openLocked recap pages? Live Action TV
I've taken it upon myself to develop the Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers Recap pages. Before I started my work, they didn't go past the first dozen or so episodes of the first season. I've made my way up to the fourth Green With Evil Saga episode and on submitting it, I found that it just took me back to the blank recap page for the episode. Why is this? I grant that my recaps are detailed but they do not substitute for the full episodes or scripts, and nor have I ever seen a rule forbidding detailed recaps (indeed I have seen many others for other works). I haven't gotten a PM relating to the matter either, not yet at least. Instead I think this must just be some kind of locking glitch but not sure why it would have happened? Please can someone fix this so I can continue to work on the recaps. I also noticed that the fifth episode of the saga had the same predicament and, one might assume, so on and so forth for other episodes after that point. I checked and I was able to re-edit previously submitted recaps.
Edited by FlashStepsopenYMMV/TheJoker Print Comic
I was looking at the The Joker page and I noticed that the entire thing is writing in the Joker's voice like a Self-Demonstrating page. Is it because the main page for the Joker and his Self-Demonstrating page share the same YMMV page?
open The Big Lebowski Question
I was watching it today and began wondering, would there be a Big Bad Ensemble between the Big Lebowski himself and Jackie Treehorn?
open Cbbc show
Myself and some friends are trying to remember a TV show, we believe it was CBBC. We remember a shack by the beach, people who sold smoothies - and some zombie like monsters that you could see if you looked through water (like a fish tank, or goggles filled with water) A bad guy they ended up trapping under the sea?
openUnexpected Character Help
I decided to make a subpage for the "Video Games" folder in the Unexpected Characters page. I've been meaning to do it for a while, but now I'm having a problem with indexing. I gave a subpage for the "Live-Action TV" folder thinking that it would just index itself automatically, but nothing happened. Anybody got advice?
openI'm not sure about this one
An edit made to this page
by Smitty 300 has no detail but a You Tube link of questionable reputation. (And I'm starting to wonder whether or not edits to the page itself should be by request only.)
open"Correcting non-binary erasure", Agenda-based or not?
Do the edits made by autwitchstic in Heroic Self-Deprecation

, and Half-Breed Discrimination
count as agenda-based editing?
openAbout
I am currently working on a personal writing project/exercise, and I was wondering if I could use my own Tropers page (which is not yet created, but I assume it would be Tropers/Waddle) as my own personal sandbox to keep record of this project in an easy to use/edit interface.
So my question is actually this one: can I do whatever I want in my own Troper page? Or should I keep what is basically a Super Smash Bros. fanfiction out of it, and only use it for actual information about myself?
Edited by WaddleopenLoveItOrHateIt question.
I had recently noticed that the Love It or Hate It trope is listed on the In Universe Examples Only page, but when you go the the Love It or Hate It page itself it's clearly listed as a YMMV trope. So I'm just a little confused. Is it supposed to be both or is it one and not the other?
open Revert on SpectacleFighter? Videogame
Could we get a mod revert on Spectacle Fighter? A troper took it upon himself to cut most of the page without discussion. He is on the Discussion page now, so I think the prudent course of action would be to revert the page, discuss what does or does not need to be cut, and then re-cut stuff.
I do agree that the fat should be trimmed, but he cut way too much before any discussion occurred.
openRemaking Of The The Eye Creatures: Namespace Film
Since Attack of the The Eye Creatures was purified, I'd like to re-create its original version where it belongs, which means in one of the "fun" namespaces. However, I'm not sure whether it should be in Just for Fun (which was my first hunch) or Self-Demonstrating...
Edited by Medinocopen De-power and Brought Down To Normal
Isn't De-power used for characters that lost their powers permanently while Brought Down to Normal used for characters that lost their power temporary? I have seen some peoples confused a De-power example as a Brought Down to Normal example, even on the De-power page itself.
