openIndex Correction? Web Original
Several of the subpages for The Magnus Archives (at the very least the characters, heartwarming, funny, and nightmare fuel pages) are indexed under Web Original, while the work itself is a podcast. Do I have to achieve any sort of consensus before re-indexing them, and if so is this a good place to do it?
Edit: I fixed it but I have a follow-up question: while I was moving what pages needed to/could be moved, I discovered that Fanfic Recommendations does not have a Podcast folder but does have an Other folder that includes several podcasts. Can I go ahead and make a Podcast folder, or do I need an okay for that?
Edited by AfterwordopenPossible example Web Original
(Sorry for making so much ATT threads regarding entries i’m just kinda nervous about my contributions and I want to make sure they’re right-)
So I want to add an example for Self-Destruct Mechanism from a You Tube series I’m into, and I just want to make sure it’s a-okay before adding it.
The Final Minutes - Zombie Plague: The Path’s compound locations are fitted with a Magno Loop, an underground ring that acts as the compounds’ defense system. It’s also fitted with Complete Destruction mode, which causes the loop to cycle through all of its defense modes before detonating and vaporizing anything in a 25 kilometer radius.
Here’s the part that the info comes from
, the self destruct mode gets more detail at the 37:13 mark.
openDo Auto-Erotic Troping rules apply to video examples? Web Original
If, for instance, I were to upload a video example from a You Tube Poop that I made myself some years back, would that be banned? Would I link my Tropers page as one of the Sources like I'd link to WebAnimation.Da Things or Creator.cs188 for theirs (since I don't have enough tropable works to my name to justify a Creator subpage — I know There's No Such Thing as Notability, but I have to draw the line somewhere)?

In one Backyard Birds Of Australia video, Cheeky Boy, one of the Laughing Kookaburras, shook himself off to dry, and all his feathers puffed up. Due to having feathers rather than fur, does this count as Fluffy Dry Cat?
Edited by queenieAGopen Not sure or not Web Original
Would Helluva Boss count as a Cosmic Horror Story, or at least Lovecraft Lite, because even in death someone who hates someone else can pay to have them killed in life and it's implied that Heaven may be just as bad as hell itself so any hopes of peace after death may not even exist.

On the recap page for RWBY's final episode for Volume 9
:
- Full Metal Heart 20 added a Surprisingly Realistic Outcome entry tackling Ruby's ascension

- It was deemed misuse by Wyldchyld, who deleted it
about four hours after it was added.
- Full Metal Heart 20 re-added the entry, albeit worded differently
with no given edit reason.
openHandling Fanfic Recs Who Break The "No Self-Recommendations"-rule Web Original
I was told to come here for this question, so I hope it's not a dumb one:
How is the breaking of the "No Self-Recommendations" rule handled in Fanfic Recommendations? Like, if somebody posts a fanfic rec of their own fic, is the entry in question just cut with a provided reason for the entry being cut, or does the user in question also get a warning?
I figure that it's probably just the former, or maybe even cut without having to provide a reason(?) because a self-recommend isn't a big deal in comparison to active policy violations, but I figure that it's better to ask anyway. I just want to know if I can just go ahead and cut such an entry or if there's more of a procedure to it.

In Trivia.Cell Spex, I Knew It! is now YMMV, but it's about CellSpex herself accurately predicting a meme. Should it still be moved to the YMMV page?
openEdit warring troper Web Original
Dr Mc P has repeatedly removed two Shipper on Deck entries from the Critical Role: Wildemount Campaign page on the claim that Shipper on Deck is a YMMV trope (notably both are about the same ship). Vorpoler tried to explain that it isn't but Dr Mc P deleted them again anyway. Dr Mc P eventually added one of the entries back themself but the other is still gone.
openCreator / Work Page Confusion Web Original
The page WebVideo.Loading Ready Live currently acts as a collective works page for the shows that LoadingReadyRun streams on their Twitch channel. The problem is that "LoadingReadyLive" is no longer the name of their Twitch channel, and it hasn't been for quite some time, it's now the name of a specific show.
So what should be done with this page? I see two possible options:
- Rename the page "LoadingReadyRun Streams" and leave everything else the same.
- Overhaul the page to focus exclusively on the "LoadingReadyLIVE" show and move everything else over to WebVideo.Loading Ready Run.
There's also the issue that "LoadingReadyRun" is both the name of the group itself and also the name of their (pre-recorded) comedy sketches. Should we have WebVideo.Loading Ready Run focus just on the sketches and move everything else over to Creator.Loading Ready Run? Or should we make WebVideo.Loading Ready Run Sketches? Or is this one not that big of a deal?
openIndexing Web Original
So i've created a couple new pages and have been trying to add them to their specific indexes, but I can't find the index that they belong too. Like I've been trying to add the Web Video/fan works page to the fanfiction index, but I can't find the fanfiction index itself because everytime I go to the its index, it is just the overview page of what fanfiction is. I feel like i'm doing something wrong. Please help

Self-explanatory. I want to put ROYN as an example of media that uses certain tropes in their respective pages, but the format of the series makes it hard to handle this, so how should I handle this?

openCryptavolt Web Original
There's this You Tuber (not sure if anyone uses that term anymore) called Cryptabolt who is a web voice actor and makes funny videos about Dead by Daylight, mainly revolving around Springtrap. I tried searching it on this site to see if there's a page about them but there wasn't, so I was wondering if I could create the page myself, if it's okay.

So, I was thinking that there should be a page for the YouTube series "Ask Mario". However, I think that would be hard to make all by myself even if I started the page myself, which I could. So, if I do make this page, I would appreciate any help anyone else can offer, be it trope examples or subpages, which this page will definitely need. Please let me know your thoughts and thank you in advance.

openFormatting for a WMG page Web Original
Hi folks, I made a WMG page for the first time ever at Outside Xbox (for the purpose of their TTRPG series' only). I divided some of it by folders as I know is done for some topics on other pages (perhaps getting ahead of myself there) ... but the formatting seems off when I compare it to a couple of other pages of similar sorts. Could anyone please advise? Kind regards - captainmarkle

The "Character Death Consequences" on DEATH BATTLE!'s Fridge page compose almost all of the Fridge Horror section's examples, with only a small handful of examples being about something else in a different folder. However, the show clearly states how the animations are pure Spectacle, with the specifics of the animation not meant to reflect what should happen in a fight. The page itself acknowledges this fact in its Fridge Brilliance section, as does TV Tropes itself in Pantheon.Acts Of War. With how much these examples are bogging the page down, I suggest moving them to a separate page.
