It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread

openSimultaneous use of two tropes Anime
Goodnight. I wanted to ask if Supporting Harem and Unwanted Harem overlap each other? Especially in a situation where the main guy and the girl are already in love with each other and the guy never considers other girls as Love Interest and does not find it interesting.
Edited by LittleBusteropenThe hidden note from Gundam Seed Destiny Anime
I'm not sure is this the right place to ask, but here goes.
There's a hidden note in Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny. While I can see why it's here, it doesn't follow the style of any other notes on this very site as it's pretty demanding.
Now here' s my question, can I alter it or do I need a permission? I removed a hidden note before as I felt it was unnecessary, only to get called out by a user.
For those who are curious, here's the note.
!!Fellow tropers: TV Tropes is a wiki dedicated to compiling story and character tropes, not attesting your fiery hatred for every single aspect of a particular show. So before you add yet another complaint about Gundam SEED Destiny, take a closer look at the list; aren't there enough complaints already? Complaining isn't going to make the show better. Instead, why don't you just pour yourself some chocolate milk, pop a few anti-depressants, and re-watch Gundam SEED or another Gundam series of your choice until your crippling rage subsides.!!
openSTRX Anime
Tropers/STRX just uncommented some ZCEs
on Characters.Kira Kira Precure A La Mode. While they did add context for some tropes, three of them did not receive any new context. Specifically, Badass Baritone, Badass Cape, and Cool Mask; the former two added nothing whatsoever whereas the latter added stuff that didn't explain how the trope is applied.
I am also reporting them on grounds of rudeness from their edit reason.
openThe character index for the Pokemon Anime is a bit awkward Anime
I don't get why there needs to be two separate character pages.
Edited by Retlocliveopen Creating TV Tropes page for Alphapolis Anime
I want to create a TV Tropes page for the Japanese publishing company Alphapolis, who's famous for popularizing and publishing web novels featuring the Isekai genre (Trapped, transported or reincarnated to another world stories). But i'm not sure where should i put the Alphapolis page.
openNear Edit War in Made in Abyss character page Anime
In this page
Chef Failure is causing editing mistakes in his work such as adding too many spaces next to coding making the page look odd and when I fixed them he put it like how it was before I changed it. This really needs sorting out because it's messing up how the page looks. I did send a PM.
EDIT: He apologised.
Edited by ReynTime250openBest way to split a page? Anime
I've been thinking about splitting LightNovel.Slayers into separate articles for anime and light novels, and setting up a franchise page (there's a page for a spin-off game, and after the split there will be three mediums). However, the series suffers from some serious Continuity Snarl, and I'm unsure how to split it. To elaborate, the so-to-say, "core part" of the series consists of:
- A set of 17 "mainline" novels
- An anime that adapts first 8 of these novels
- Three original anime seasons
The best I came up with is to leave novels-only tropes on the existing page, move anime-only tropes to their own pages, and move universal tropes (applying to the first 8 novels or 2 first seasons of anime) to the franchise page. Would it be the right course of actions?
Edited by Veriamoopen Is this a valid MEH? Anime
Reposting this since I didn't get a response in the Moral Event Horizon Cleanup Thread.
So there's this entry for Bleach in the Anime and Manga section of Moral Event Horizon that I would like to bring up.
- Sosuke Aizen has had many candidates for these. What's arguably the worst of them all? Using his powers to fool Hitsugaya into thinking he's stabbing him...when in reality, the one he's stabbing is Momo Hinamori, Aizen's own ex-lieutenant, as well as the person Hitsugaya has sworn to protect. Hitsugaya's horrified screams as the illusion breaks and sees what he has done to Momo are EPIC. So monstrous. So cruel. Guess he'll still have his leather pants on, though. Once he becomes a deity, he decides to butcher Ichigo's home town by having his aura eradicate anyone near him, killed Gin in a brutal matter and planned to hang Tatsuki just to see Ichigo's reaction.
Now I believe there's a scene where after Aizen reveals to Hinamori that he's alive, he hugs her, only to stab her and leave her to die (For reference, the Hitsugaya example happens in Chapter 392 (episode 293) while Aizen stabbing Hinamori is in Chapter 168 (episode 60)). If that's the case, then should Aizen stabbing Hinamori be Aizen's MEH or the example where he manipulates Hitsugaya into stabbing his friend? Or is there something else I might be missing considering I'm not that familiar with the manga? Thanks.

Edited by EverblasteropenZero Context Example or not? Anime
Duncril01 removed
a commented out note flagging the Star-Crossed Lovers as a Zero-Context Example, since it only lists the characters' names and doesn't explain how they qualify for the trope — or even use a complete sentence.
Should the entry be re-commented out until proper context is added?
Edited by Arawn999openReverting a previous edit? Anime
https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Characters/BakiTheGrappler
The character page for this series looks to have been completely deleted by the last editor. Is there a way to just undo that?
opencan we delete this? Anime
so I was just scrolling though the Yugioh pages and the fridge page
for Go Rush!! doesn't seem like a fridge page, so much as a conversation between 2 people on their interpretations of the show. Which as pointed out by the sub bullet under the main bullet makes no sense and why someone even put it up?
openCustom title Anime
Manga/ItsMyLifeByImomushiNarita is custom titled to It's My Life (Imomushi Narita), which drops the "by" from the URL to replace it with brackets. Is this an appropriate way of custom titling, or should the page be moved to Manga. Its My Life Imomushi Narita?
openCreating an Index Anime
Selecting "anime" because "theatre" isn't an option.
I created a TLP entry for 2.5D Stage Plays
, which are anime/manga/game-based, or anime-style, stage plays, mostly in Japan. It's getting to be a really big thing, and I feel like TVT should have a page for it, just in order to be comprehensive about what media there is in the world. There are other niches, including non-English niches, that have index pages, so why shouldn't 2.5D?
However, it doesn't seem like TLP is the right place to put this suggestion. So, I was wondering where else I should go to suggest this. Something like the page for Jukebox Musical. Is that considered a trope?
(For more information about 2.5D, The Other Wiki
, Japan 2.5D Musical Association
. According to the Japanese article I linked in the main section, there were 194 2.5D plays produced in 2018.)

Just a note: This user keeps adding Stoic Woobie to the Yu-Gi-Oh Main Characters character sheet. I've edited it out several times and explained that zero-context YMMV tropes don't go on a character sheet, but they keep returning once every few months to add it again.