Edited by flamemario12openEdit warring on the E3 page
Here
, Dragon Ranger made Step Three into the triggering of an Edit War by "Switching 2016 controversies entries back" to a rather-unintuitive format that places the whole thing at the middle of the E3 2016 section, trying to correlate an act of solidarity from the ones present in the conference towards the affected ones by the Orlando shooting with a controversial analysis on video game violence (using Feminist Frequency as a source in the process). Before said analysis was added at all, the folder merely mentioned the expressions of sympathy like the rainbow ribbons, and I think it was perfectly fine that way since it was very relevant to how E3 was performed this year. Indeed, after Dragon Ranger originally repurposed that part to add an analysis on gaming violence (which ONLY relates to E3 in the content and themes of the games exhibited and not the event itself), it was reverted by another troper for the reasons I'm explaining. Now DR simply reverted it as they believe the two pieces of info must be together.
Since this is the kind of thing that unfairly ruins and degenerates the subject of the article (as happened in many other pages), my opinion is that the whole entry about analysis on gaming violence should be axed and leave the entry about the solidarity of the conference (like I said, this one thing is relevant and meaningful). But I'm bringing this here first because there's sadly an Edit War declared here and I need the troper community's stance on this before douing anything.
EDIT: In fact, if you read carefully the current revision, you'll note that the whole tribute and solidarity part was demoted to being a "side note". When in fact that should be the only thing preserved there at all!
Edited by MyFinalEditsopen Not the fall that kills you Literature
Is Richard Mayhew's fear of heights not because of the fall, but because he doesn't trust himself in Neverwhere an example of Not the Fall That Kills You?
openSome...interesting formatting on Music/TheAgonist Music
Music.TheAgonist consists entirely of zero-context examples grouped by song. Even if the examples had context (which they don't) and were indented correctly (which they aren't), would this method of organizing even be kosher? It just seems to be more unwieldy than just arranging the tropes in the normal way.
I'm not familiar enough with the band to add context to any of the examples, and the few examples with context seem to be misuse, so...uh...what should be done here? I could try to overhaul it myself (the reason I ended up on the page in the first place was because I started listening to one of their albums and liked it), but it would take a while.
open new royalty girl in winter kingdom? Literature
Hello All, In an ideal world it would be a book about a girl who somehow becomes a queen/(some form of power position) and must rule in a winter land, with a night full of monsters and magic. She isn't sure who she can trust, etc. So I have a very specific tone for the book I'm requesting. I'm looking for a mix between 'The Little White Horse' and 'A Game of Thrones'. Now let me explain, I would like the beauty and suspense of TLWH and from GOT I would like only the north. By that I mean only the feeling of Winterfell and beyond the wall. I'm looking for some creepy/suspense/horror/beautiful/fantasy/magic book, preferably with a dash of romance. You will be my friend for life if you can find me this obscure wish book. (I feel like I should just write this myself heh). Thank you fantastical people!
open Mediation Needed
Brief backstory:
In Xenoblade Chronicles X, there's an optional conversation with a party member whereas she complains about guys who hit on her as well as other women. If you are a male character (and ONLY if you are male) asks you for your opinion, and if you agree, she basically says "I KNEW you were different. Heck, I'd ask YOU out for a drink!"
After that, the concept of a date or romance never comes up again.
Myself and Dragon95 think this is sufficient for Ship Tease. Larkmarn leans toward agreeing with us, but hasn't played the game. Miin U does not agree, and is becoming increasingly hostile about their opinion.
This is the third time I've gotten into a debate with this person, and we are equally stubborn. However, Miin U's arguments don't make any sense to us, with all three of us at one point calling them out for making invalid arguments.
We need new people to chime in and say if they think we're right or wrong.

I'm having trouble figuring out what Read the Freaking Manual is actually about. The description itself is very unclear (best I can figure it's "person arrogantly didn't read the manual because they think they can figure it out" but that's a relatively uncommon use of it on the page. The examples seem to be a hodgepodge of "this work referenced a manual," "actually reading a manual makes someone an Instant Expert," "it would behoove the characters to have read a manual (even if none was mentioned)," and a few of the "person arrogantly didn't read the manual because they think they can figure it out" examples I mentioned earlier.
Could I get some clarification?
