openCharacters/IkkiTousen {{Expy}} entry Anime
There seems to be an issue with the Expy entry about Hakufu Sonsaku on Ikki Tousen, which states that Hakufu is an expy of Excel from Excel♡Saga. It's also considered what I believed to be a Zero Context Example.
Since the expy trope has to be made explicit by the creator (in this case, it's Yuji Shiozaki) and is not meant for superficial similarities by fans or the audience, I tried to clean it up as with other expy entries in various anime articles and even brought it up on the cleanup thread
, but it was put back in repeatedly by king3000 on the character page. Not to mention that the troper also added in Zero Context Example entries to various anime articles in the past (history
) and as king2000 (history
).
That said, should we just get rid of the expy entry in the character sheet altogether?

Early into the page's lifespan I'd added a note on Aoi's Expy trope as she reminded me of Mokuba, who in the manga was a ruthless brat early on in an attempt to get Seto to acknowledge him, while Aoi is also ruthless in her attempts to get her older brother to acknowledge him, and said older brother is also more protective like anime-Seto was to Mokuba. Tropers.siamesecatman444 deleted it with no edit reason and added a different character, from GX, in its place.
Later on as more similarities began to occur I added it back, for those reasons, but siamesecatman444 again deleted it, also without an edit reason. It's possible they think expy is gender-specific. (Is it?)

On Characters.Bleach Vandenreich El Hombre De Los Moleculos insists on putting the following entry:
- Expy: He bears more than a passing resemblance to Jim Gordon. The similarities mostly end there, however.
The first time Wyldchyld removed it due to "Expy needs to be deliberate, not fan associations."
El Hombre put with back with the following edit reason: "It's...pretty damn deliberate. You'd have to be blind not to see the intent. So, don't be an obnoxious trope nazi."
Wyldchyld pulled the entry to the discussion page.
Now El Hombre put it back, outright ignoring the discussion. Edit reason: "Taken out of the discussion page, and where it belongs. Once more, stop being an obnoxious trope nazi. This site doesn't revolve around your own personal sensibilities."

Despite removing the Expy entry regarding the similarities between Hakufu Sonsaku and Excel as well as a brief discussion
on the talk page, king3000 has just now restored the expy entry in Characters.Ikki Tousen, with an edit reason of "i would love someone to explain to me how excel and hakufu are nothing alike" (history
).
Not only that, but it's also a textbook Zero Context Example entry. I don't want to get into an edit war, so what would be the best way to resolve this situation?
