Greetings, tropers. As I was putting a (justified, really) rant in the Pal Bonus page, I was thinking about creating four new tropes, namely:
- "No Export For You-rope" (or "No Export For U-rope"), a punny-named subtrope of No Export for You about Europe (given Europe has many offenders).
- "Late Export For You", another subtrope which is self-explanatory, with Kirby, Dissidia Final Fantasy (only the first), Super Smash Bros Brawl and Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep being some of the best known examples. This demotivator, about Europe and Nintendo, arguably put it best.
- "Rusty Iron Is Scarier", a videogame (and not limited to videogames, but showing up usually-and-especially in them) trope about creepy rusty walls made of iron, with the best known examples being Doom and the first Crash Bandicoot game (I posted the idea about the new trope in the Crash article itself).
- "Marge Simpson Effect", a trope showing up in all media. Since Marge Simpson from The Simpsons tends to almost make me tear up whenever she cries, this trope is about characters with contagious tears.
Think about them, and if given permission, I might even write some of the articles myself.

For YMMVs on non trope or work pages, like Recap pages, which do you feel would be best? It has been determined in the forum that it is possible to create a YMMV page for them and that the YMMV icon does indeed appear on the Recap page as shown here but this would end up making lots of small YMMV pages for possibly every Recap page out there. The other option was to create a YMMV folder in the Recap page itself and slip them in there. Since this decision would effect all Recap pages, I thought I'd ask the hivemind directly. Page or folder?

Hello~ There's been a bit of an edit war between myself and another troper on the Tangled IJBM page, and I was wondering if it would be possible for a mod to take a look at it.
One of the things that the other troper has been doing include deleting huge swaths of text aren't directly to the point, editing and reediting the page so that the edit history is all them editing between "inserttexthere" and "insert text here" and has ignored every attempt to ask them to bring it to the discussion page before deleting things. I've ended up just saving a word document of the page, and putting it back the way it was several times, but I'm willing to stop if that is what needs to be down.
Thank you for your time, Loracarol

I just noticed something rather odd about the redirect of Antigone for the page Antigone. It doesn't actually show up as a redirect on the page itself and I when I try to edit it I get directed to a page headed with "Antigone: Antigone", yet wicks do redirect from it. I'm curious whether it can be fixed on the basis that the pages that link to that redirect won't appear in the "related to" feature as it is.

Little question, is there a specific rule against adding a pothole instead of a work title? And if so, what page is it on?
For example.
- John did such and such.
- 'Hello, Alice? It's Bob. I'm doing something'
I hope that made sense. Incidentally, no, I haven't added any like that myself.

(A) Is there a policy about posting fanfic recomendations "in the name of" another handle?
I've seen two users adding fanfic recs in the name of Slick Nick Shady. By toolfan here
(on 18JAN) and by theschwab34 here
(on 17JAN).
(B) Is there a policy on IJBM entries that aren't about the work itself? One of the above mentioned tropers has added two IJBM about the WMGs for the same work here
.

First of all: I'm so sorry if I've just made a problem worse.
While going through my watch list, I noticed that shows were no longer showing up as being indexed on British Series. Brit Com, Comedy Series, etc, yes, but no general British Series. I looked for discussion but couldn't find any indication that it was being made defunct.
So I went to British Series to check the page type, figuring maybe it got switched somehow. It was set to index, though. I figured it was either something on my end or perhaps a momentary glitch in the matrix. But I made the mistake of hitting 'save' instead of 'cancel'. So now the British Series page type is showing up as index+index, whatever that means. (And shows still aren't showing up as indexed there, but maybe that's something on my end?)
I don't know how to fix that. There's index markup on the page itself, maybe removing that would fix it? But I don't want to do anything else to it in case I make even more of a mess of things. I'm so sorry guys, I didn't mean to break it. If someone knows what to do, though, I'll put it right!

The American Civil War has itself listed as in the indexes for Useful Notes, Military and Warfare Tropes, Hollywood History, and Furry Comic. And I for the life of me cannot figure out how to remove that last one. Anyone?

On Five Man Band Video Games O-S
a user by the name of Troper Almighty keeps up an edit war reguarding the Sonic The Hedgehog entry. He keeps shoehorning the character Shadow, who leads a completley seperate team, into the line up as The Lancer. Myself and others have given reasons as to why he doesn't fit into Sonic's group several times, but he Troper Almighty just refuses to accept this and keeps on edit warring. On his previous edit, he just deleted the Sonic entry. Is there anything a mod can do?

I noticed there was a Quotes page for So Okay It's Average, and one for So Okay [Its Average, so I tried to turn the page with the unpunctuated title into a redirect. However, now the page has a link to itself in the lower right hand corner, and one cannot access the quote page that's supposed to follow. Could someone please fix this?

Someone who calls him/herself "Callis" has been vandalizing the page for Spoonys Campaign. How exactly do we go about getting this person banned?

Iggy Luv 333 has horrible spelling
. Every entry I peeked at has at least one rather large mistake. I'd clean it all up myself, but I'm heading to bed. Clean up in aisle 4.

Charlottes Web (the troper, not the book) has been creating a series of stubs consisting of nothing but a link to Spiders Web A Pigs Tale, a page with nothing to do but complain in a self admitted trolling attempt.
Laugh, lol, Internet, Plan Bee, BF 101, The Great Gawp, Jarlaxle Artemis and Spiders Web A Pigs Tale are all signs of the moronicity. Going through their edit history is like going through a mine of material to be cut and reverted (which is what I'm doing, btw).

Is there a rule for uploading images instead of linking to them (in terms of quantity)? I found cool fanart I wanted to include in an Image Links page, but it's on Gelbooru (the image itself is completely SFW, but the ads... yeah).

The Spoony Experiment's discussion page is again going into back-and-forths about whether or not Noah is a fan hater, and is more about personal opinion than the work itself. Can anything be done about it?
