Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
Ask the Tropers is for:
- General questions about the wiki, how it works, and how to do things.
- Reports of problems with wiki articles, or requests for help with wiki articles.
- Reports of misbehavior or abuse by other tropers.
Ask the Tropers is not for:
- Help identifying a trope. See TropeFinder.
- Help identifying a work. See MediaFinder.
- Asking if a trope example is valid. See the Trope Talk forum.
- Proposing new tropes. See TropeLaunchPad.
- Making bug reports. See QueryBugs.
- Asking for new wiki features. See QueryWishlist.
- Chatting with other tropers. See our forums.

Is this the best way to do a trope, or should it be like this:
Reality Subtext / Undermined By Reality: Example text here
or
Reality Subtext: Example trope info here
Undermined By Reality: Example info of trope here
I'm not really sure which is the best way to go about things with regard to this, but any help is appreciated, thanks! ;)

- In Season 8: Chapter 2 of red vs blue a seemingly innocuous call by simons is (correctly) interpreted by sarge as a sign that they are being held captive and that donut is dead.
Does this fall under "Eureka!" Moment or another trope?

I was randomly browsing the articles of shows I've watched and I realized the High Octane Nightmare Fuel for the series Blood-C
no longer exists. I can't check the edit history for a page that's already deleted, so I have to ask is there a new policy where we don't accept Nightmare Fuel pages anymore, or is there some other reason for this?

There seems to be some kind of weird importing drama thing going on on Desu Des Brigade. As far as I can tell, at least one person has added an accusation about that site stealing from another one, and a member of the Desu Des site, Professor Otaku had shown up to delete it, but it was added back just now.
I think that Professor Otaku (assuming this troper is the same person as the one connected with Desu Des Brigade) was right to delete it and that kind of accusation shouldn't be on a page.
Edit- the troper adding the accusation is a christmas44777- if I'm reading correctly, they are from the site that they are accusing the Desu Des brigade people of stealing from.

I'm not sure whether this is the right place to ask, but I'm only new here and I haven't gotten the hang of where everything belongs yet.
I have filled up the page on the anime Ray The Animation that was empty until now. It's my first entry on Tv Tropes, and I wanted to know whether it's at least somewhat good (I know it's probably not complete though) and what I can do to improve it.
Thanks in advance for checking it out.

Does the capitalization affect whether a page shows up as indexed or not? I'm asking because The Taleof Tarama is listed on Machinima(with the 'of' capitalized like you'd expect), but the page itself still says it's unindexed.

The Trivia sub-page for Japan Takes Over the World has content that is more appropriate for the Analysis subpage. Should it be shifted over there?

I thought Anonymous editing was permanently gone... Yes I get this when editing:
''This entry is checked out until 10:23 Pacific Standard Time by 71.172.213.167.''

How do you get to the "archived" part of a discussion page? The pages say upper right, but I go to the upper right and all I see is the "parachute to the bottom" icon.
Specifically, I was looking in the So Bad, It's Horrible discussion and noticed that the entire discussion page was blank. I looked for the archives, but found none. Where do I go to get to the archives?
(Bear in mind, however, that I'm the kind of guy who will stare into an open refrigerator for three minutes looking for milk to put on his cereal, find there's no milk, fix himself some toast instead, eat the toast, and then see the milk sitting right in the front of the fridge as he puts the butter away.)

neuralmisfit erased a large portion of the Darker and Edgier page. I don't know whether it was an accident, or intentional vandalism. This is mostly an FYI.

skarl lacks capitalization, grammar, punctuation, and the ability to read trope descriptions or write coherent examples as shown in his recent edit to Mondegreen
. Please advise.
