openHow do I put numbers in a page title? Music
I'm trying to name this page the way it should be labeled. It's supposed to be "2 Brothers on the 4th Floor" but it won't let me say that. So for now it's "Two brothers on the 4th Floor" which looks awkward. I would like to know how I could move this page, and give it it's proper wording.
Here's the page I need help on.

openHow do you properly write something in Awesome Music Music
It seems no matter how hard I try, there's always something wrong when I try to write things in a page's "Awesome Music" tab. Now, I actually do make mistakes in my writing, and I always go back and correct them all. I also keep the Notifiers I receive in mind and have improved since then. But somehow it's still not enough.
I describe each song with as much detail as necessary, I use proper grammar, and I also index everything. What else am I missing?
Here's an example of one of the Awesome Music pages I wrote Afrojack.
Edited by surname4uopenTwo questions Music
1. Could a Tear Jerker apply to something really happy (to make you cry tears of joy), or would it be considered Heartwarming?
2. I wrote this recently for the Starstylers page. Has my writing in terms of Awesome Music improved? Just making sure I'm doing this right. Starstylers
open"Duplicate examples" between album YMMV pages and musical artist Moments pages Music
When I created a Nightmare Fuel page for The Downward Spiral, I removed all of the Moments item examples in its YMMV page due to them already being mentioned (with better detail, on top of that) in the Moments pages of its band Nine Inch Nails. Then Time Lord Victorious came in and re-added the Tear Jerker entry for the song "Hurt" (albeit with an even shorter description) in The Downward Spiral's page.
What I want to ask is, what's the policy on including album-specific examples on both the album's YMMV page and the Moments pages for the artist (when the album doesn't have its own page for the itemnote The Downward Spiral currently doesn't have pages for Moment of Awesome, Funny Moments, Heartwarming Moments and Tear Jerker, just Nightmare Fuel)? And, based on the re-add of the "Hurt" entry, is an edit war at play here?

Do we not have any general pages covering Tribute Acts and/or Cover Bands? Honestly feel like pages relating to music in general could be better organized.
openProgressive Country Music
I have a question. The Progressive Rock article lists Progressive Soul artists on the list. Would Progressive Country artists be listed there as well, since Progressive Country has similar attributes to Progressive Soul (e.g. if Progressive Soul is Prog Rock but Soul/Funk, Progressive Country is Prog Rock but Country), or no? I'm not sure there are many major Prog Country artists with articles on this site.
open Anyone know this song/poem? Music
I just stumbled across the Pumpkin Person trope, and it reminded me of a song/poem I heard when I was in grade school back in Australia in the tail end of the 90s. But all I can remember are a few lyric fragments; "When the jack-o-lanterns go, marching softly to and fro", and "Oh-oh-oh-oh here we creep! When the world is fast asleep!" "Marching off (out?) - to frighten you!" Obviously, it's a bit of a long shot, but I thought I'd throw this query out and see if anybody else could remember it.
I think it was part of a book that included a poem/song called Jingle-Jangle-Jent, which I remember mentioned a "druid fond of fluid" and a "Roman fond of roaming", but I don't really remember anything more than that...
openNox Arcana YMMV Music
First and foremost, this is my first time asking a question to the powers that be, so I apologize in advance in case I'm writing this in the wrong place or doing anything else wrong. With that out of the way, here's my issue. I wrote something about their track "Shock Treatment", and somebody changed it to "Shock Therapy". I know for a fact that the word is treatment, not therapy, and I tried changing it back, only to see it re-changed. I've already been suspended once for an Edit War, and I don't want to risk having that happen again. So, I just want to have this issue settled properly.
open Can someone link me a trope like this Music

