The TVTropes Trope Finder is where you can come to ask questions like "Do we have this one?" and "What's the trope about...?" Trying to rediscover a long lost show or other medium but need a little help? Head to Media Finder and try your luck there. Want to propose a new trope? You should be over at You Know, That Thing Where.
Cosmic Deadline seems to be what you're looking for, the way events get wrapped up in increasingly awkward and rushed ways as the end of the series approaches. the name isn't especially indicative of its content, and i feel like there should be a YMMV equivalent (an inversion of Ending Fatigue, essentially). Ass Pull may be involved if the solutions seem to come up in an arbitrarily convenient manner.
Thanks!
Two for one combo-nation!
Hardy har, get your minds out of the gutter.
This is YMMV, but is there a trope where an ending just feels, like rushed? Like it could have gone on for a little bit more but instead the climax is just a little... too perfect? Like, everything goes right and it's all wrapped up in a quick neat bow.
I'm speaking from the experience of like, seeing the finale of some webcomic. Everything looks bad for our heroes: One of the good guys has been turned into a bad guy, the heroes are fighting against monsters they may not be able to win against. Everything looks like it's going to go to the dogs, but look! It's the hero, who has come to save the day! They go to confront the Big Bad, but... oh, just like that. They beat the villain in like, just a few panels.
Is there anything related to this trope, like, unsatisfying endings that feel like they could have made it longer?
