Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.

openPossible bashing and off-topic stuff on WMG.VeganArtbook Webcomic
WMG.Vegan Artbook. Here's the entry for the "Once they've killed all the humans who disagree with them, the vegans will turn on other carnivores" theory:
There are a lot of animals who eat meat too. To protect the herbivores (whom they've already killed all of humanity for) they'll kill all the omnivores and carnivores. This, of course, will lead to a horrific environmental catastrophe as the predator-free animals eat all the vegetation and then starve to death.
- [Yerdian voice] "Lions, tho." But, on a more serious note: a lot of militant vegans—Yerdian included—do seem to have a disconnect regarding predators, or at least a refusal to acknowledge that the very existence of predators pokes big holes
in their dogma. (Although it should probably be noted that Yerdian thinks cats can be vegan.)
I deleted the bullet point with the edit reason "Removed an irrelevant bullet point that only served to bash vegans". It was restored with the justification that "Except it's not "bashing vegans." The word "militant" is significant. And the link in question IS relevant to the topic." I still don't think it belongs. The page is supposed to be about the work — not whether real-life vegans' attitudes towards predators make sense. Who's right here?
I'm unsure if the "The comic isn't meant to be taken seriously" theory belongs on the page at all. It seems like work bashing. It's not the only case of that I've seen either (WMG.The Legend Of The Titanic has an entry claiming the movie is a false-flag operation to discredit anti-whaling groups, for instance). Similarly, the (good) "The events of Pupa Vegan 319
were all one big frame-up." theory has a natter-y bullet point with work bashing and author bashing.
openStupid Short Eevee Comic Webcomic
I happened to have heard of this comic and was curious if it had an article here, so via Google I found this: Stupid Short Eevee Comic
Yeah it's a complete stub, no wicks or crosswicks, no indexing, and obviously it wasn't run through the launch pad. The history shows Troper kome360
created the page (if said page never was cut before). Before this article is put on the chopping block, I'd figure to relay this here just in case.
openCopyright of pictures Webcomic
I'm currently working to polish up the character sheet of the webcomic "Yet Another Fantasy Gamer Comic", and I want to add a picture for each character. I have asked the author, Rich Morris, for permission to use extracts of his comic strips, and he said it was okay. I'm not sure about the copyright specification though. Do I have to note the author somewhere when I upload a picture to T Vtropes? Do I have to link every picture to the origin site?
openUnreality Webcomic
About two weeks ago, I stumbled onto the stub page Webcomic.Unreality, which 1) was made by the comic's writer, one Kiyan Shahab
, 2) had no examples, and 3) had a YMMV page with one non-YMMV item, made by said writer. I messaged the guy, telling him it needed examples and linking him to How to Create a Work's Page, before throwing the YMMV page on the Cut List.
His response was to add a single trope example and nothing else, indicating he did not take a look at the relevant rules and/or is not really interested in heeding those rules. So, I'm thinking a mod needs to chat with him, but should I just Cut List the page in the meantime?
open "Dewclaw" webcomic Webcomic
So, I would like to know if anyone here has ever heard of a comic from the early 2000s called "Dewclaw". I couldn't find any reference to it on TV Tropes; The original site went offline several years back, but then was resurrected as a sort of archive called www.dewclawproject.com. I was wondering if y'all would like to check it out. It's by a guy named Matt Johnson, and I originally learned about it while reading a book called "Digital Art: Painting with Pixels". Anyway, just thought I'd ask about it here. Thanks!
openWebcomic or Manga? Webcomic
I've been creating work pages for a mangaka. She started out online but now some of her works are published volumes as well. I just wonder when should I use the Manga namespace/index and when should I use the Webcomic namespace/index?
openThe old Growth Spurt page. Webcomic
Apparently the entire page just up and disappeared, as can be seen here. https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Webcomic/GrowthSpurt
I honestly don't know what " Pages In Accidentally Miscapitalised Namespaces First Half" is, but is there any way to bring it back?
openMisuse of the FanWorks/ namespace. Webcomic
I have a problem with FanWorks.Nuzlocke Comics. The page is used as a compilation of tropes for Fanfic or Fan Comics for Nuzlocke Comics.
Normally, this namespace is used as an index for Fan Works present on the wiki. Each of these works should have their own page, either in Fanfic/ or Webcomic/, not gathered in one place. However, they lack enough description to make proper page right now. What should be done with this?
openBlur-the-Lines Webcomic
As I was browsing on the comic "Blur the Lines'' some time, I noticed that the last comic posted was on Easter 2015. And now, as I checked the site, it says "Domain Name Expired".
I could help, but 1) My load is full; and 2) I could mess the layout of the page.
openFanfic/TheCaretakerOfTheRuins Webcomic
Is The Caretaker Of The Ruins an actual thing? There's no link to it on the trope page.
openAn Artical Possibly in a Wrong Namespace Webcomic
Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Victory Fire
I recently had come across this comic on the internet, but since I'm a new reader, I have no idea if this webcomic has any history pre-2012 (like if it started as a Fan Fic and then became a webcomic). So my question is this: Is this article possibly in the wrong namespace? If it is, then this article belongs the Webcomics namespace. Also I'm a novice, so I'm not comfortable trying to move pages by myself currently.
openChris Chan Webcomic
So I was wondering, Why does Chris-chan belong at the Permanent Red Link Club at TV Tropes?
Edited by 70Jack90openI made a page for my Pokemon Mystery Dungeon comic. Webcomic
I made a page for Pokemon Mystery Dungeon comic, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Strong Hearts, and I put it in some index pages, but it's not showing up in the index bar at the bottom of the page. How do I fix that?
openPlanet Zebeth Again Webcomic
I just wanted to relay some information in case if this page and/or any of its subpages get put on the cutlist that the comic's author had to suddenly disappear from the internet for awhile. She has started scrubbing everything off the internet and might attempt to put TV Tropes articles on Planet Zebeth onto the cutlist if she hasn't already did so.
The only post I could find on why is she may be in personal danger (post was from Patreon). The articles may need some rewriting or moving to Darth Wiki though since the author took her comic down and there are no mirrors elsewhere at this time.

Does The World is Flat have an exception from Weblinks Are Not Examples? Nearly all of the examples are just weblinks, but it is used so often for our trope depictions that I wouldn't be surprised if it had a special exception from the rule.
