[UPDATE: Following my suspension getting lifted, alongside finding out how the Wayback Machine website works (because it does!), this has become a bit less of an "emergency" to me. However, help - even attempted - is still greatly appreciated.]
I have a question about the Nightmare Fuel subpages.
Now, I know already they've been cut, and given the previous reached agreement about "Nightmare Fuel not leaving" (see the related discussion for that, as this is what tropers were promised in one of the last posts on that thread), I won't comment on that (I'm mad about it, so, just so you know, it would only have been a Wall of Text with a lot of Angrish, that is, a rude and counterproductive thing).
What I'm officially asking for, after a thinking about it for a while, is an archive for the pages who ended up in the Permanent Red Link Club. So those among us who miss the pages can still browse them. I've asked this myself to none other than Fast Eddie previously, but it seems lost pages are lost forever. I'm counting on you guys for what I'm asking you.
Also, if we can't have an archive, I'd like someone to send the lost articles to my e-mail address, which I'm more than willing to share if some tropers can send pages to me.
Thanks in advance to all of you who can help me building my "offline shrine" for this wiki.

I've recently come to the realization that several tropes that would belong on Doppelgänger's list of subtropes are mysteriously not; I've already had to add Alternate Self, Mirror Self, Robot Me, and others. Also, some of the "character type tropes" list actually belonged on the "related tropes" list, so I've taken the liberty of moving them there. However, I just know that I must be missing something somewhere.
So would it be alright for me to make a Special Efforts thread to collaborate with other tropers on addressing the issue of finding already existing tropes that aren't listed on Doppelgänger even though they do belong on it, as well as putting some of the misplaced tropes in their proper lists on the page?

Been noticing some "offensive" comments from Aravis Laserleean on discussion pages. For instance, on Feminism, there's this- "Feminism is like commuism it is nothing but smoke and mirrors. They all hate men no matter what they do."
And on the Discussion for Straw Feminist:
"It could be argued that Feminist Frequency played by Anita Sarkeesian is herself a Straw Feminist because she hates all men and believes they are all bad writers and believes they are all straw men no matter who they are and believes the feminist movement is perfect."
and
"A majority of feminist movements are puppets to either the Gender feminist or the Separatist feminist just like a majority of the communist states where puppets to either Russia and China. In theaury the practice of feminism is perfect but like communism it is nothing but smoke and mirrors. If you truy believe in equality you wouldn't be calling yourselves feminist but insted equalist."

If I give myself a troper page, how can I prevent vandalism? Is asking the mods to lock it after I write it the only option?

Shoot, I messed up. I launched the trope Oddly Overtrained Security, chastising myself for not getting it done last week, then I saw that there were new comments in the YKTTW, one of which made a very valid comment about its orientation and name. I know how to cutlist it, but that comes with an automatic lock on the namespace upon cutting which isn't necessary, and I don't know how to restore the YKTTW. Can I get some assistance?

I know the rule "fix it yourself" but since I've never seen Firefly, I have no idea what's true within the four-bulleted argument/natter on the Photographic Memory page:
- River Tam from Firefly exhibits this when she memorizes the exact locations and cover arrangements of three soldiers in a room and shoots all three in rapid succession, a bullet to each, with her eyes closed.
River: No power in the 'Verse can stop me.
- That only required her to memorize three points, and retain that memory for a few seconds.
- Remember them exactly and then unerringly hit them in an instantly fatal spot. She captured their exact location and stance in an instant. Let's see you try that - with a Nerf gun, though. Shooting people is generally frowned upon.
- Not only that, but she also spun her body around. She was facing them when she saw them, got shot at and ducked in behind cover, picked up Kaylee's gun, stood up and then spun her clockwise, extending her left arm, while her eyes were still closed. She would have had to not only remember exactly where the guys were, but also calculate the exact angle she turned her body, how high she should point her arm (and the gun) in relative position to how far clockwise she spun her body.
Kaylee: Not even the captain could make a shot like that!- This is more a case of perfect coordination than perfect memory. You could set up basketball goals all around someone with perfect memory, but that doesn't mean they'd make every shot with their eyes closed.
- Possibly photographic memory (for locking the position of the targets in her mind), perfect coordination (to be able to move and attack with the necessary precision to the image in her mind) AND perfect calculation (for the position, trajectory of the bullets, possibly deviations, etc; she can kill you with maths)
- That only required her to memorize three points, and retain that memory for a few seconds.
Could someone who knows Firefly better please help out? Again, I would love to do it myself but I have little knowledge of the show. Another question, is this the right thread to ask for this type of thing or should I have put this in the discussion section of Photographic Memory?

Have a question regarding aversions and Double Standard: Rape, Female on Male.
On the Averted Trope page, it says that aversions are only worth noting when the trope is an Omnipresent Trope, and the aversions list would be shorter than where it's used straight. There's a lot of entries on the rape page mentioned above that list aversions, in spite of the page itself saying that it's not for "any female raping a male", but where such an event is viewed as acceptable in-story.
Should the aversions be purged, or are they more useful remaining on the page?

Ending tropes and/or other storyline tropes can't really apply to people, right?
In Cynical Brit, some guys recently added Earn Your Happy Ending, based entirely about the creator's personal life, and I had removed it the first time thinking so.
...But Earn Your Happy Ending page itself has a real life section, including some people. So should the trope be removed from the Cynical Brit page or kept (since there's been discussion about creators not needing tropes about their personal lives in the past)?

I had requested a custom title for Kid Icarus: Uprising, and I think it was accepted, because on the page for the game itself, it has a colon in there - Kid Icarus: Uprising. However, it doesn't seem to show the custom title on any other page. How does this get fixed?

I demand permission to start a purposefully-first-person, character-based, Self-Demonstrating Article on The Avengers' Arch-Enemy Ultron.
Also, the medium is "not sure" because the media list doesn't include Comic Books, oddly enough.
[EDIT: as noted below, I apologise for the word "demand". What I meant was "request", but I came up with the first one instead. My knowledge of English is good, but nowhere near as perfect as my friends make it out to be.]

I've made several requests for custom-titling LightNovel.Nyarko San to "Nyarko-san", but it's either not working or it's being rejected outright, because Characters.Nyarko San still shows the old "Nyarko San" display, and the custom-title tool itself keeps saying that the standard display is "Light Novel/Nyarko San". Can anyone provide some enlightenment on this issue?

Some time ago, Innocent Woodland Elf re-added, without any edit reason, a trope list on Tony Blair that Fighteer had cut earlier for being applied to Real Life.
He also unilaterally removed the No Real Life Examples Please tag on Narcissist (edit reason: "Removed nonsense edit") and restored the RL section, even though the edit reason of the troper that placed it there explicitly said that it had been decided with a crowner vote.
Sent him a PM that advised him to revert these edits himself. Reply:
Advise suspension strongly. His edit history

Wondering about an edit by EJO 1 on The Dog Bites Back regarding President Obama. I'd say the sources cited and the entry itself are way too controversial to not fall afoul of the Rule Of Cautious Editing Judgment, but wonder what the mods think. Thanks.
Edit- also probably not a problem, but see that some of their edits are of a partisan bent- like on Documentary of Lies, also, some edits that refer to Kirk Cameron as making pro-American films (as opposed to all the anti-American movies that Hollywood makes?)

Chris Hart was massively changed, apparently by the man himself, to be nothing but an advertisement. Do I report something like that here or is there a more admin-y page?

On Eliezer Yudkowsky and his YMMV page, are there tropes which apply to himself here? That's not allowed, right?

Complaining and I guess confirmed anti-semitism on the Lotte No Omocha Discussion Page
