I’ve noticed that on the YMMV page for fortnite, Game-Breaker currently has 28 examples and around 26,802 bytes (for reference, the main ymmv page has 135,556 bytes). Should I split it into its own subpage or is it fine as is?

resolved Wanted to request an Image Change for a Page, but Image Pickin is always full Videogame
Hello!
I wanted to move the page Dontnod Entertainment to Don't Nod after their recent name change (in 2022), turning the previous link into a redirect, but the page image has been set as per an Image Pickin thread
where the logo had been changed back to the original one because of dark mode related issues. I wanted to use an image from their website (with no similar issues) to go with the new naming, but whenever I try to make an Image Pickin thread it is always full, and I have no idea how to proceed.
Thank you!

resolved Fortnite & Crossovers/Collabs Videogame
Hi,
maybe this sounds like a stupid question but I just want to make sure because I haven't seen that on character pages where this would apply to: If a character gets their own Fortnite Outfit, would it be appropiate to list that apperance on their character page? Or are there also additional requirements (such as actually having an impact on narrative/gameplay as opposed to only a cosmetic apperance) And if so, would it be wise to mention the season where the character was introduced into the game or also list every other skin variant, if any?
resolved Indentation edit-warring Videogame
On YMMV.The Legend Of Zelda I, Tailikku had added two entries, one of which was improperly indented and also began with word cruft ("Speaking of"). I fixed both issues and sent them a word cruft notifier... then they edited the example to reinstate the lone third-bullet asterisks for the second entry (they cited "fixing indentation [and] formatting" in the edit reason, but what they're doing is repeating an editing issue).
I'm writing this query to ask for permission to revert that improper bullet sorting once again.
Edited by MyFinalEditsresolved Does Bioshock Infinite count as an example of Troubled Production? Videogame
I just found out recently that the game, which underwent a very long development cycle to the point of its budget blowing up to unhealthy proportions, was largely the result of its project leader, Ken Levine's, flawed management style and tendency to be fickle, scrapping years worth of development the moment something else strikes his fancy, resulting in a high turnover of developers that grew tired of Levine's antics. You can find plenty of articles such as this
that reveal his tendency to have a falling out with his employees in this manner. Seems to be another case of an Auteur License that went the way of The Peter Principle, but what do others think?
resolved Momoka - is this thing tropable? Videogame
Recently I've seen ManlyBadassHero's playthrough of RPG Maker game Momoka
. The thing is, there isn't much in the terms of gameplay and the story is shallow and full of holes. Manly's commentary doesn't help either. At least I'm unable to spot any distinguished tropes in the game. Considering this, is the thing even tropable?
resolved where would memes go on a page if there aren't enough memes? Videogame

resolved No Title Videogame
I'm editing the lesser known articles and/or providing context to the ZCEs. Lately, I've been updating the Beyond Oasis page, and I'm stuck in a dilemma: in Legend Of Oasis, the Wind Spirit, Airl, is a large bird-like being with a cloud-like body, identified as female. She has a soft pink/pastel-ish colour, and I thought of adding the Pink Is Feminine trope. However, the Wind Spirit (and the others) do not have much say in the plot.
My question is: should I add Pink Is Feminine, just because the character is a "she"? In this lens, I'm suspecting the trope may be interpreted as "Pink is Female", that is, just because a character is pink they default to female. To my mind, the "Pink is Feminine" trope deals with a character's behaviour: a girl being pretty, delicate, demure, dainty, etc.

