resolved Are Cut Pages Gone for Good? Web Original
I just noticed that the page for my personal channel was cut. Is there any way to retrieve the content so it can be archived elsewhere?
If not, it's not the end of the world.
openAPP Prophet buddy (webseries) Web Original
Prophet Buddy is an American short-lived web series created and animated by Eric Pringle. The series is about the unlikely friendship between a blue cat and a orange/brown mouse that sit together on a wall made of bricks
resolved Fairy Tail Anime
Has anyone considered Geoffrey from the Fairy Tail prequel manga/anime for CM status? A Tropershub user did (same, who approved Ezekiel, but no one else), but it got no answer.
From my knowledge he's not a strong candidate. He did (dunno, how responsible he was, though) destroy a town like Jose attempted to, but at the same time it's a crime a lot of villains did. He also enslaved a town, but as dark it was played, it sounds tame compared to what most other villains did. (Yeah, a Hope Crusher, that's it.)
There could be also other issues, though the user had no big problems with it.

openAPP Is there a trope that fits this description?
A character does something wrong or is disliked by others. By the end of the story, this same character get on the heroes's good graces by defeating a huge threat and saving everybody. A few examples I can think of:
1) Prince Eric (The Little Mermaid): King Triton doesn't like him due to being a human. He manages to kill Ursula, save Ariel and indirectly, Ursula's victims who were turned into polyps. All of this made King Triton let go of his prejudice against humans.
2) Tramp (Lady and the Tramp): he accidentally got Lady captured by the Dogcatcher, who took her to the pound, where she learned about his past girlfriends. He later kills the rat and saves Lady's family's baby, which led to him being adopted.
3) Flynn Rider (Tangled): he was a thief that stole the Princess's crown and has managed to evade the law for quite some time. He helped find the lost Princess (Rapunzel), return her to her true parents and indirectly killed her abusive kidnapper (Gothel). He was forgiven for his crimes and became part of the royal family.
Edited by Just-Another-Geeky-Otakuresolved Edit War and possible misuse of Fandom Heresy
On the Total Drama YMMV page, this entry
for Fandom Heresy was added by ~Art Draw 12
- Fandom Heresy: Do not call Sammy her forced nickname "Samey", even if that's how she's referred to throughout most of her screentime and in production notes. This just means Amy won. This example is particularly present among Sammy's fans and Amy's haters.
I removed it
for it not being something that the overall fandom take any real issue with, just a small section of fans of a specific character.
The entry was added back
by ArtDraw12 saying that it's been an issue, but then states it's mostly only among Sammy fans and Amy haters, not the overall Total Drama fandom. Even disregarding how I've seen literally nobody take actual issue with this, this seems to be missing the point of Fandom Heresy if it's only a small subsector of the fandom.
openMorgana & Oz? Webcomic
I want to make a page for the webcomic Morgana & Oz, but I found this message when I clicked on the red link on the Webtoonz page:
"Note: This page was cut for reason: Duplicate Creating red links in 2 articles. Abandoning inbound links. You may want to ask in Ask The Tropers about whether it's safe to recreate."
So, I'm asking here if it's okay to recreate the page. I'd make sure to do it properly, but I don't want to do anything if it's just going to be taken down again.
openSparklingkaboom
Sparklingkaboom is a new troper who has been editing Ymmv and Trivia pages en-masse at random, mainly moving Genius Bonus / Shown Their Work / Aluminum Christmas Trees examples between tabs. While technically not wrong, the spontaneous choice of pages is suspicious, do they resemble any banned users?
If not, then this
, this
(most edit reasons are like this), and this
edit reasons are not okay, while this
is misused.
resolved New troper bombing TLP with stub drafts
Troper Floraria 3 has posted seven minimal effort, no example stub drafts today, and has paid no attention to advice from tropers to adhere to TLP Guidelines. They show no sign of slowing down.
Edited by M2MediumopenTainted By The Preview disagreement, possible edit war
In YMMV.Touhou Kinjoukyou Fossilized Wonders I started the page with a Tainted by the Preview example here
that Pgj1997 removed
(With IMO a rather rude edit reason, but it's besides the point), making another edit
soon after citing the A.I.-Generated Content page in a way I thought was nonsensical because as far as I could see it fell under neither of those since it is part of the actual work. I ended up restoring
the example back since it's not speculative at all, only for them to remove
it again.
(For the record, it's not something I personally particularly feel strongly about in one direction or another, in case someone thinks I'm agenda-posting, but it's a sentiment I've seen enough that I felt it ought to be noted on the YMMV page.)
Edited by rmctagg09resolved Any quick search option
A technical question. I've started a handful of sandboxes in past year or so. I remember most of them, but I'd like to see if I remember all of them, so none of them will end up accidentally abandoned. Is there any other way of searching for them than sieving history of my own edits? Like some sort of "find pages started by troper" (or maybe even sandboxes) or similar?

Local Odd Squad Connoisseur
resolved Troper who just joined but doesn't quite know what they're doing
Floraria3 joined the site only last month, but has been on a spree of making edits and TLP stub drafts, one of which was prematurely launched and then kicked back
.
They seem to think that tropes like Chick Magnet and Ms. Fanservice should be split into their own pages (not as redirects) because they focus on two different genders. Likewise, they've been proposing tropes that tackle two different genders (which, as I write this, is happening in real time). Attempts by other tropers to talk to them, ask them to slow down, get familiar with the site, etc. have not worked.
They also made an edit to Betty and Veronica here
which links to a nonexistent trope (my guess is that they were planning on making it but haven't gotten around to it yet), but has since been removed.
Their Tropers page has been switched from the outline of a trope page which doesn't exist to...this
. It's essentially an outline of all the tropes they want to propose through TLP.
ImageLinks.Floraria 3 was also made as a subpage, then got sent to the cut list and cut.
Their mass of edits
on Girly Girl are also of some concern (though they seem to have been reverted by other tropers).
Overall, this troper is very new to the site, doesn't know what they're doing, and is rushing into things without slowing down and listening to other tropers' advice first.

openStrange entries in Life is Strange
Life is Strange has three weird entries on the bottom. The first is a fangame, the second are spiritual successors. Can they be cut?
Unofficial but notable works related to this franchise:
- Love Is Strange, a visual novel with characters from the first game made by Team Rumblebee and released in 2016. It jettisons all the sci-fi and tragic elements to focus purely on the Queer Romance aspects.
- Tell Me Why, released in 2020, a non-series game also developed by DONTNOD, with invokedvery similar themes. Due to having a different publisher it officially takes place in a separate continuity to Life Is Strange... but that hasn't stopped fans of the series from adopting it unofficially as an LIS title.
- Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, expected in early 2025, another non-series game developed (and this time self-published) by Don't Nod. Intended as the start of a new independent IP that draws on the studio's experience of making Life is Strange, again with similar themes but officially unconnected to the LiS universe.

The continued this shortly after I PM's about WikiWord, shortly enough they might not have read it yet, but before I realized their other issues. I think intervention is required given the extent of their issues.
