openWould the 'LGBT Fanbase' trope go into multiple entries of a franchise without a general YMMV? Anime
Wondering about adding a specific entry for the trope for the YMMV of Magia Record, one of the Madoka spinoffs. Now Madoka itself has a entry for the original anime under the trope, but the YMMV page is for the original anime, not the franchise as a wide, while Record has quite a few specific examples to it. Would there be any issue in adding a specific entry for Record's YMMV about LGBT Fanbase?

resolved Strange edit choice done on the Heartwarming Super Mario RPG page Videogame
For context, shortly after the Nintendo Switch remake came out in 2023, I made an edit to change the names for two of the music tracks mentioned on the page to the official English names given in said Switch remake's sound test. https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/article_history.php?article=Heartwarming.SuperMarioRPG&page=2#edit38885135
And then, over two months later, user Tailikku reverted the change with the reason "Using the actual tracklist from the album". https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/article_history.php?article=Heartwarming.SuperMarioRPG&page=2#edit39586476
One problem: the English names commonly used by fans prior to the Switch remake were unofficial translations from the original Japanese. Hence, the change Tailikku did was unnecessary and should probably be reverted back to the edit I put together. How I noticed this now of all times is...quite the strangest thing to say the least.
I was about to revert the changes but I went ahead and double-checked that I already did so after having some deja vu and after confirming that I had, in fact, already made that exact edit, if I went ahead with the re-reversion it would constitute edit warring which got me temporarily suspended twice in the past for doing. I had also considered sending Tailikku a notifier about the changes in question, but I couldn't find anything that worked best for the situation, so...Ask The Tropers it is, I suppose.
To make a long story short, should the unofficial English names be reverted back to the official ones or not?
Edited by nintendofanboy77resolved Edit war/other issues
Keyblade edit-warred on this page
by re-adding an almost victim-blame-y Never My Fault entry after it was previously removed for a thoroughly-stated and reasonable reason, without an edit reason of their own explaining why the re-addition was justified. And this is after multiple notifiers I've sent to them for other issues, such as indentation, and they're still
continuing to make such mistakes.
openChange Evan Bourne back to Matt Sydal.
I want to change the page Evan Bourne back to Matt Sydal since said wrestler reverted back to the latter ring name since 2014. Is there a way to do that?
Berserk Button: misusing Nightmare Fuel
resolved Would it be acceptable to link to this site?
Racial Holy War is a notorious tabletop RPG known for two things: its deeply racist premise, where white supremacist cultists slaughter minorities, and its horribly unfinished rules.
The manual is publicly and freely shared by its author
on the Creativity Alliance (the white supremacist cult the player characters belong to)'s website.
On one hand, if a work is free to download, I think it makes sense for it to be linked to in the work's page description. On the other hand, the file is hosted on a neo-Nazi website and I'd rather not link to such a page. Any opinions on whether or not to include the link?
openShould my page explanations be long?
So, I had recently removed an example from the Comic Books page regarding IDW Sonic the Hedgehog and I had provided an explanation
about why I removed that example and I was wondering if that explanation is a bit too long and am I allowed to write such a long explanation for the edits I made to a page?
openCan you edit war with yourself?
I'd just like to make sure it's okay to, having deleted your own entry, re-enter it with slightly different wording? Sorry if this is a bit obvious; I'd just like to make absolutely sure. Thanks.
openWhat exactly counts as "tropable"?

openRestoring Days of Conflict (DOC) and its sub-pages Web Original
Greetings, I wonder if TV Tropes can restore pages and all of associated links about web series Days of Conflict. It is an operational web series about alternate history: https://www.youtube.com/@TheNewOrder-DaysOfConflict
In the past, there was a former dev in this series asked for deletion of all pages. Now, the current devs wanted to restore them back to continue the series.
There have been several pages that were created, containing a lot of portraits. The current devs from Days of Conflict wanted to archive them because they lost all the portraits in their drive.
Several link page that was kept:

openCarmen (Theatre) move query
Have just spotted that for some reason Bizet's opera Carmen has been moved from Theatre.Carmen to an 1875 disambiguation. This seems a bit odd since not only is it by far and away the most famous theatrical production with that name, but despite the claim that it's to disambiguate it from other works with the same name... there aren't actually any? There's a ballet from 1949 that has a glorified stub article on Wikipedia, and a musical from 1990 that is explicitly based on the Bizet opera.
Considering there's apparently almost 6 and a half thousand inbound links it seems like this should be reverted.
openSafe to recreate page?
NightmareFuel.Fancy Island had been cut due to it "only being updated by a ban evader". However, Fancy Island is a horror game, and thus has plenty of Nightmare Fuel (to the point that it provides the image for NightmareFuel.Web Original. Would it be safe to remake this page?

openSingle troper's vandalism of animated series all from same creator Western Animation
A troper by the name of Bento Boxer Justin Roiland has had a history of vandalizing work pages involving cartoons created by Brazilian animator Pedro Eboli, often adding false information. This includes:
- Claiming his works from Birdo Studio (Oswaldo, Cupcake & Dino: General Services, and Ba Da Bean) were co-produced by Bento Box Entertainment on December 16, 2024
(edit removed January 13, 2025
).
- They added this information to Bento Box's page too on April 19, 2025
. (removed April 24, 2025
)
- They also said Ollie's Pack was animated by Atomic Cartoons, Toon City, and Snipple Animation on April 19, 2025
(removed April 24, 2025
).
- They added this information to Bento Box's page too on April 19, 2025
- Creating a Character Sheet for Cupcake & Dino: General Services full of outright false information on December 17 2024. (page was cut by yours truly)
- Creating a Crosses the Line Twice page for Ollie's Pack once again full of false information and using a page image not actually from the show on February 1, 2025 (has been added to the Cutlist by me again).
- Adding a frankly bizarre and nonsensical, as well as unnecessary, image and caption to the Ollie's Pack Character Sheet photoshopping the characters' heads onto the cast of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia on April 18, 2025
(removed May 8, 2025
).
- Also adding links to that image and new ones to the Image Links for Crosses the Line Twice on May 6, 2025
that appear to go to their Deviantart. (images cut May 8, 2025
).
- Also adding links to that image and new ones to the Image Links for Crosses the Line Twice on May 6, 2025
There are probably other examples, but I think we all get the point (I get the sense they are a ban evader as another troper named Morty 336 Steve 909 made similar vandalizing edits regarding the same shows). And while they do seem to have made a few positive contributions, this frequent vandalism and spreading of misinformation targeting a few specific shows (that all share the same creator, so I have my suspicions here) is very frustrating, especially for people who work on pages for obscure works, like myself. While I am personally of the belief that this user should be banned, I would like to know what other people's opinions on this matter is.
Edited by MagnusForceopenNoting voice actor changes
So one thing I noticed on actor and voice actor pages was a noting about The Other Darrin treatment in their roles, as well as actor replacing another one for a remake or another season/movie/game.
For example, take this from two different creator pages :
- Cassius Bright in the Trails Series (succeeded by Kenji Hamada in the Sky remake)
Then for Kenji Hamada:
- Cassius Bright in Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter (succeeding Yukimasa Kishino)
For some reason, this strikes me as odd. Sure, it could be noted for historical purposes but what about from the perspective of an outsider? They would likely be kind of confused like "wait, they got a new voice actor? What is going on?".
Any other thoughts on this matter?
