openCharacter page discouraging commenting out of ZCEs? Web Original
I've been commenting out ZCEs Characters.Whateley Universe Whateley Academy as per the policy, but only recently did I notice this commented-out note:
"Yes. there are a lot of Zero-Context Examples. Try and fill them. Commenting them out makes them harder to notice? The Crystalhall.wikia.com page for each character should give info on where to find quotations or whatever, to fill them in..."
Is this okay? Should I continue commenting them out despite this notice?

For Super Mario Logan Jeffy And Junior Sneak Out I mistakenly used two images and not just one. Do I have to create a thread if I want to get rid of just one?

Edited by LarrytheKingopenUnable to save an edit I want to do to a page. Web Original
I'm trying to edit Trivia. The Amazing Digital Circus, including, among other planned changes, this re-write of the latest What Could Have Been entry added to the page so that it doesn't copy word-for-word the source's text.
- As revealed by Gooseworx on a tweet
, the show's title logo originally had two different designs, before Gooseworx settled on the current one. According to her accompanying statement, she wanted the logo to look "kinda tacky", but she thought she made it "too tacky" in the first two attempts. The final logo was described by her as striking a good balance, being relatively simple, and just bordering on "too much going on" without looking like "a complete eyesore."
Problem is, neither the "save" button nor the "confirm changes" tab allow me to save the edit, even when I change from my usual source editor to the newer visual editor. Can someone please tell me what's going on, or if I have to do something else?
resolved Entire Page Typo Web Original
I was looking on the Dethroning page for Web Orginal Others and noticed that there was a very obvious typo in the title and page url, with "Original" being spelled wrong.
Is this something for a mod or admin to fix? I'm hesitant on doing this myself, not only because of how big this change would be, but I just don't know how to do that properly.

I submitted a video example to the Rapid-Fire "No!" page showing Markiplier belting out 25 consecutive “No”s in one breath before getting jumpscared by Withered Chica. The primary trope was Rapid Fire No, the secondary trope was Jump Scare.
It got approved after a week of waiting, and I’ve been browsing the site since then, and just happened on one particular link on the Jump Scare page: No Video Examples, Please!
I swear to God, I legitimately had no idea that link was there until about three minutes before jumping on here and asking this question. So did I do a bad by uploading that?

openWhat's the deal with Tropedia and AllTheTropes? Web Original
There's a fandom wiki called Tropedia and a seemingly independent site called All The Tropes.org that seem to be 99% plagiarized from TV Tropes. I'm sure I'm not the first person to ask this but what's up with these sites, and is there any sort of beef we have with them?
resolved Is this mf a Love To Hate villain? Web Original
https://hate-sink.fandom.com/wiki/Patrick_Star_(Paka)
This is Patrick Star, from Paka's Dark SpongeBob Parodies. It's more than obvious he's a Hate Sinknote while some people may not trust FANDOM much because of some mistakes they have from time to time, they clearly discuss
every character before adding pages related to the Moral Ranking Wiki, Heroes Wiki, and Villains Wiki, since the series itself presents him as an irredeemable and dislikable, violent and cold asshole who wants nothing more than to kill SpongeBob and Junior (a baby clam, btw) at all costs (and he also basically represents the abusive husband in a toxic relationship when the sponge took the clam to his house, doubling his hatable points), whether is by killing people, threatening them at gunpoint, and -spoilers if you didn't see the animatics- making SpongeBob digs his own grave in a graveyard while having Junior in a cage.
Yet even with all this hatable and unsympathetic traits, he also has some Evil Is Cool moments when he kills an entire gang all by himself, all of the things he does to get to Sponge and Junior actually shows him how much of a clever and manipulative son of a bitch he is that accompanies his brutality (and this is Patrick, by the way), and, after the events of Part 2, he's shown to have the regenerative and cloning powers like his The Bikini Bottom Horror counterpart, which he uses to beat the crap out of and kidnap Mr. Krabs and asphyxiate Bubble Bass by making him gulp one of his parts by force, killing him and latter making a clone of himself be created, also Paka does a really good job at voicing him.
Apparently, I also saw that Hate Sinks can indeed also be "Love to Hate" characters, so he may also count.
Also sorry for all this Wall of Text.

Edited by Numbuh1507openPotential Edit War? Web Original
So there may seem to be an edit war going on in Fixing RWBY and its YMMV page over the trope Hate Fic (which it seems to have bled over into. I had edited out the entry there but this was prior to me finding out about this), where it was being moved back and forth between the two pages. Is this a case of an edit war?

The channel's Twitter page
now lists "they/them" as Greg's pronouns; we should update the article and its subpages accordingly.

openTroper causing harassment & vandalism on Escape from Vault Disney pages Web Original
There seems to be one troper involved called Babishka who has been vandalizing, harassing and removing me from the podcast of Escape from Vault Disney!, which I'm a guest on. I had to make an account to get a mod involved after Ms Ashley informed me about them. Ms Ashley and I have been PMing him about his edits and he seems to think no matter what, he is correct, and even when we try to reach a compromise on one of their edits, they still double down then starts blaming a random person named Konacha for their actions. I think he is blaming Konacha due to an edit war of trying to remove the offsite drama originally back in May and from I read that they are both suspended right now.
The page seems to be locked right now after I reported the vandalism as he was putting in some false information to the podcast about me. I'm just hoping someone can stop this guy because even the host of the podcast has called him out on X (Twitter) for the edits back in May. He is also trying to speak for me which I never did give permission for him to do. He keeps saying "this is what she wishes" when he doesn't know me, and the fact that he's pretending to is kinda creepy. I don't even know why they keep vandalizing me on here. I was also hoping to get the page unlocked soon too after this is all resolved.
Edited by AgathaVileresolved EditWar: Troper refusing to adhere to correct grammaical errors Web Original
HakillY has issues with grammar, and it's gotten to the point where they've edit-warred over it:
- After I cleaned up their draft of the MEH SMG4 page
, they returned to use incorrect punctuation of a few examples
, overwriting already correctly written examples and removing a correct one without discussion.
- I reinstated the page
back to what it was and sent them a notifier, but...
- They ignored it, re-added the same mistakes (and new ones to boot), and erased another example as well as the one they previously erased
, again without discussion.
resolved Would it be okay to make a character sheet spoilers off? Web Original
On the character sheet for Can't Go Home Again, The Warehouse Entity's character sheet has nearly every single entry spoiler marked. I feel like at that point, it would be better to just add an 'Unmarked Spoilers' section to the title of his character sheet and unspoil the entries.
I started a discussion asking about this on the works page. But it has not gotten any traction in the last couple days. I asked a mod what I should do, and they recommended I make a post here asking about it.

Okay, out of morbid curiosity, I need more details about what happened with the Errorverse page. The reason for its being cut — "Non-existent work. Only editor for the pages (who is likely one of the coauthors or a proxy for them) deleted their account when confronted." — implies that there was a bit of a brouhaha about it.
