Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
Ask the Tropers is for:
- General questions about the wiki, how it works, and how to do things.
- Reports of problems with wiki articles, or requests for help with wiki articles.
- Reports of misbehavior or abuse by other tropers.
Ask the Tropers is not for:

ccarlson85 made some questionable edits on the YMMV page for Ace Attorney.

The character sheet for Final Fantasy XIII has become quite a mess, with some duplicated entries from Final Fantasy XIII-2. Anyone care to supervise the edits over there?

What's the policy on weird characters in custom titles? I'm asking because E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy's title is often stylised as E.Ψ.Ǝ.: Divine Cybermancy, and I wonder whether it would be kosher to request that as a custom title for the article.

Issues involving raging at Layton being a Spotlight-Stealing Squad when his name is in the title of the game.
Example:
"* Dude, Not Funny!: Layton, the Spotlight-Stealing Squad of this game, calling himself a "mere side character" in the German version of the game."
" Spotlight-Stealing Squad: Even thought he's absent for a good part of the game."

Really want to add this somewhere.
- Crowning Moment Of Awesome: For about a year now XBOX Live members get two free games a month, and not just obscure or arcade games either. Assassins Creed! Gears of War! Rainbow Six Vegas! Dead Island! Sleeping Dogs! Hitman Absolution! What a way to reward the fan's loyalty, by offering solid recent games.
There isn't a place that it can go on the Microsoft, XBOX or Xbox Live pages. Where could it fit?

I created a Trivia tab for New Super Mario Bros. Wii, but when I click to the Main button to verify it goes to the page (which is in the Video Game namespace), it just leads to an empty Main page. Why is this happening?
The trivia page is here.

Troper ACW has been jumping the gun in regards to the cleanup efforts of the Complete Monster Video Games And Visual Novels page. They have cutlisted several of it's subpages (to the best of my knowledge without consulting the cleanup thread) despite each subpage having met the criteria to stay with the edit reason that they have been merged with the main page. Except that they haven't; they've only been merged with the sandbox they are working on which is not ready to be swapped in yet, leaving several redlinks on the main page and in the links from the work pages (as we put them there to stop misuse and give a handy direction) and multiple legitimate entries off of it.
The three subpages in question are Metal Gear, Dragon Quest and The Elder Scrolls

Okay I'm asking because I don't know the official policy for pages dedicated to classes. The reason being that I know that Fire Emblem has a class folder on its character sheet and one time I suggested making class page for another Strategy game (Disgaea) As well as made a sandbox page for said page. But the response was "no you can't do pages for classes" despite the FE class folder.
SO I wnat to know what Eddie's stance is on Classes and Character sheets.

Looking at YMMV articles for consoles makes me wonder why we have them for consoles. It'll just start flame wars.

I am concerned about the tone aaguyishere
adopted on Headscratchers.Ace Attorney, calling people "idiots".

See anything wrong with the page at all? What's with the silly joke? I didn't see anyone editing the page to be as such. Is this something the staff did to be funny or are we dealing with some type of weird vandalism?

has made a number of recent edits to Terraria with entries more suitable for YMMV and Trivia. I've just removed a number of the unsuitable edits and sent him a PM about that kind of thing.

On May 1, Xopher001 deleted a lot of stuff from the Nightmare Fuel page for Pokemon with no stated reason as to why and added a random This Troper-esque line. (I just now noticed.)

A troper added a Fan Dumb entry to Final Fantasy VI and I'm concerned its Flame Bait. Should it be removed?
