Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
Ask the Tropers is for:
- General questions about the wiki, how it works, and how to do things.
- Reports of problems with wiki articles, or requests for help with wiki articles.
- Reports of misbehavior or abuse by other tropers.
Ask the Tropers is not for:
- Help identifying a trope. See TropeFinder.
- Help identifying a work. See MediaFinder.
- Asking if a trope example is valid. See the Trope Talk forum.
- Proposing new tropes. See TropeLaunchPad.

The first installment of my liveblog (Here
) disappeared since last night. In fact, the Table of Contents still lists the remaining installments as 2-9. Any idea how that might have happened? Or how it can be reversed?
I started another liveblog to run concurrently with this one earlier today, if that's at all relevant, but I can't imagine how since several others have multiple Liveblogs and don't seem to have this issue. That said, if necessary I'm willing to abandon the new one if it's the root of the problem.
Edit: Okay, by now I've rewritten it, but I'm still curious as to why it happened and how I can avoid it in the future.

Looking for TWO pages about websites:
1) You Tube channel about four/five "critics" who review stuff. All I know is that one of them (a woman) was absent for several videos for being too violent.
2) Website about a reviewer who reviews movies. All I know about him is that he really hates The Lion King!!!
Please somebody help me!!!

I have been edit-banned just now. But I don't understand why. Perhaps I've made too many edits... this is the thing I suspect. But I've not insulted everyone, I've not deleted any page, I've only changed the page Stock Dinosaurs to enhance it and make it more readable and more ordinate. The last edit I made was the last one in my mind about this page, I've finished that work at last: but I still have to complete the Prehistoric Life section I have created a week ago, transferring the exceeding material from Stock Dinosaurs to it. Who'll finish the job in my place? [sad]
Please, allow me to finish the Prehistoric Life page, and to make the changes I did in the Main Stock Dinosaurs page to I Soliti Dinosauri (the Italian translation) as well (I'm an Italian troper, sorry for my bad English...).
I promise that I'll never edit Stock Dinosaurs anymore. The same about every other page that is not Prehistoric Life and I Soliti Dinosauri. If I'll edit something other than these, I'll deserve the permanent edit-ban.

I wanted to add FanDumb to the poll because it mainly contained personal attacks and complaining about people you don't like. To

A hell of a lot of blueshifts in Summary.Comics are just copied wholesale from Wikipedia. What do I do with those?

I came across a strange page today: Carnival Of Souls appears (at least to me) to be blank, however I thought it was odd that a blank page was on three indexes. Looking at the page source, I see a description and trope list that I can't see otherwise.
Is anyone else getting the same thing?

On the Fanon page, there are several links to pages for other mediums. At the bottom of these pages, there's the traditional "This page has not been indexed. Please choose a satisfying and delicious index page to put it on." messege, and I was wondering:
- If there is an index to put these on
- If there isn't, should I make one?
- Can I make one? If so, how?
Thank you for you time tropers! ^___^

What's the suitable place to report an edit war? We're having issues with the listing of Obvious Beta on the Super Robot Wars Judgment page, and it's clear that only moderator intervention is going to convince Master Don at this point, since he hasn't bothered to respond to me on the discussion page at all before putting it back on.

We've got three quotes on And Some Other Stuff. Any suggestions on which to keep and which to send to quotes/?

I am an unbiased, reasonable, thoughtful Troper who has been trying to keep an air of neutrality on the Michael Cole page and move edits to the Your Mileage May Vary page as needed. With that said, could we have a lock on the page or something? There is a Coleminer camped there who is feverishly deleting anything that could be interpreted as negative, to the point of lying about moving edits he deletes.

Would I be allowed to add this to 24?
- Art Imitates Life: The positive portrayal of David Palmer is credited for the election of Barack Obama.

I've tried linking to my troper page (nothing there right now, but I'm woking on fixing that), but that seems to be beyond what my Wiki Magic is capable of. Will I have to change to a more Wiki Word friendly username, because my current one starts with a zero, not an actual O, and that might be what's messing up my attempts.
