openWesternAnimation/A Christmas Carol Western Animation
Since there are multiple animated adaptations of A Christmas Carol, I moved the one on WesternAnimation.A Christmas Carol to A Christmas Carol (1971) and cross-wicked it. What should be done with the original page? The Main.A Christmas Carol page is a disambiguation page.

openEarth's Mightiest Heroes YMMV Pages Western Animation
Does it still seem possible for someone to send me the content of the deleted YMMV pages for the character sheets, so I could decide which entries seem restoring to YMMV.The Avengers Earths Mightiest Heroes?
Edited by dsneybufopenRealityEnsues/ThePowerpuffGirls Western Animation
Several examples on RealityEnsues. The Powerpuff Girls don't fit the trope, and I'm unsure if there's enough to put there since one episode revolved around it but not many others did. (The Rainbow the Clown thing was also a result of Executive Meddling demanding there be a fight at the end.)
" In "Divide & Conquer," while Blossom and Bubbles are actually paying attention in math class, Buttercup refuses to do so. This inconveniences Buttercup later in the episode when the Amoeba Boys become Not So Harmless Villains by multiplying themselves and she doesn't know how to do division, while Blossom and Bubbles are able to defeat them and save the day by using their math skills."
" Rainbow the Clown suffered an accident that turned him into the sound-and-color-hating "Mr. Mime." He almost succeeds in turning Townsville into a silent, monochromatic wasteland, but the girls set everything right with The Power of Rock. Rainbow's mind is freed from the evil and he thanks the girls for saving him - at which point they beat the tar out of him and have him carted off to jail, because... well... he kinda attacked a lot of people, including the girls." Edited by lalalei2001openPotential gushing via Ms Fanservice Western Animation
I was looking at the characters page for The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes and I noticed multiple female characters have Ms. Fanservice entries attached to them. A lot of the entries boil down to "she's a hot woman in typical superhero/spy garb", and while it's been a while since I've seen the show, I don't remember these specific characters being played up for fanservice. For an example, here's the one I found in Ms. Marvel's folder:
- Ms. Fanservice: She is a beautiful blonde haired woman who wears a costume that highlights her body.
Additionally, while I think she does qualify for the trope, the entry in Madame Viper's folder comes off as a particularly egregious example of gushing/lust:
- Ms. Fanservice: Viper is a very beautiful woman with dark green hair and lipstick who wears a very form-fitting jumpsuit that accentuates her voluptuous yet toned body, buxom breasts, toned broad shoulders, and long toned legs.
I'm pretty sure I should delete and/or rewrite these entries (especially Viper's), but again, I haven't seen the show in a bit, and I wanted a second opinion.
openWarpThatAesop/Disney Western Animation
Months ago, I removed a lot of examples from the Disney Subpage of Warp That Aesop. Most of the examples weren’t even about warping aesops. They were just ccharacter bashing and complaining.
Melancholy Utopia added a lot of the examples back without even vetting the examples.
openManawyddan's edits Western Animation
I've posted
an ATT about Manawyddan before concerning their Values Dissonance edits. Now I've run into them again, and I'm starting to realize their edits have some recurring issues (many of them appearing on Miraculous Ladybug and pages related to it).
To whit, they:
- Have made multiple
edits
on YMMV.Ladybug And Cat Noir The Movie that amount to complaining about both the changes the movie made and Jeremy Zag as a whole.
- Made Values Dissonance edits that don't really qualify for the trope and tread close to violating the ROCEJ, as discussed in the above-mentioned ATT.
- Have a variable grasp on grammar and spelling, and have seemingly made a habit of fixing such on their edits only after they add them to the page.
openRecap page for unreleased episode Western Animation
Someone made a recap page for an episode of Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur (2023) that was blocked from release but leaked online. Just wanna double check and make sure that's a violation of the "no troping leaks" rule (which...honestly feels obvious, but I wanted to make sure) before I banish it to the cutlist.

