resolved A character sheet in Darth Wiki
I just found DarthWiki.Toei Cinematic Universe Characters.
The page is not indexed, has truckload of ZCE, and I'm pretty sure that a characters sheet is not allow on Darth Wiki.
Cut it?
Edit: Also found DarthWiki.Genjitsutouhi Series Characters, also not indexed, but this one has an unpublished work page.
Edited by Kuruniresolved Distance page revival Videogame
I noticed that originally, someone had created a page for the Video Game, Distance, but due to the original author never doing anything about the stubbiness of it, it ended up getting canned. But now, with the Adventure Update out, I feel that it might be time to revive the page, although I think we do need to figure out what tropes to put in it.
I know for a sure that, with the first Adventure Mode, it's a Timed Mission - with there being four hours in-game (which is slightly less in playtime, given that the timer drops quicker during teleporting between sectors than it takes to load) in order to complete the game (although I do not know yet what happens if time runs out) - while the second Adventure Mode, titled "Lost to Echos", basically shows how things have been in Nitronic Rush since when players completed it quite a few years ago (of which Distance is a Spiritual Successor of)
I just am not sure what else to add to the page to make it fleshed out enough for the Wiki Magic to be applied right now, as I'm slightly burned out from what I was doing.
Edited by auroVeeresolved Is Timeline namespace allow for Creator?
I just found Timeline.Electronic Arts. Since the Timelines say Here's the place where you can find the events of works organized into chronological order. (bolded by me), I have feeling that this is misuse.
Plus, the timeline isn't events of EA in chronological order, it's focus on All Developer Studios EA Has Acquired and Later Shut Down(sic).
resolved Change title to link Videogame
This is more of a basic HTML question, but I'm trying to make a page for Rising Storm 2: Vietnam, but whenever I link to it, it is called Rising Storm 2 Vietnam.
How do I change it so the links to it are Rising Storm 2: Vietnam?
T Hank you
resolved Mean character, Nice Actor
Mean Character, Nice Actor is a No Real Life Examples, Please!, so I removed it from James Spader's page. However, it has been added back in a different form. What should be done?
resolved Mean Character Nice Actor
I removed a Mean Character, Nice Actor entry from Rondo Hatton's page due to being NRLEP, but a different entry has been added recently.
resolved Differentiating pages for works with same title
I wanted to launch a page for Huxley's Island (nothing fancy, just a couple of tropes) and it turned out there already is a page for a different novel with the same title. I've seen pages for movies disambiguated with dates of production - is this appropriate? And if so, how I do this? Because that seems to be 201 of wiki editing ;) and I can't find a tutorial.
resolved A trilogy of errors Literature
The Series.North And South US page is at a rather problematic location:
- It has the wrong namespace and wrong title. It should be at Literature.North And South 1982 or Literature.North And South Trilogy. (US/UK disambiguation makes no sense with the two separated by over a century.)
- The current custom title of "North and South (Trilogy)" is a flagrant violation of custom title policy, despite my past attempts to correct it. Regardless of what the page is renamed to, the custom title for the redirect should be changed to fit policy.
If the TV miniseries is split off into its own page, it would be at Series.North And South 1985.
resolved Troper not responding to PM
Warhammer: Age of Sigmar was recently split by Lord Araghast in a way that frankly doesn't make sense to me (25% of the page was split off into 5 subpages, while the other 75% remained on the main page). I sent a PM to this troper asking for an explication, but received no response after a few days, and I don't think I could revert the page without constituting an edit war, for I was the person responsible for organising the page (pre-split) at the first place.
resolved Disambiguation question
If a work shares its name with its first entry and is ineligible for Franchise/, and later sequels are unnumberednote so that "Title 1" disambiguation isn't a viable option, is it safe to say the first entry should usually be disambiguated by year if possible?
(This is intended as a general question, not a question pertaining to any specific work.)
resolved TearJerker on Spongebob Western Animation
TearJerker.Sponge Bob Square Pants currently has a meta section, when Tear Jerker is No Real Life Examples, Please!. I previously removed real life examples from the page, but these seem to be added by different people than the original posts.
resolved New Year Changes
Anyone got the usual list of pages that need to be updated every January?
(Don't forget about the Public Domain cutoffs, as another year's worth of works will need to be added to those indexes...)
resolved BrokenBase entry without 6 months.
I removed a Broken Base from YMMV.Total Drama Rama because it didn't meet the "six months after the release" criteria, but it was added back. I sent them a PM about it, since they said they were unaware of the 6 months rule, but I haven't yet got a response back. Should it be removed again or would it count as edit warring? There's also a Base-Breaking Character entry on the page that also doesn't meet the 6 month requirement.
Edited by costanton11resolved Alphabetizing alternative spellings
When alphabetizing tropes that start with variant spellings of the same word (e.g. Color/Colour), are the variant spellings considered to be the same word?
resolved Troper Works Question Web Original
So I just remembered of the index page, Troper Works, which is for entries that tropers made themselves or were involved in. The stories that I am working on would go in there obviously, but my question stems from this. I had a very small involvement in TOME (the remake). I'm the green ninja pirate player in the first episode of season 2. Since it is only one speaking moment and nothing else, does it still count?
Edited by Zerukinresolved Franchise Fatal Frame: Recreate It? Videogame
The Fatal Frame videogames used to have a Franchise page that would work, but ultimately led to the Videogame page for the games. Overall, it worked just fine because all the games' tropes were listed there. Now that the sequels (Fatal Frame II until Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water) have gotten their own subpages, wouldn't it make sense to make a Franchise/Fatal Frame page again?
This way, the Franchise page can list all of the games and common tropes, with links to the games' own pages, while the Videogame/Fatal Frame page can list only the tropes and information for the first game itself.
resolved TRS question.
Zettai Ryouiki is a commonly-misspelled Japanese term.note As of this writing, there are a ridiculous 160 wicks to the misspelling Zettai Ryouki. Clearly, English-speaking tropers are having trouble spelling the trope name, and it's incomprehensible to anyone who doesn't speak Japanese.
Should it be taken to TRS for these reasons?
resolved redirect is glitched, and link is always red
I just moved Tigtone to Tigtone but the redirect doesn't work correctly and I also notice that links to Tigtone are always red. Are these two problems related and is there a way to fix them?
edit: Fixed!
Edited by legendaryweredragonresolved Angst? What Angst?
I have been curious about this for a while. Angst? What Angst? is labelled as a ymmv trope, yet the way the examples read feel more like it would possibly be a regular trope. That is why I am curious. Can this trope really be considered YMMV? I would like to know what makes it such if so to have a better understanding of it.

(Never mind, guess someone else was edit it)
