise twist or cliff-hanger right at the end to let the readers know the story continues, but that's not always necessary - the important part is that many storylines are brought to their dramatic height and then concluded at the same time, but without actually ending the story as a whole.
Can be used for a Retool, but isn't always.
Is there a trope for this?

Do we have a trope for "strobe shots" in comics (I've heard them called that, but googling doesn't seem to turn up many references to the term and I can't find what it's normally called). Basically when the artist shows someone moving by drawing a large scene and drawing "ghost" images of the person as they moved across it.

I'm not sure if this fits under Glasgow Grin, Slasher Smile or Cheshire Cat Grin. A character in Goblins has transparent skin around his mouth, meaning his teeth are always visible.
Is there a trope page for The Darkened Heart Project? It's a photocomic chronicling an intern's investigation of a century-old virus, of which the evidence has been buried in the archives of the Smithsonian. The deeper he digs into the mystery, the more convinced he becomes that there was a conspiracy to cover up this plague. One of the many questions is, why? It's definitely a good read, with an engrossing plot, well-designed props, and well-written dialogue that almost makes you forget that it is a fictional tale. The comic has been on hiatus for months, but it was recently announced (3/27/2011) that it would be resumed sometime in the next few weeks.
