resolved Troper with an agenda? Videogame
So, the newest edit for Characters.Super Danganronpa Another 2 Female Students appears to have removed most of the examples relating to homosexuality
, they also gave no reason for removing them, what should we do?
resolved Want to link a video to a specific Character Sheet but there’s a problem Videogame
I’m not sure if this is the correct forum to post but I’d like to say that I’m new to editing on this site and I want to edit a very specific Character Sheet.
Let me explain.
I’ve been editing pages for Twisted-Wonderland for awhile and I want to add something specific to one their Heartslabyul Character Sheet.
You see recently, the characters belonging to the Heartslabyul Dorm just received their very own Leitmotif on the Aniplex You Tube channel. However, the official music video is region-locked so I’m not sure if I should even put it on the Character Sheet or put in a reupload that has the region-lock disabled.
Should I place the You Tube link of the official video into the Character Sheet or leave the Sheet as is?
Here is the URL by the way: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UYqDDUxejvY
resolved Unicorn Overlord uncredited role Videogame
Specifically, one uncredited role. There's a reddit poster
who collects autographs from voice actors who performed in that game, and they get an autograph from Cherami Leigh, who signed on a character whose English VA is uncredited. According to the poster, she more-or-less confirms that she voiced the character, so I am wondering if this is confirmation of voicing a character?
opendoes non-diagetic music count as AnachronismStew? Videogame
On Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, one of the examples under Anachronism Stew is
"The campaign reveal trailer is set to The Prodigy's "Firestarter", which wouldn't be released until 1996; and the multiplayer reveal trailer uses RZA's remix of The Prodigy's "Breathe" released in 2021."
I really think that this is a stretch since trailers are a step removed from the world the work is set in and was about to remove it, but it got me thinking. In addition to the context above, would this also apply for any non-diagetic, original scores that were obviously written after the time the work is set in or uses instruments that would not have been invented at that time (such as Vangelis using synths for 1492: Conquest of Paradise)?
Edited by MorgisboardopenHow should I include this information? Videogame
Sorry if this is confusingly worded. If this is more of a Trope Finder sort of question, please tell me so or redirect me to elsewhere more appropriate.
Context: This query is about the song “Corruption” from the Phineas & Ferb themed Friday Night Funkin’ one-shot mod of the same name.
The mod’s creator Milo008 has released a remake of the song called Corrosion V2
with significant changes to production, most notably the lyrics rewritten to be more in-character. While the remake was never officially brought into the mod, it was very well received among fans of the one-shot and was considered to be even better than the original, to the point that there were multiple unofficial fan-made charts of this song for the mod itself.
I feel that this information is important to include in the description of this mod, but I don’t know how to mention this remake in the page, or to even mention it at all since it's outside of the mod.
Please advise.

openWanted to create a page for EA game No Rest for the Wicked, not sure about title. Videogame
I wanted to create VideoGame. No Rest For The Wicked (this
), but it seems that there is another work with that title, and I don't want to mix up potential non-main-work pages. Normally I would create VideoGame. No Rest For The Wicked 2024, but that is its Early Access release date - no idea when it's going to be out in 1.0. What would be a good title?
resolved Undertale CommonKnowledge on Trivia.YumeNikki Videogame
On Trivia.Yume Nikki ~CubeGET added an entry under Referenced by… for Undertale:
- Some of the NPCs in Undertale are inspired by those in Yume Nikki. This includes the nebulous "Mysteryman" that most people refer to as W.D Gaster due to incorrectly assuming they're one in the same. He looks extremely similar to Uboa.
I don't feel like the Common Knowledge bit belongs here. There is no concrete proof of what the entry is stating and said entry isn't on CommonKnowledge.Undertale either.
I tried removing that section (With an edit reason that admittedly didn't quite get across my thoughts corrrectly) though it was later reverted. I tried messaging cubeGET about this but he hasn't responded.
Edited by PROPLAYENopenAre we sure this counts as Anvilicious? Videogame
On Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, I saw this entry:
- Anvilicious: The game is not subtle with its anti-racism message. One of the reasons the Branded are considered a wasted plot is because of the much needed nuance they would add if they were ever mentioned outside of support conversations.
Thing is, while racism is a big specter in the game, it actually is addressed in the direct sequel, and I can't help but notice that Metaphor: ReFantazio is not regarded as Anvilicious despite having more plot elements based around inter-tribe bigotry. I'm wondering if this counts if that does't.
openCreating a Page Videogame
I noticed there wasn't any character entries for the cast of Star Wars: Bounty Hunter (Roz, Montross, Komari Vosa, Bando Gora) but I keep getting redirected to the Legends character page when I try to make one for the game.
Can someone help me with this?