Why did Lola Loud said, "I'm gonna go down there and give them a piece of my mind!" and "Don't you tell me to quiet down!"?
openVandalism Western Animation
On The Breadwinner, I noticed that troper Gghnh replaced the page quote with "Durrr", which looks like blatant vandalism to me. Should we revert it back and perhaps PM them about this?
openEdit War on YMMV/WhatIfS1E6WhatIfKillmongerRescuedTonyStark Western Animation
Metropolis Gal 2 added an uncited Unfortunate Implications to What If…? S1E6 "What If… Killmonger Rescued Tony Stark?". It got commented out, but they deleted the commenting markup. It is currently commented out again, and the two commenters-out were separate tropers, so only Metropolis was warring.
openEpisode listing issue Western Animation
So, I was editing some of the pages for Ren & Stimpy "Adult Party Cartoon", when I saw that the episode "Man's Best Friend" was listed in a few of the examples. Thing is, it's nowhere to be found on the recap page for Adult Pary Cartoon, but it is found on the recap page for the original series (and it's partnered with another episode of the original series, to boot).
Normally, I would move the episode to its proper page, but there is one issue that makes this a bit tricky to solve: the episode, while produced for the original series, was banned from airing with the original series due to its graphic nature, and it ended up airing with Adult Party Cartoon. I don't know if the DVDs or reruns on NickRewind air it alongside the original show, and I'm unsure whether to put it with Adult Party Cartoon or the original series. Thoughts?

openPermission to Remove Hate Sink Entry? Western Animation
Can I please have permission to remove a Hate Sink entry for a character (yes, I know he's controversial) who qualifies for several of its Sub-Tropes? (In case this needs to be mentioned Sub-Trope states that a Super-Trope shouldn't be listed if a Sub-Trope is already listed.)
The story behind it is that, sometime ago, I deleted said Hate Sink entry and stated in my edit reason that Hate Sink is now a Super-Trope. I also mentioned the character already has several of its Sub-Tropes listed. However, Rileybrant 20 (who has been brought up here before
) added it back later, and they clearly ignored my original edit reason as they didn't reference it when re-adding the entry. (I would link to the edits in question. However, at least for me, the links don't directly take you to them.)
Later, I asked about this issue on the Hate Sink clean up thread
in which I asked if I could remove this entry. However, the other day, another troper told me I might want to take this issue here instead.
openEdit War on Miraculous Ladybug Recap Western Animation
There's an edit war ongoing on Miraculous Ladybug S04E19 "Simpleman" between ~Dominek 93 and a couple of other tropers.
- Didn't Think This Through: Happens once again with Shadow Moth. He fails to take into account that he too could be affected by Simpleman's power, which fires a wave which doesn't discriminate targets, meaning Shadow Moth is close enough to get caught in the wave. Although his behaviour does not seem to change at all under influence of the wave...
Dominek keeps re-adding the final line back into the entry even though it was previously commented out and is apparently under discussion. I think that the other tropers involved may not technically be edit warring because they're repairing the example, but the notes left in the edit reasons are starting to get heated.
Edit: The page's edit history
, the last several things are all this edit war.
openMy Little Pony A New Generation Western Animation
I am weary about two entries for the new movie. Both seem to erring on the negative and complaining side. Also I am not sure how well the entries fit the trope. Therefore, I am asking here.
WesternAnimation. My Little Pony A New Generation
- Contrived Coincidence: Izzy just happens to come to Maretime Bay and kick off the plot right after Canterlogic's annual showcase, and then one day later the royal celebration also happens to take place at Zephyr Heights, so Sunny and Izzy are lucky to go there and have an opportunity to easily steal the crown (,though that sadly doesn't work out). If the unicorns weren't so lifeless and dull they'd probably have another big event happening right after to go along with the other events already happening with the earth ponies and pegasi around the same time.
For the first part, Izzy coming on the day of the showcase doesn't really mean anything. The properganda is so strong, she could have come the day before or the day after and the same thing would have still happened. The second thing about Zephyr Hights having a celebration where they can (not easily) steal the crown is in fact a little coincidental and may count. However the last part is just natter and sounds like a complaint.
YMMV.My Little Pony A New Generation
- Ass Pull: Sunny's speech at the end may have gotten the seniors of the three tribes to see the error of their ways and choose friendship over bigotry, and it's quite similar to the speech Twilight had at the climax of G4's finale. But there's no in-story explanation or foreshadowing for how Sunny realized that bringing ponies together was the key rather than bringing the crystals together, making it seem to come out of nowhere.
I admit I am not sure, but there is just something off about this statement. Not to mention it is a sequel to a show that literally has friendship is magic as its theme so did it really come not of nowhere?
Edited by LadyErinNYopenYoung Justice character pages Western Animation
The Characters.Young Justice 2010 subpages are duplicated on Characters.Young Justice (all the character subpages in the menu). It looks like they were disambiguated, but no redirects or link-fixing followed. Is anyone still working on these?

Caidin added something onto Limited Wardrobe's example on the 27th which was wholly unrelated to clothing or seemingly the show in general. I axed it, but they just added it back today.
Further research shows that all five edits they've made on this page pertain to that same thing.

When adding a work to a trope page, you're not supposed to group examples from unrelated shows together right?
Because on Snark Bait, The Jayman 49
