Not sure how to go about this, but here goes.
Been playing Mass Effect 2 lately. I usually play as a female Shepard and during those playthroughs I love Jack in it. However playing as a male Shepard I find myself continually being pushed away from her because of how much worse she seems to treat him. So I've been working on pointing it out across the game and trope pages, however thought I should stop and ask for a bit of input.
I'm a little worried about going too far in discussing what a Jerkass Jack can be, if I hadn't already. Would someone mind looking at my recent edits and seeing if what I've said is fair enough?

There are two of these authors who write most of their work collaboratively, and I want to make a list of their works.
Should I make Creator pages for both of them and copy the same list onto both, or am I allowed to make one page for both of them, to reduce redundancy? I feel reluctant to only make a page for one of them.
(Another problem is that they have self-published their works under one imprint, and traditionally published with another.)

Okay, the WMG section for the TV horror-drama, Supernatural, is getting excessively crowded, with no order to any of the WMG.
I want to do folders (which I know how to make) or redirects to new pages (which I don't know how to do) for different categories, but I'm not kidding when I call that thing huge and disorganized. I don't have the time (in real life or in the short amount allowed for edit sessions) to do all that by myself, so I'm requesting backup/help/divine intervention from anybody willing.
Please?
P.S. I'd also like to know if I'm even allowed to do that.

What's the trope for a character putting himself out of a job? Specifically, I'm thinking of a series where the Norse messenger god, Heimdall, got annoyed at being summoned to random places whenever the other gods needed to communicate long-distance, and nudged a human inventor to create the telegraph, which eventually lead to cell phones and the internet making his job obsolete.
It's kinda close to Gone Horribly Right, but not quite.

I was thinking of making a work page for [1], but then I found out it already existed. Anyway, I did some sprucing up (namely: picture, caption, publication details) , but the thing is, it's indexed under Literature instead of Comic Book. I would gladly move it under the correct index page but, A) I'm not that good with that kind of repair work, and B) I didn't launch the page myself so, I don't think I've got that kind of authority over it. Anyway, my point is, I think it should be indexed under Comic Book, not Literature. Any thoughts?

What namespace would Saxxy nominees and winners
go into? I wanted to make some pages for the winners, but I don't know which namespace to enter them into. They're not Web Animation , Web Original doesn't exist anymore, and they're not (with the exception of the replays) recordings of the game itself.

Uggh. Goodness. To any admins out there. A troper named Rose And Heather and I have been getting into it recently over a television relationship in The Newsroom. Said troper seems to have a problem with any fan reaction that they consider in opposition to this couple. My edits have been purely based on what I've seen played on the show. Mind you this is not Ruined Forever because this couple is now together type stuff. It's observational. Anyway now this individual's beef seems to extend beyond that as they deleted a perfectly sound edit that I made to the same page. I can tell that this individual is at least intelligent enough to know that the reason they cited for deletion of said edit is ridiculous. I recently blocked them from P Ming me and this seems an attempt to draw me into some sort of flame war or something I don't know. Anyway if you've seen the show feel free to look at my edits, particularly this most recent one Irony and decide for yourself.

This can apply to other mediums as well, but I'm editing the character entry for Antonio from the cast of Power Rangers Samurai. Specificially, I'm adding the Iaijutsu Practitioner trope. Reading the Iaijutsu Practitioner page, I just discovered the existence of the Blade Spam trope as well (a Sub-Trope of Spam Attack), all of which apply to the character. Would I just list the Blade Spam subtrope by itself alphabetically (in the "B" section), or would I use the following format (in the "S" section)?:
Thanks in advance for the clarification.

Not sure if this is the right place for this, but can we either unlock the Ctrl Alt Del page, or get a mod who follows it to update it?
The main storyline has concluded and it's gone through a pretty severe reboot so... updates are in order. There's a few things listed in the Discussion that need to be added, but the description itself needs an overhaul now.

Apologies if this has already been asked and answered somewhere.
I have noticed there are Works pages concerning articles of fan fiction. What are the rules for this? (or at least, accepted best practice). Does a fan work have to be especially popular or meritorious to deserve a works page of its own? Does it have to have accepted literary excellence? I'm asuming the rule about not reccomending your own works of fan fiction applies here? (no using tvtropes for self-publicity). I'm interested as to how this works. Thanks in advance!