resolved Odd change from "inverted" to "averted" from a while ago Videogame
Back on November 25th, 2024, BreezeBender changed
the Playing with a Trope denomination of my originally-added Stopped Numbering Sequels example on Hobo from Inverted to Averted "in the third game onwards." It's a quite odd edit because in accordance to what's cited in the SNS Playing With page, Inverted would be more descriptive of the example because the second installment had no number, while said number was then added for the next game in the series.
Before:
- Stopped Numbering Sequels: Inverted. The first sequel simply has the original Hobo title with the addition of a subtitle, Prison Brawl. The following games have their installment number in the title.
After:
- Stopped Numbering Sequels: Averted in the third game onwards. The first sequel simply has the original Hobo title with the addition of a subtitle, Prison Brawl. The following games have their installment number in the title.
I'd assume BreezeBender might have done the edit to correct some odd wording in the example's initial writing, so I thought about changing the denomination back to Inverted with some rewording to keep it grammatically consistent.
My proposed rewording:
- Stopped Numbering Sequels: Inverted. The first sequel simply has the original Hobo title with the addition of a subtitle, Prison Brawl. The games from Hobo 3: Wanted onwards have their installment number in the title.
Considering it's been several months since BreezeBender's edit, am I free to go ahead with my proposal, or would it count as an Edit War even when I ensured to make an ATT query for this?
Edited by Inky100resolved GenshinImpact - Xiao, TheOneGuy Videogame
Could we mention The One Guy about Xiao(Chinese: 魈) because
- He is the only character in Liyue with one-character name, while all others have two-character names.
- He is the only surviving Yaksha.
openMentions of mods in sub-pages (Funny, Nightmare Fuel, Heartwarming, etc) Videogame
I was recently cleaning NightmareFuel. The Sims and found a section listing an infamous Black Comedy mod. I checked the Nightmare Fuel page and didn't see anything regarding mods but I'm curious if it was right to remove it? The mod was unofficial and EA doesn't appear to have ever addressed it.
resolved Possible Recap namespace misuse? Videogame
It’s a little thing I’ve been thinking ever I saw a Recap page for ULTRAKILL. It’s unlike most of the recap pages I’ve seen, which are indexes of pages that trope a specific episode. You could probably make a recap page for each and every level of the game, but that’s not what’s happening here.
The game begins with V1 about to enter the mouth of hell. The page begins with how God created the world. Yeah, the latter comes first chronologically, but the player sees the former first when they boot up the game.
I’m thinking that this page should be moved to the “Timeline” namespace, but I just wanted to make sure I got the differences between the Recap namespace (the timeline as how the viewers experience it) and Timeline namespace (chronological order) right.

openGore Screaming Show page removed? Videogame
I'm just curious as to why the Gore Screaming Show page was removed. It just says "Note: This page was cut for reason: tdgoodrich1: Per P5"
I have absolutely no idea what that means and if it's something obvious then I'm new and just don't get it lmao
It'd be cool if I could remake it but I just wanna check and see if that's cool or not

On YMMV.Black Myth Wukong, Keqikombupig removed
part of a Fandom Rivalry entry regarding the dispute between fans of the game and Astro Bot after the latter won Game of the Year at the 2024 Game Awards, claiming it to be based on a mistranslation.
- "This isn't helped by the Game Science CEO venting anger and frustration on Chinese social media site Weibo, while Team Asobi brought positive energy with their acceptance speech."

On The Legend of Heroes: Trails through Daybreak, troper Doc Holiday removed
references to Daybreak and its sequel citing that they "use different naming conventions for their chapters". However, I don't think this might good, mostly following the logic of someone who hasn't played the game being confused like "wait are the chapters part of the acts?"
