openInfluences Music
How are the "Influences" listed on Music pages determined? Does it have to be an artist the creator has specifically stated to have influenced them to be listed?

open Suicide warning kosher? Music
The page for Kurt Cobain has a suicide warning on the top of it. Is this kosher? Doesn't seem like it should be.
openChristianRock examples Music
Just asking for confirmation, but works listed in Genre pages don't really need context to justify why the work is a part of the genre right?
I'm wondering because the examples listed in Christian Rock is really messy right now, with almost every entry being written in rambling paragraphs that has a lot of indentation issues. I just removed an entry that was listed three times in the page (because with the Wall of Text, I suppose it's harder to see which bands have already been written on the page).
Not to mention, a lot of the artists/bands listed in the page aren't even Rock...
Edited by AdeptopenChaotic evil automatically a YMMV trope? Music
Was editing the page for Razia's Shadow and tried adding the Chaotic Evil trope to the list of examples, but it automatically turned into a YMMV trope instead of a normal bullet point trope. Is Chaotic Evil automatically a YMMV / subjective interpretation trope? I would have thought if the character being described never has his motivations for an evil deed explained in canon apart from "because he wants to", that would count as Chaotic Evil, no YMMV about it. (For context: the character in question is Barayas the spider, who in the song "The Spider and the Lamps" from the musical Razia's Shadow encourages another character to literally Set the World on Fire without apparently gaining anything from it himself. Lyrics of the song here: https://genius.com/Forgive-durden-the-spider-and-the-lamps-lyrics)
Is there any way to sumbit the Chaotic Evil trope to the examples list without turning into a YMMV trope? Or should I just submit it to the YMMV page?
openSam Smith edits removed without reason Music
So to my knowledge, Sam Smith is now gender-neutral (not a he or she) and asjshfsdf has removed my edits from the page with no edit reason, I am presuming because he is no longer a "man" or "male".
- A Man Is Always Eager: "Dancing with a Stranger" is about someone after a breakup and being conflicted with sexual urges while lamenting about his ex. Of course, they have sex or hook up simply because "I don't wanna be alone tonight".
- I'm a Man; I Can't Help It: "Dancing with a Stranger" tries to twist the blame on the ex for making him have sex with someone else where it was the ex's fault that he can't control his own sexual urges and his partner couldn't satisfy him which led him to find someone else.
But these are examples about his songs not about him as a person, but since Smith's music has been mostly gender-neutral, I'm conflicted on whether the examples should stay. As I presumed when he was still a male when he made the song, it was written from a male perspective, but maybe his music was always from an ambiguous perspective the whole time? Thoughts?
openTropers in Coon Rapids, MN - Is Bobby on Thin Ice a real band? Music
Exactly What It Says on the Tin : I've found very few online references to a band that supposedly released three albums and was working on a fourth when they broke up. Can anyone from Coon Rapids, MN vouch that they are? Bobby On Thin Ice
Edited by ExxolonopenAlbum Filler Music
Shouldn't Album Filler be YMMV? It doesn't have any examples apart from parodies and mentions, but it's linked on a lot of main music pages, and that seems pretty wrong unless there's a Word of God confirmation.
Edited by TropesForeveropenCan I do cleanup on LyricalDissonance? Music
Yesterday, I checked out the Lyrical Dissonance page, and noticed that many of the songs listed were in fact songs with both sad lyrics and a sad melody. (The prime example would be "Youngstown" by Bruce Springsteen. Go and listen to it right now; it's probably Bruce's most underrated song.)
Is it cool with everyone if I go ahead and delete those faulty examples?
(And seriously, go listen to "Youngstown." You'll be happy you did.)
EDIT: I've deleted every example that I know is wrong. Be great if somebody who knows the other music helped out with the rest. Thanks, mates!

openCreating a page for multiple artists Music
Hi. I'd like to trope circles that make fanmade Touhou music, but there are a bunch of circles I don't have a lot to say about. Is it okay if I create a page titled Music.Touhou Fanmade Arrangements and make it similar to the BEMANI page?

Edited by TVRepairmanopenDarth Wiki or not? Music
So I've noticed recently mods going around and fixing Most Annoying Sound in YMMV pages to be now Darth Wiki/Most Annoying Sound... which is then followed by random users deleting the entry, citing it's Darth Wiki and thus does not belong to YMMV.
Am I missing some important decision or discussion? Should Most Annoying Sound be just removed from YMMV? Are people cutting it out from YMMV in the wrong? I'm confused and I need answers

opensubject of creating nightmare fuel page Music
I am trying to create a nightmare fuel page for the band Cephalic Carnage but have no idea how. Help please?

Hi I'm adding another famous example to Mexicans love Speedy Gonzales
If anyone could help me format it and fix it that would help.
Heres the thing I wanted to example: ' One would think the song " Fujiyama Mama" by rockabilly legend Wanda Jackson would be hated by the Japanese with its opening line being "I've been to Nagasaki, Hiroshima too! The things I did to them baby, I can do to you!" as well as other references to the Atom Bomb, However Oddly enough it was a number one hit in Japan! It was such a hit in fact that Wanda did a tour in Japan becuse of it. This is might have to do with Japanese's love for rockabilly.