So, I'm new and I had a question to pose.
I'm part of a minecraft server called Dream Team Craft. Now, Minecraft servers themselves are run of the mill and somewhat dull, we do have a nice but small library of fanfic for the server lore. Some of it I thought was very good and I think deserved more exposure outside of its small audience. I know there is no notability policy, but I'm still unsure if you'd all be OK with such a page.
The library itself can be viewed here. http://dreamteamdwa.enjin.com/forum/m/7014386/viewforum/1829836

How do I redirect to the music namespace without doing full page name?
I'm trying to clean up the redirects on X Japan and its members' pages, but there are two problems here.
First is a basic potholing issue - let's say, I want to put X Japan and have it as a pothole from "one of the first Visual Kei bands" with the text showing as "one of the first Visual Kei bands" with the pothole.
The second issue is related: I want Hideto Matsumoto to show up as "hide" in most articles. How do I do that without creating a redirect on the article itself (I can only imagine what a problem for the wiki having that redirect might be... since obviously everything that uses the word "hide" is NOT going to be referring to the late X guitarist) and without doing hide which directs to the old "main" article before it was moved to the music namespace. Similarly I want to have Tomoaki Ishizuka as "Pata" in most pages per stage name as standard.
Hopefully someone can help with this and I wasn't too confusing about the issue.

Should Let's Play be listed on a work's page as a trope? Seems kind of pointless as it has nothing to do with the work itself. The Kings Quest VI page is an example. I edited it out, but it was added back.

Dark Hero 9 seems to have a Single-Issue Wonk in regards to an example of The Dog Shot First in the Updated Re-release of Mobile Suit Gundam SEED. In the original, Kira (The Hero) kills Nichol (a member of the Five Bad Band) in self-defense when Nichol ambushes him. In the remake, Kira simply dodges Nichol's attack, and Nichol dies by accidentally impaling himself on Kira's Laser Blade.
Seems like a pretty textbook example of The Dog Shot First, but Dark Hero 9 has removed it a half-dozen times across both the Gundam Seed and The Dog Shot First pages in two different incidents (first on October 12th last year, then again on February 7th this year), insisting that it's not an example.
Seems like a really stupid thing to get in an edit war over, but that's where it's heading.

Not sure what to do about the page Tara And John. It's full of zero-context examples that, if disposed of, would make the page pretty much completely empty. It could be argued that one could just read through the comic itself and add context...but I looked it up and I'm not quite sure I really want to read beyond the couple I glanced at to do that.

I wasn't sure where else to put this, but given the potential edit war scenario that could come about, I thought I'd at least try here first.
Anyway, I think it's time to figure out what to do about the naming consistencies when it comes to Naruto. The character sheets (where I spend most of my time) alone are a mess when it comes to using naming conventions, and some pages aren't even consistent with themselves. For example, the same folder uses Mokuton (direct romanji), Wood Release (literal translation and what the Wiki uses), and Wood Style (official English translation). I'd really rather not just decide by myself carte blanche which version to use. In the interest of cutting off an edit war before it even starts, what do you guys suggest I do?

Can I please get a moderator revert to Frank75's changes on FiveManBand.Anime W-Z? The changes were a result of a misunderstanding (see this thread
), since sorted, but the end result is that a lot bad examples were re-added to the page. I'd revert myself, but the diffs get screwy with large changes on the Five-Man Band subpages (meaning it's not easy to see what actually was changed), so it would take a lot of time on my part.

Troper artfreak1111 has issues with my edits, particuarly with my treatment of Say My Name. I started to comment out Zero Context Example and weblinks. I actually tried to help since the page was mentioned in long-term projects.
I admit that I didn't take in mind that the page is self-demonstrating, but I asked first at the forum what the basic approach was.
The thing is that artfreak111 PM'd me and accused me of spoiling the page. Apparently they think Zero Context Example and Weblinks Are Not Examples are bad rules.
Hope everything will work just fine. If my edits were too harsh, I can work on reverting them.

Okay, so there's this troper named Tiggle3. Over the past few days
, he's been continually cutting a specific Stock Footage Failure example from the Power Rangers Megaforce YMMV page and arguing that it's not an example, despite myself and at least one other troper re-adding it and explaining in very clear terms why it's a valid example several times.
I don't wish to prolong an edit war, so I was wondering if perhaps someone could have a talk with him?

An issue over at Avengers Arena: There's a entry for Flanderization that user Majin Gojira keeps reposting, after I and two users deleted it. The reasoning for the example seems flimsy to me, and I've seen his other edits and it's clear he has a problem (much like a lot of other users) with the series, as it is a Base Breaker. The entry itself:
So am I being nitpicky or is there a problem here?
