openAdding pictures Print Comic
I'm making a page for the Spider-Man story Evil That Men Do. How do I add pictures please?
openNo Title Print Comic
I was browsing TearJerker.Comic Books and noticed an overabundance of TJ pages, as well as other Moments subpages, for Supergirl and Superman stories, some of which were only single issues. Upon going to said pages I found they weren't in any particular detail or necessarily sad, with TearJerker.Superman Vs The Amazing Spider Man having only one example and NightmareFuel.Superman Vs The Amazing Spider Man three but only two are credible. I think a majority of them could go on general Supergirl/Superman pages, but I wanted to be sure before moving anything. (Going by this
query I think they've all been made by a ban-evader?)
EDIT: Also TearJerker.Jimmy Olsen and TearJerker.Lois Lane and other moment pages, like NightmareFuel.Lois Lane.

openRemoving a link to a piracy site Print Comic
Valérian had, in its lead section, a link to a piracy site on "can be read here". I've already messaged the troper who added it to not do it again, if anything else should be done or if it should be removed a certain way or by just removing it.
openIs Characters/VenomHosts too wordy? Print Comic
Venom Hosts is filled with walls of text.
Each character folder has what amounts to a complete recap of the character's history which I don't think is the norm? Like, summarising a lot more is what's usually done, right? But the character pages for Venom are just filled with text, but the hosts especially have this going. Seemingly every single thing they've done is in the lead sections and it reads more like the script for a history video than anything else.
Should this be changed? Beyond just better paragraphing and getting rid of the insane amounts of detail, I think there's too much text in each lead section and it could be trimmed down a lot.

I would like to create a works page for the mini series, Spider-Man/Black Cat: The Evil That Men Do. How can I do this please?
openRat-Man Print Comic
So I just stumbled upon Rat-Man. It and all of its subpages were created with a hyphen. I can't move them myself at the moment, so I figured I mention here so someone who has the time and wants to can do it.
openGamera comic book Print Comic
I'm thinking of starting a page for the 1996 Dark Horse Comics Gamera miniseries, but I'm not sure if I should title it Gamera (since as far as I know, it's the only comic book for the franchise), or Gamera: Guardian of the Universe, which is the miniseries' actual title.
Which do you think I should title it?
Edited by DancouMaryuuopenEdit warring Print Comic
Arawn999 added Half-Human Hybrid to Absolute Carnage and I deleted it because I felt it was Speculative Troping. It may or may not be — I think they're taking something literally and ignoring the sentence immediately after what they're likely using as evidence, and it's better to wait until the thing is made clearer — but they re-added it without discussion.

openCreating an individual character page Print Comic
I was thinking of creating a Comic Book page for the Thing because Reed, Sue, and Johnny each have their own individual pages. However, I do not know how to create one. Would anyone be willing to guide me?
openx-men complaining Print Comic
I removed two examples from Characters.X Men Recurring Characters regarding Revanche because one of the them read like speculation and the other was complaining. The editor re-added them so I would like a mod to weigh in.
- Replacement Goldfish: On a meta level. She was brought back solely so fans could have a version of the Psylocke they have known and loved for the past 30 years, even if she's a completely different character mentally.
- The Worf Effect: As part of Marvel's apparent ongoing effort to convince fans that Psylocke > Magneto, the first thing Kwannon does upon her return is to behead Magneto's Ax-Crazy clone Joseph. And just in case this wasn't convincing enough, she soon after got to worf Daken too. Is she your favorite yet, guys?
openCan I remove factually wrong Dethroning Moments? Print Comic
On the Garfield page, the latest entry complains about a couple of strips that have "no joke to be found" or "seem to have no punchline." Except... They do have punchlines, and the person who posted those entries just didn't get the joke. Can I remove those examples, since they're factually incorrect?
(EDIT: As I wrote this, I realized that listing multiple unrelated strips goes against the rules anyway, so I could just delete the ones I listed. But for future reference—is it acceptable to delete Dethroning Moments that are evidently untrue? Like, I get that listing made-up lines from movies would be frowned upon, but is it okay to remove an entry because the entry claims a strip has no punchline when the strip in fact has one?
Edited by MichaelKatsuroopenAuthor's Saving Throw/Marvel: A Fresh Start Print Comic
Would anyone be alright if I gave Author's Saving Throw its own page for the Marvel: A Fresh Start initiative?
I was thinking that this was basically the point of Fresh Start, and the examples are piling up with me being able to think of many more, plus factor in the X-Men getting a bunch of their own with Dawn of X (a sister relaunch related to Fresh Start). There's a page for DC Rebirth, so maybe this could get one too?
I'd organize it on the following categories:
Status Quo Focused on the status quo updates being more in-line with what the readers wanted.
Representation Focused on how they handled representation in a way that pleases general audiences.
Stories Focused on the stories they've added from new ideas, individual changes, and general titles.
Mutants Focused on the X-Men side of things following a long Dork Age.
Misc. Focused on anything that isn't covered by the four above.
I asked on relevant discussion page, but thought I could reach a wider audience here. I'm not sure if people would care too much, but I think it's good to see what they think.
openIs Chaos Princess Pinkie Pie in Issue 57 Pinkie Pie's One Winged Angel form? Print Comic
In Issue 57 of the MLP IDW comics, after getting a little too used to the chaos dimension, Pinkie Pie threaten to use her new chaos powers back in her home world (she never says what she'll do from there) then turns herself into an alicorn and calls herself the "Princess of Chaos" . Would this count as One Winged Angel?
Edited by HaloFlyer1122openBetsy Braddock/Psylocke Print Comic
The new Dawn of X relaunch sees Betsy Braddock become Captain Britain and her identity as Psylocke is taken by Kwannon. I'm unsure of what should be done with the page exactly, other than that I know it'll need some overhaul soon because it'll be strange for it to remain the same way soon.
For example, Ms. Marvel used to specifically refer to Carol Danvers, but since becoming Captain Marvel it was changed to Carol Danvers, whereas the original Ms. Marvel is now a general page describing the legacy.
I asked this on the discussion page of Psylocke, but got no replies. It seems no one has seen it. So I'm asking here, what should be done?
My idea was similar to the Ms. Marvel case: make a page for Betsy Braddock covering her specifically, and make Psylocke a general page for the two. It could provide bios for both, tropes for Psylocke as an identity in general, and specifically the bio and tropes for Kwannon (who doesn't seem to have any entry due to her obscurity beforehand outside the "Freaky Friday" Flip).
What do you think?
openWhich names do I use? Print Comic
I'm about to start adding to the trope page of Seuls, which has changed the names of the characters and places in the English translation. Should I use the new, English names or the French original ones?
Edited by MichaelKatsuro

I need help with editing and proof reading the character page for Spider-Man 2099. I started the page and I'm the only one editing it, so while I try to fix as much as possible, there are always some errors that escape my notice. Some help in actually troping would also be appreciated.
