openTrying to add an Incredibles/MHA crossover page Anime
Hello, I think this fanfiction is worthy of having its own page:
https://www.fanfiction.net/s/13466524/1/My-Incredible-Academia
as well as being mentioned in fanfic recs/fan works for both MHA and Incredibles in the crossover section but I'm not sure how to do it myself. Even though I go on Tv Tropes a lot I have only recently made my own account so still getting to grips with it. I could do with some help please.

It's been super long since last edit and i can't fill up the page myself. Can anyone help out?
openWould the 'LGBT Fanbase' trope go into multiple entries of a franchise without a general YMMV? Anime
Wondering about adding a specific entry for the trope for the YMMV of Magia Record, one of the Madoka spinoffs. Now Madoka itself has a entry for the original anime under the trope, but the YMMV page is for the original anime, not the franchise as a wide, while Record has quite a few specific examples to it. Would there be any issue in adding a specific entry for Record's YMMV about LGBT Fanbase?
resolved Does YMMV have a different standard for natter than Main? Anime
Hi,
This edit
for YMMV.The 100 Girlfriends Who Really Really Really Really Really Love You strikes me as natter. I was looking to edit the paragraph so that it doesn't look like the wiki arguing with itself, but before I do, I wanted to check whether YMMV has a different (lower?) standard for natter than Main.
My reasoning is given that the opinions expressed in YMMV tend to be subjective, does that mean that it's acceptable for Tropers to respond/debate under an entry?
openBastard!! - page name question Anime
I noticed that the page for Bastard 1988 specifies the year in the work name, but the page itself also covers the 2022 adaptation, and the page image is from the 2022 adaptation as well.
I would suggest the 1988 be dropped from the page name — I think just "Bastard!!" is more appropriate, if the page is going to cover multiple iterations of the work — but I am not familiar with it at all (was browsing randomly), so I don't think I should make that decision.
I don't know if that would mean the WikiWord should change as well, which is a larger project.
Again, since I'm not familiar with the work, if people don't think it's an issue, no worries. If there are any changes that don't require having read or seen it, I'm happy to make them.
Edited by DiggerMopenPossible misuse Anime
Here's a The Complainer Is Always Wrong entry regarding Code Geass:
- Between himself and his best friend Suzaku and dear sister Nunnally, it sure feels like this for Lelouch of Code Geass. Taken to even greater heights in Turn 19 of R2 during Schneizel's meeting with the Black Knights; first with Tamaki and Diethard, who contend that anyone could have faked the recording, and after everyone has made up their minds, Kallen, who in an attempt to protect Zero from his would-be traitors, calls her fellow comrades out on being too one-sided, only to be warned to get out of the way or be shot down on suspicion of being geassed. Lelouch ends up lying to her in order for her life to be spared. The following episode, Diethard's earlier attempt to rein in an AWOL Ohgi by holding Villetta, the one responsible, captive, ended up with him getting a few bruises, and complaining to himself that Ohgi, who remains on the Black Knights and is now joined by Villetta, is miscast as a leader.
- The third Compilation Movie's take on these events have Ohgi fall under this when he wants to give Zero a chance to explain himself and tell the truth, and objects to Schneizel's men preparing to shoot until they actually have their answers. He and Viletta also have a point with Deithard considering he really was doing a couple of stuff behind their backs, including how in this version, he was the one who shot her and caused her amnesia that led to them meeting in the first place.
The first line is a Zero-Context Example as it doesn't explain how Lelouch falls under this, and the Black Knights who objected to the betrayal were actually in the right and made better points (and it was several of them objecting, not just one person) so it doesn't seem the narrative is portraying them as wrong for doing so. I'm not sure if it counts overall but I think it at least needs to be re-worded.
Edited by Javertshark13resolved Troper with character wonks Anime
cotton-cloud22 appears to have this wonk regarding Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba of defending Zenitsu and bashing Obanai.
- Added a Draco in Leather Pants entry
for Obanai that, while not in itself wrong, used all caps to call him “WORSE” than Zenitsu AND a Misaimed Fandom entry complaining about the fandom not realizing Obanai is worse than Zenitsu. I have since moved the entry to Ron the Death Eater to focus more on Zenitsu’s demonization in the fandom and removed mentions of Obanai.
- This Unintentionally Unsympathetic entry on Obanai
isn’t too bad in isolation, but worth mentioning for their wonk against him and how it seems to take his gags too seriously.
- Speaking of taking gags too seriously, after I removed a Karmic Overkill entry for Yoshiteru (Zenitsu’s descendant) that bashed how Obanai’s reincarnation treated him since I felt it was misuse as a gag moment, they re-added it
.
- Complainy ship-to-ship combat entries
(I’ve since reworded them to sound more neutral).
- All their edits on the Fandom-Enraging misconception
subpage feel less like straightforward examples and more of rants against people who dislike Zenitsu. Also includes another all caps claiming Obanai is “WORSE” regarding jealousy which just feels like a shoehorn. (On a side note I think the Fandom-Enraging Misconception subpage for Demon Slayer as a whole needs a clean-up, it’s pretty messy).

resolved Assistance with Example/Crosswick Anime
https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ColdTouchSurprise
Someone added a video to Cold Touch Surprise. Now, the video fits the trope well, as far as I'm concerned. However, whoever added it didn't do an example write up for the series it depicts, and I myself am not familiar enough with the work to be sure I get all the respective details correct.
Would anyone familiar with the series please add the write up and crosswick it?

About seven years ago the troper Seguir made a sweeping edit
to the Tearjerker page
for Death Note, removing a number of entries with the edit reason saying "removing apologism for murderers and melodrama" with no further explanation given. I don't see how a lot of the removed entries (such as Hatori's death or Light's amnesiac self screaming when he regains his memories) fit this description so I'm wondering if anyone feels they should be restored.