I'm trying to create a work page,
https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Sandbox/TheCleaner
1) I couldn't load an image. I followed the designated steps. Could it be a sandbox thing?
2) I refer to Game Maker, which is the program used to create the game and points to a certain demographic of indie game programmers. It is written without the space, however, it turns out Game Maker points to a trope. Is there a way to display it without it becoming a wick automatically?
resolved Redirect or just cut? Videogame
I see that a page for VideoGame.Yakuza Kiwami 2 was previously made back in 2020, but doesn't have any tropes listed and is basically a stub. The only other edit made was about a year ago. Kiwami 2 is a remake of Yakuza 2, and the VideoGame.Yakuza 2 page already contains a folder about tropes that are exclusive to the Kiwami 2 remake.
Should the Kiwami 2 page just be a redirect to Yakuza 2 in that case? In the same vein, I was thinking of making VideoGame.Yakuza Kiwami (a remake of the first Yakuza game) a redirect to VideoGame.Yakuza 1. Or is it a case where it should just be cut since the thing in question isn't crosswicked that much (6 wicks for Yakuza Kiwami 2, 1 wick for Yakuza Kiwami)? I apologize if this isn't the right area to ask this question.
Edited by taotruthsresolved Is this trope misuse? Videogame
I wanted to ask something about With Catlike Tread in case I'm just misunderstanding it. My understanding of it is "Exceptionally noisy/noticable attempts at stealth". But the examples listed from videogames seem to count "noticable to the player in real life" as "exceptionally noisy/noticable" even though it's not portrayed as such in-universe. Here are some examples of this.
- In Xenoblade Chronicles 1, Riki is prone to screaming "Riki sneaky!" when activating his "Sneaky" skill, a special attack that deals more damage when hitting enemies from behind. This doesn't actually affect enemies' perception of him, though.
- A major design element of Overwatch is that every hero (except Zenyatta, who floats) can be heard through walls; it can be very easy to hear Reaper (who wears big heavy boots) or Winston (a giant gorilla) attempting to sneak around you.
- Somehow, The Legend of Zelda's Link can always stay unnoticed as long as he's out of sight no matter how loudly he grunts and screams.
So my question is, are these misuse? Or am i misunderstanding the trope somehow?
The thing that prompted me to ask this is that I removed the entry for this trope from the Patapon page thinking it was misuse and Reginald Ogron 5 added it back
with the edit reason saying that it is indeed the correct meaning, despite it being obvious only to the real life player and not anyone in-universe.
resolved can i use the eye scream trope for a page? Videogame
so, the game, my singing monsters, has very little tropes for its characters and, since it's a musical game, there are bound to be unique ways of a character playing its sound. one of the characters, knurv, pulls out its eyes to make its sound. now, i want to add the eye scream trope to its page, but it's not exactly harming the character. do i add it?
resolved Does being a HighTierScrappy disqualify a character from being RescuedFromTheScrappyHeap Videogame
Just now, the user, jnv11, removed
a Rescued from the Scrappy Heap entry from the Street Fighter 6 YMMV page regarding the game's protagonist, Luke, claiming that he's "universally hated" and that him being a High-Tier Scrappy disqualifies him from the trope.
While I've seen some hate for Luke, I've also seen a lot of people say that either like him or used to hate him but now like him, so I wouldn't exactly call Luke "universally hated", especially when he's currently one of the most used characters across the board
, which, if anything, indicates that he's very popular.
Even his High-Tier Scrappy entry doesn't talk about him in a negative manner, and his now deleted RFTSH entry stated that he was only hated for coming off as The Generic Guy in the previous game, which this one rectified.
So him being a High-Tier Scrappy is the one thing that I could see invalidating him being Rescued from the Scrappy Heap, if that's how that works.
So, does being a High-Tier Scrappy disqualify a character from being Rescued from the Scrappy Heap?
Edited by CorvusIXresolved Aigis from Persona 3 got Character-Specific Page too soon. Videogame
I was checking the character sheets for Persona 3 and I noticed that someone had given Aigis her own character-specific page when her character folder is still below 40,000 characters (it's around 30,000 characters at the time I'm writing this).
I know that character-specific pages are allowed if the character count is just below 40,000 or if there's nowhere else to put them or if it covers multiple incarnations of a character. None of these apply to Aigis. She didn't get her own sandbox page before getting a character-specific page.
Can someone help me?
Here's a link to the page. You can verify the byte count if you want.
