It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread

resolved It looks like WaryLioness is ban-evading
Penitent Leopardess 60 started editing today, and here are a
few
examples
of their edits.
This brings to mind a certain troper suspended for doing that.
Plus the username isn't that hard to decipher.
Edited by skan123resolved Pokemon glitch
There seems to be a problem with the Pokemon franchise namespace that changes "Pokemon" into "Pokemon - Crutch Character". Is there a way to fix this?
resolved Another troper with a wonk against a character.
Reddish Guy 1 seems to have a wonk against character Lizel from Kamen Rider Gavv:
- They first added an entry in the Tear Jerker section of the show claiming that "The vast majority of Rider fans seem to have a very easy time not feeling pity for Lizel."
When I reverted it back to what it was since YMMV is still subjective, they removed it again on the basis that it is "not objective"
.
- They replaced this more neutral entry with this
— and particularly the part "the episode is supposed to" makes it feel like a jab against the episode itself.
- Now they're trying to insert
a Karma Houdini entry for her despite it being previously deleted on the basis that the Laser-Guided Karma trope exists in her character page.
resolved Media by one specific high school vs. privacy? Web Original
I've been considering troping one specific piece of media for a while now, but here's my issue: the piece of media in question was made by my high school (it's a series of skits and fake ads for a school event from almost a decade ago), and while this content is publicly available on the Internet, quite honestly, I don't think anyone would know to look for it if they weren't from the school. Should I still trope it?
(Disclaimer: I know TV Tropes goes by the rules of "if it's publicly available and doesn't violate the content policy, it's fine" and "write objectively"; I just have privacy concerns because it's so hyperspecific (e.g. there's Memetic Mutation but it's only among this one specific school's students). Maybe I should keep it off the books or in a sandbox page or something? Looking for advice because one of the skits features an example for a proposed trope on the TLP, and I'm unsure what to do about it.)
Edited by AquaEclipseresolved Video on display no longer playing unless opened
Just this afternoon, I was browsing the page when I noticed: the video at the bottom of the page no longer plays when I scroll down to it; instead it just shows a play icon and won't play until I open the video player. Is this part of an update or such?

resolved Commented-out speculation Western Animation
So kome360 left a commented-out edit
over at Torch the Franchise and Run that reads as follows:
- South Park: Season 27 is Matt and Trey's attempt to get the POTUS to sue them into cancelling the show, which would allow them to default their $1.5 billion contract with Paramount. Each episode is one long insult against the Trump administration. Uncomment this entry if the rage baiting succeeds.
That part about “attempting to get Trump to sue them into cancellation” is just speculation and/or wishful thinking. Not to mention, it’s veering dangerously close to violating ROCEJ.
Edited by ArielLightningresolved Should there be a Take That Cleanup Thread?
So, I was looking through the forums and I've noticed that there isn't a Take That Cleanup Thread that I know of. Should I add a Take That Cleanup Thread?
resolved Was this decided anywhere?
Something that's been bugging me for a while, from The Woobie:
"Also, it's pronounced /ˈwʊbi/ ("WUH-bee"), not /ˈwuːbi/ ("WOO-bee")."
It was added back in 2022, by Cant Not Look At This Site without an edit reason, and has bugged me since I first saw it a week ago. Was this unilaterally added or was the pronunciation discussed somewhere?
resolved Agenda clean-up
How to deal with Useful Notes articles that seem like a pile-up of agenda-posting?
I'm asking specifically for Qing Dynasty article. It reads as if three different people, each with their own politics, tried to one-up each other who's gonna crowbar more of their random tangents into something that is ostentiably an attempt to cover for a specific time period in a specific place. So it's more like a "race" between a libertarian, a nationalist and a pre-Said orientalist than an actual, proper Useful Notes

resolved Is it ok to prematurely write up about a One PIece chapter on TvT?
Asking because Monochromon added context for Chapter 1159 on here, here and here despite the fact that Chapter 1159 is not officially out yet
Edited by lancelot22resolved Unsanctioned Complete Monster Edits
This edit
makes an unsanctioned edit to the Complete Monster entries on the Alien: Covenant YMMV page, with the editing reason that since Prometheus is a separate movie its events shouldn't be referenced. As there's been a moratorium on all additions and alterations to Complete Monster entries for the forseeable future (barring grammar and spelling edits, IIRC), should this be reverted?
resolved Complaining issue on California Doubling Film
NhazUl added an entry to the Film sub-page for California Doubling regarding Captain America: Civil War, which including bashing the filmmakers for choosing to shoot scenes depicting Bucharest in Berlin, but not because it wasn't filmed on location, but because the scenes weren't filmed in parts of the cities that were part of the Soviet sector during the Cold War. When I sent a complaining notifier, I got a rather rude response in which A) they accused me of "tone policing" and B) they doubled down on their edit, and told me to "go stroke Hollywood's ego".
resolved Is it allowed to reuse an image from one character page into another one?
If a character on a character page can also belong on a different character page, can I copy and paste the image used on the original page when making the folder?
resolved I made a redirect a page, but it still says it is a redirect Film
Ripley Under Ground (a film adapting the book of the same name) was previously a redirect to Ripliad (the book series that book is in). I have since made it its own page. However, when I go on the 'Related Pages' section of Ripliad, it still lists Ripley Under Ground as a redirect. This isn't much of an issue since the page for Ripley Under Ground still works fine and everything that links there takes you to the Ripley Under Ground page. I just wondered if it was possible to remove it from the list of redirects on the Ripliad page.

Why do ads keep taking up half the screen on my mobile phone?