Edited by fragranceeopenHow do I alphabetize this? Music
I was looking over one of the ...Get a Stupid Answer pages (Music A To M) and saw that one entry was listed under the album title (Are You Experienced) rather than the artist (The Jimi Hendrix Experience). I'd move it to its proper place, but I'm not sure whether it should be put under "J" for "Jimi" or "H" for Hendrix. Any advice?
openSo Bad Its Horrible: The Clash? Music
There seems to be some debate in Music: Albums over whether or not Cut the Crap by The Clash belongs there. It's apparently been added and deleted twice. I've never listened to the album in question, so I can't speak for its quality. What say you?
Edited by BKelly95openAdditions to a Music Trope Category - Heavy Mithril & Filk Music
Hello! I'm wondering what the rules are about adding examples to a trope? I know of a few bands/recordings that might be suited to be added to the Heavy Mithril category (ie. Heather Alexander's folk rock band Phoenyx,) and a few that are suited to the Filk category, which are not listed; and I also can add some information to some of the existing listings (ie. the song Julia Ecklar is best known for.) What are the criteria to determine if something is worthy of adding?
Also, I dabble in both genres myself; would it be rude to add my own stuff if I'm realistic about it? It's not very well known, but it does exist.
Thanks in advance!
openWhere should Filk songs go? Music
I've noticed that some filk song artists (such as Miracle of Sound) are in two difference folders for some tropes such as Villain Song is in both fan works and web originals.
So my question is where should filk artists go music (because that is the form of content they make), Web Original (Often where their content is released) or somewhere between.

openFormatting question Music
Album pages typically include the tracklist, but there seems to be disagreement over how to introduce it. When I make an album page, I put "Tracklist:" in bold to distinguish it from the Examples header, but some other editors seem to prefer the !! markup.
For example, someone has changed the headers on all the Taylor Swift album pages from
Tracklist:
to
Tracklist:
So which is correct?
Edited by joanofdirtopenWhich folder? Music
I was looking over Driving Song and I noticed that David Morgan's "Drive" (the theme song to Hardcastle and McCormick) wasn't listed. I considered adding it, but I'm not sure whether to put it under its actual musical genre or live-action television (due to being a theme song). How do I do this?
openFridge.Music Cleanup Music
After a few recent visits to Fridge.Music, I thought is was overdue for cleanup. So, I made an attempt at that over the last week or two, alphabetizing the entries by artist (where available), rewording some entries to remove This Troper, removing Natter, turning artists' names into links (some of which came out red), and also commenting out a couple of entries that came across as Zero Context Examples.
However, I think I might need some help with what's left. If you'd like to see the extent of what I've done so far, the link's above and the alphabetical order starts with 3OH!3.
First off, I've seen a lot of entries for songs from movies and musicals. Should those be moved to pages about those movies and musicals?
Edited by BKelly95openMore Fridge.Music Cleanup Music
My efforts to clean up Fridge.Music have most recently moved a number of entries from movies and theater to Fridge pages for those media.
Now, I can see a few entries which might be too general. Specifically, I'm talking about these:
- Why do so many Japanese songs have upbeat melodies but depressing lyrics? It's because it's an "in the moment" song. The times between the people mentioned in this song are good, but there are also bad times, and even with those still going on, it makes the good times even sweeter. Even if there's a melancholy to the lyrics, the song stays upbeat because the "memories" that come with them are worth it.
- A fridge brilliance for Techno (this stripped-down, dark and robotic subgenre of electronic music): why was there no melodies, cool fat synths like in Electro-House? 'Cause it's made for live performance. Live, cool synths often get completely squashed: only remains the drums and the bassline, which are THE elements that will make a human dance.
- Patron is an expensive brand of tequila that has made its way into a lot of rap/r&b lyrics. The thought that, because a bottle costs so much, Patron was popular with music artists because of this association with the excess of success. Then realizing that Patron just rhymes with a lot of words. You can make a similar case for Henny and Goose, or Grey Poupon.
- You bought a CD from a band you are discovering, you sit down to listen to it and you hate it; you kindly toss it to a corner of your room. Some day later, you found out you are humming one of the songs, so you listen to the CD again and boom! It rocks! What a good record! This may or may not happen to you if you listen to Green by R.E.M. and / or The Soft Parade by The Doors.
Are any of these salvageable?

The page Triple-Q was cut for not having tropes. I thought of some tropes that could be added to it, so could someone revive the page so I can add the tropes?
