openorder of examples Webcomic
Hi,
I searched and didn't find an answer to this, though I'm sure it must be written somewhere because your how-to-pages are great. I was wondering how examples are ordered in a given trope and a given folder. And, as I couldn't find a logic in the ones I looked at, where do I put a new example? Do I put it before the existing ones, because it's new and people will notice it better? Or after the existing ones because that's how it's done? Or somewhere else because there's a kind of order I didn't understand?
... Well, it's fun to be here anyway, glad to have found this site.
open"Bad" Comics for Inspiration? Webcomic
Here's the sitch - I've got me this fantasy story. The main character is your typical determined hero who is optimistic, a bit on the uncouth side, and not necessarily the brightest academic wise (but very knowledgeable in the emotional departments). It takes place in a grand fantasy world and follows this character and her troupe of friends in a slice-of-life/comedy/adventure story thats main priorities are character and situation interactions. How will ——- and ——- deal with ——-? What does ——- really think of ——-? How will ——- react when they find out ——-'s secret? Things like that.
While making this, I was inspired by comics like One Piece and Fairy Tail, two series that I enjoyed because of how much the characters and the world entertained me. The richness of the fictional worlds, the character's personalities and emotions, the relationships and their effects on others, and the problem-solving skills used when facing a formidable foe are all very interesting to me and things I really want to focus on. However, I've recently discovered that these comics, the ones that led me to identify all that I wanted in my own, are being criticized for lacking depth, being too generic, and overall just being bad. I'm not a critic myself, and I'm fairly new to storytelling. I just want to make a good, well-written story that lets people feel good while reading it, something fun for people to read. But if I were to adhere to a similar formula as these, if I were to take inspiration from these stories and make what I'd like...Would that be bad? Would nobody like it? Would it be shallow of me as a writer?
What elements from stories like these would I want to avoid? What are these weak points I hear about? Should I even be looking at these for inspiration? I just want to make a story that entertains people, and I can't do that if it's filled to the brim with flaws and writing cliches. Nobody would like it, and I can't stand producing things of poor quality. It wouldn't be any fun to do.
Edited by JambeeBeauxopen What would this trope be? Webcomic
http://parasitegalaxy.webcomic.ws/OurCharacterSoFar/%22
As I was reading Parasite Galaxy's character page I noticed the author seems to show support for communism as the protagonist is portrayed as having his sister in the Wapan Imperial Secret Police and I suspect that they don't think much of America because the name of the main villain(so far) is close to a meme-ish nickname of America. Would this be considered a broken Aesop? or Anvilicious? or is it a propaganda piece?
To be fair I have only just started reading it and clicked on the character sheet where I read more about the characters and maybe I'm reading too much into the names but I thought I'd ask anyway to maybe gain insight
openI made a page for my Pokemon Mystery Dungeon comic. Webcomic
I made a page for Pokemon Mystery Dungeon comic, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Strong Hearts, and I put it in some index pages, but it's not showing up in the index bar at the bottom of the page. How do I fix that?

Is The Caretaker Of The Ruins an actual thing? There's no link to it on the trope page.
openThe old Growth Spurt page. Webcomic
Apparently the entire page just up and disappeared, as can be seen here. https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Webcomic/GrowthSpurt
I honestly don't know what " Pages In Accidentally Miscapitalised Namespaces First Half" is, but is there any way to bring it back?
openWebcomic or Manga? Webcomic
I've been creating work pages for a mangaka. She started out online but now some of her works are published volumes as well. I just wonder when should I use the Manga namespace/index and when should I use the Webcomic namespace/index?
open "Dewclaw" webcomic Webcomic
So, I would like to know if anyone here has ever heard of a comic from the early 2000s called "Dewclaw". I couldn't find any reference to it on TV Tropes; The original site went offline several years back, but then was resurrected as a sort of archive called www.dewclawproject.com. I was wondering if y'all would like to check it out. It's by a guy named Matt Johnson, and I originally learned about it while reading a book called "Digital Art: Painting with Pixels". Anyway, just thought I'd ask about it here. Thanks!
openCopyright of pictures Webcomic
I'm currently working to polish up the character sheet of the webcomic "Yet Another Fantasy Gamer Comic", and I want to add a picture for each character. I have asked the author, Rich Morris, for permission to use extracts of his comic strips, and he said it was okay. I'm not sure about the copyright specification though. Do I have to note the author somewhere when I upload a picture to T Vtropes? Do I have to link every picture to the origin site?
openStupid Short Eevee Comic Webcomic
I happened to have heard of this comic and was curious if it had an article here, so via Google I found this: Stupid Short Eevee Comic
Yeah it's a complete stub, no wicks or crosswicks, no indexing, and obviously it wasn't run through the launch pad. The history shows Troper kome360
created the page (if said page never was cut before). Before this article is put on the chopping block, I'd figure to relay this here just in case.
openThe World Is Flat - example list Webcomic
Does The World is Flat have an exception from Weblinks Are Not Examples? Nearly all of the examples are just weblinks, but it is used so often for our trope depictions that I wouldn't be surprised if it had a special exception from the rule.

How do I title this page? This is for the webcomic 6-Commando
(Military and Warfare Comics). Should I just title it "Six Commando"? Please advise.
