There was this cartoon I watched ages ago when I was a little kid in Hong Kong back in the early/mid-2000s. I even had a boxed set containing all the episodes on a bunch of DVDs that I brought with me when I first moved to Canada, but they're long gone from my life now. And I also remember the show being in English (can't remember if it had Chinese-language option, but artstyle looked fairly western or at least animesque to my memory).
It was about these three dinosaur-like aliens (leader was a man with pterosaur wings, other two were a girl with a crest and a triceratops boy) who go to Earth and travel through the Triassic, Jurassic, and Cretaceous periods, encountering dinosaurs while also teaching kids about dinosaurs. There was also a Big Bad (I think he was the dad of the girl) who sometimes created giant mutant hybrid dinosaurs to attack the heroes, and I think a woman who guided the dinos on their adventures by talking to them via computer screen.
Bits I distinctly remember from the series include the heroes seeing a huge mosasaur that snatches a sea turtle resting on a rock by the ocean; a scene where the heroes find a Parasaurolophus that's been frozen in time (with blank eyes) due to the villains stealing its voice box to create one of the hybrid dinos; an episode where the triceratops boy has a dream of being abducted by dinosauroids (remember being really freaked out by it because the dino-men were really creepy to me); and two episodes about dinosaur extinction theories (one involved climate change, another involved volcanoes).
