open I can't remember the name of this one show Web Original
I believe this is a web original though I can't really remember there was a UK comedy about these 4 to 6 kids in the UK they were about collage level and i remember two of them were playing frisbee in like a park and the one (smarter) kid threw it and hit a retarded girl and then got chased by a bunch of buff guys I do remember a video on You Tube about the US version being a lot less funnier it was on You Tube btw I can't really remember the name
openHow is this a Zero Context Example? Web Original
I saw this article in the Character section for RWBY that's apparently a ZCE, but I'm not sure how it's one. For reference's sake, here it is: ** Character-wise, she has the motifs of 1939 film adaptation of the Wicked Witch of the West. Both have unusually-colored skin that define their trademark evil appearance. Both have watched over the protagonists over the course of their journey, yet little is known of their backstory and relationships with the main characters.
openFireball20XL page issues Web Original
The Website.Fireball 20 XL and YMMV.Fireball 20 XL have really long descriptions and ROCEJ violations, among other problems like some paragraphs being written in present-tense and others in past tense and parentheses overuse.
resolved Cinemasins Critical Research Failure Web Original
On the Cinemasins Critical Research Failure Page, one of the examples is the narrator not knowing that the Smiley Face on Mars depicted in Watchmen is real. Is this considered common enough knowledge to count as a Critical research Failure?
openRemoving the index from a work page Web Original
Godsfall is listed as an index when it shouldn't be, and I can't find the page type editor anymore. If there's a link to a tool or a forum thread for page type changes, I'd appreciate for the report to be directed to the right place. :)
open"GG" Hashtag mention on YMMV.Foldingideas Web Original
I found a mention of that hashtag on YMMV.Folding Ideas that was added around Thanksgiving (and was the first edit of the page). And as a precaution, I want to know if any policies changed regarding that hashtag before removing it?
Edited by MorningStar1337openPossible ban evasion sock Web Original
I've noticed
all nearly every single edit by Lianawolfe was for Lily Peet, heavily focused on it. There's a small bit of other series, like MLPFIM, but that's about it. Is it possible they're a sock of Seminoles 8? They showed up and started editing within the same month as well.
openSo, I want to create a work page for my review series? Web Original
Hello. I'll admit is kind of selfish, but, I used to work on a series of reviews for many years, even having some sort of mascot for it, and I wish to create a work page for it on this site. However, what rules should the workpage should have, since, well, you know, is my own work and I think there should be a restriction to it, right?
resolved Nostalgia Critic Awesome Moments Web Original
On the Nostalgia Critic Awesome Moments page, there is a bit of conflict over whether this example from the Blues Brothers 2000 review should be included: "The Critic's constant tearing into Blues Brothers 2000 for being a severe downgrade of the original. He even goes out of character at a few points, one in which he interrupts his "Fuckital" ad to show the statue of The Blues Brothers atop the Hollywood Blvd. Theater to show how the original movie is such a symbol of Chicago." Some people said this shouldn't be included because in the skit, there was a Black Comedy bit where one of the characters overdoses on the "Fuckital" and is implied to have died, with them saying that it shouldn't be an awesome moment because the Critic was more concerned with a bad movie than someone else's life. While in-universe, it may be the Critic being selfish, from a meta perspective, the creator, Doug Walker was making a statement about the movie's poor quality and calls out how it fails to live up to the original film. So should it be included?
Edited by costanton11openWhat to create a new page, too new and bad too do so. Web Original
I want to create a page for TierZoo

openEdit war on Characters.RWBYSalemsFaction Web Original
Soarel is being adamant on adding back an example that was pulled over to discussion.
Article in question here.
Edited by AnoBakaDesuopen Beavers building a damn Web Original
So I remember watching a vhs about a beaver and him building a damn with his tail. It’s in colour and the damn breaks and he picks up mid with his tail to fix the dam. Other cartoons like a dog in a doghouse in the rain or being caught by a dog catcher. Very earlier 90s possibly way before. Driving me insane!
resolved Splitting the Characters page for HGS Web Original
This is the first time I'm gonna hard split a page, and the Administrivia says that I need mod assistance for this. The Characters page for Hunger Games Simulation has gotten so long that there's already a warning. How do we split this?
Edited by TroperNo9001openNot sure if this is the right place to ask but... Web Original
The [[Web Video/Ahoy]] page is quite lacking. No tropes or anything. Considering how good the Iconic Arms series is, I'm sure some fans could help me out here.
Edited by Crocket_LawnchairopenRWBY funny bits removed for no reason Web Original
So I happened to look at the RWBY funny page, and I almost immediately noticed that something was missing. I checked the history page and sure enough, 2 different entries under the 'other' folder was deleted without any reason provided, the date being the 28th of October by one customstone. Incidentally, both entries happens to be related to the character, Yang Xiao Long.
I obviously don't know his reasons for deleting them, but I wanted to hear if it was alright I added them back until further notice?
openMLP Analysis "The Scrappy" is bloated and unnecessary Web Original
YMMV.MLP Analysis entry for "The Scrappy" is extremely bloated, containing a lot more interpersonal drama than anything regarding the creators works. Particularly accusations of off-screen abuse from parents/friends/community members, linking random drama videos. It is clear that the section is being used as message board more than anything.
Also it seems a few people are determined to fill the page with entries that have been removed from the specific creators page for troping real people.
Edited by lianawolfeopenDouchebag Link Returns to Termina Web Original
I doubt this is a question, but I did have a suggestion for one more trope to be added to this series. I am thinking about the trope "The Reason You Suck Speech" especially in this scene. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C9OmzP2hxj8&t=883s
this is where Majora starts reminding Link of all of the crazy things he has done and why he ended up the way he did.

Hello, I have a question:
I've been following this video blogger for some time, and I thought of adding a page for her on TV Tropes, the thing is that she blogs Real Life stuff of her daily life and her family. As such I am not sure if it's appropriate to add trope entries for things and situations of Real Life. I've seen pages of bloggers that deal with specific topics, and do opinion pieces, but she is mostly Slice of Life and the ups-and-downs of her life, I kinda think of it like a sitcom where she and her family are the protagonists.
As such what do other editors think of this?
