openMistake with page naming (answered) Videogame
(Question has been answered, feel free to ignore.) I made a page for Has Been Heroes but forgot to add the hyphen in the title. Should I just make a redirect or should I do something else?
Here is the page if that helps:

Also, I'm new here. Hi!

The DemonophobiaGuess.png picture is still on TV Tropes' server up there. Can you please delete it, too? I only created the Laconic page to show something... even if it's far from something.
Edited by BreakinBennyopenDarthWiki's Non-functional Image Links for Senran Kagura Videogame
I don't really know how to do these things, but I just wanted to say that the first three blue links, and possibly more afterwards, are not working for this page. https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/NightmareFuel/SenranKagura
I think mangapark, which is the site the links would link to, is dead or down.
I don't know if this is the right way to report this or whatever, but if there's a button for it, I couldn't find it, so here I am.
openSuggesting material Videogame
I'd like to add a something to the God of War (2018) page of tropes. Specifically to the Nightmare Fuel page. I don't want to add it myself. I only want to point this thing out to a troper who had previously worked on/edited the God of War Nightmare Fuel page.
open The cutlist Videogame
May a moderator or someone else on this website please delete the Star Wars The Clone Wars video game page? I feel that it is unnecessary for a video game that this to have a tv tropes page.

I was wondering if I could create a section for fanfic recommendations on the Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon page, how do I do that?
Edited by ikcatcheropen I wasn't able to find this cliche... Videogame
Hi there! I'm loving this site!
I'm not sure if this this is already on a page somewhere, but I've noticed that MANY 3-D video games have gratuitous usage of steep, out-of-place cliffs to close off areas the player isn't supposed to explore. Hyrule Field, the entry level of Super Mario Galaxy, Crock, and Crash Bandicoot among others come to mind. It's like an invisible wall, only the jarringly visible kind. I found this cliche widespread enough to be worth recognition!

openExpy vs. counterpart comparison? Videogame
Under the character entry for Lillie from Pokémon Sun and Moon, it says this:
"Expy: Of N from Pokémon Black and White. Both are characters which are mysterious at first with a sad backstory with an awful parent of the same gender who leads the local villainous team. Both credit their friendship with the protagonist as the reason for the drastic changes in worldview they undergo over the course of their respective games, but leave Unova/Alola at the end of the game. Both also befriend the legendary of the game."
And Armie Buff from Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Spirit of Justice has this:
"Expy: Of Vera Misham from the fourth game. Both girls are Hikikomori due to traumatic pasts, have practically genius-level skills in specific fields, and ultimately become Spanners in the Works against their fathers' killers."
While their life stories do have similarities, it's not overt enough to be an expy, but they were made by the same creators, so I'm reluctant to call it a Counterpart Comparison. Is there any trope that fits this better or will one or the other do?
Edited by SynchronicityopenShould this be cut? Videogame
Someone made the character page for the CCG "Rage of Bahamut", as well as a note on the main page saying "Now has character page, needs work on it." However, they added no actual content to said character page, only the sentence "Character trope list for Rage of Bahamut."
I find it unlikely that there actually will be anything added to the page, since the person who created it hasn't done anything since making it on March 20th, the game was a CCG and didn't really have "characters" (the few characters from events that had minor characterization - who were only around for an event or two - could easily be covered with a single trope or two on the main page), and most importantly, the English version of the game shut down over a year ago, so unless someone playing the Japanese version of the game wants to add something (the page has barely been touched since the English version of the game closed and none of the edits have been related to the Japanese version), it's unlikely anyone's going to come up with enough content from memory to make a character page.
Edited by DawnwingopenTwo ''Final Fantasy VII'' pages Videogame
There are TWO Final Fantasy VII pages. One uses the "Video Game" namespace, but the second, accessed through this link, uses the "Sandbox" namespace.
I think we should cut the "Sandbox" one, but I'd like an opinion.
openWord Cruft Videogame
Captain JJC had added a lone sub-bullet paragraph to expand an example in ThatOneBoss. The Legend Of Zelda, which was rife with Word Cruft and a piece of This Troper. I eliminated those issues and sent an Issue Helper to the troper, but they edit-warred by readding the cruft part ("Here is where it all becomes sinfully clever"), while also insisting in the edit reason that they "did not break any rules". I'm afraid I can't remove again the cruft part without bringing the issue to the troperbase. And because of my currently-limited Internet plan, I may not be here to do the revert after solving this query anyway.
openWikipedia quoting Videogame
The description for LittleBigPlanet includes a large (paragraph-long) Wikipedia quote. It includes attribution, so it's not technically plagiarism, but still...is that kosher?
openAdding a Head scratcher Videogame
I apologize for this potentially dumb question as I am new to this site. I was browsing some head scratchers and had a question of my own, and wanted to add another bullet point to start a new topic. The only resource I found for this was "new topic" but this only seemed to post it on a separate page, not the one people are posting and replying to. Any way you can help with that? Thanks.
openIs it alright to add a male counterpart to the Third-Person Seductress page? Videogame
I want to look into making a redirect to the Third Person Seductress page, as I've found credible male counterpart examples (Third Person Seducer) that fit exactly with the trope (Solid Snake of Metal Gear Solid, Nathan Drake of Uncharted, Chris Redfield of Resident Evil to name a few), but I got my contributions and examples erased by another troper claiming that my entries were invalid due to their explanation of the trope being a double standard (despite it being featured nowhere on the page), with the troper acknowledging the male examples, but disregarding them anyway due to this inexplicable "Double Standard" apparently applied to this trope.
So I must ask you, is it okay to add a male redirect and examples to this trope? Am I in the wrong for doing so?
Edited by aureolindaysopen Edit war, bad edits. Videogame
Dragon95 is making some bad edits on the character pages for Fate Grand Order regarding both information accuracy and edit quality. I asked him to stop in what was intended to be a polite manner, but he seems to have taken it as a personal attack and may be starting an edit war. I'm asking for help here now since I don't think there's much I can do in this situation.
Also, I haven't used this section in years so please let me know if I'm just supposed to pm a mod or something about this. Don't really remember how that works.
Edited by ArhaopenCan I make another JFF page for Super Smash Bros? Videogame
I'm thinking of adding a "Character Ideas" JFF page to Super Smash Bros so we can present all our great ideas. I don't know if I'm allowed to do that, so I'm asking first.
openVandalism on Trivia.PuyoPuyo? Videogame
It looks like troper Flare Habanero deleted, without reason, a seemingly legitimate bullet point of the Promoted Fanboy trope. There's no reason listed but it seems to just be vandalism relating to some internet drama.
openFranchise/Tales Series Videogame
The Franchise/Tales Series page has been cut for the reason of "Misused Franchise/ redirect [nombretomado] " I'm not quite sure what this means. Should it be recreated?
Edited by y2k890

The page Final Combat specifically prohibits users from explaining the gameplay at all. It says that there will not be a long description of the game to prevent internet wars.
Is there really no way to talk about the gameplay without causing arguments? I still think it's possible to talk about the game in a neutral manner and I'm just curious as to why this hasn't been done yet.
